It was time once again to take on a quest maybe for the last time of this visit before he wanders off to the other sides of the country that he might wander for the remainder of the free time that he has on his hand before another event of danger or something else that is out of his control might cause as he needs to take on a few more tasks and maybe find someone that he can get along with as he was not young anymore or maybe he needed someone to test those waters with but for now he has to get down to business. Kaito walked up to the board and he sees a easy enough mission of taking on some rats and he was going to push as had as he can to get it done swiftly and not just let himself get lazy or to drag his feet as he heads for the place that was listed on the request.

Kaito looks around as he had expected to be met by someone here to let him in but there was no one besides some rats that he swiftly dispatched around but he walks up to the door and he sees an arrow that pointed down and he moves the welcome mat and he sees the key and a note saying to please handle the rats and then he may take the jewels from the safe inside as they trusted him one of the most famous mages in the world to do the mission right and not half ass it, but he is confused how they knew he was going to be the one that took that quest had he become that predictable? Kaito guessed that he had as he moved forward and he tried to think up some kind of plan to handle this place as two of his team walk up on either side of him and they jokingly say they will help him handle it and now Kaito is completely confused on how that worked out like that.

Revy opened the door the full way and they all walked in together and something seemed odd to Kaito but he couldn't place it as he fought with rats and other small creatures that seemed to come out of no where and attack at him and Revy as his two team mates moved on ahead and fought as they went  looking for the way to where ever this place was hiding the way in that the rats were using and something kept nagging at Kaito's mind but he couldn't place it and he wished that he could but there was something wrong and it just totally felt like it was blending together but the way he moved and the way that it felt when he hit things felt weird and wrong. Kaito keeps following his team and Revy as they kept going ahead of him and talking to them but Kaito couldn't seem to under stand them as their words just seemed to blur in his mind and he wondered if maybe he was just tired is what was going on and it wasn't something wrong here.

Kaito kept going and fighting off the things that came at them rather they were small and fluffy or if they were big and fluffy, he would handle it and take them on as they came he had people to protect and a job to finish as fast as he possibly could he was going to do his best to take them on and to find how they were getting in and he was not going to stop until they came for him and pulled him out as he was not going to fail this mission and end up looking dumb but it seemed like they just got stronger and stronger as he went with them, the rats didn't seem to have any give and they felt like he was getting no were like he was being slowed by something and he can see the flickering of the info that his eye shows him but it seems to just be forced away as soon as it showed up for him to see it and he wonders why it is unless it is something that is invisible.

Kaito tapped the side of his head to start his Mana vision and everything is wrong and looks distorted now which is weird, then it dawns on Kaito what he was seeing before was an illusion he had been trapped in one this whole time he looks to were the team mates where and they weren't there but Revy that was by his side was real the rats appearing are strange deformed mounts of flesh and blood and he can now smell how rotten and disgusting this place is they weren't in a building they were in the stomach of a creature and it had lured them deeper into itself so they would willingly walk right into it's stomach to be dissolved and think they were poisoned got a small burn that they treated when in reality they were dying and just kept going. Kaito tells Revy this is a trap and she looked at him and seems to snap out of it.

Revy looked around and can see the place that they are in and how gross it is in Kaito's glowing aura Revy nearly throws up as she sees a human arm on the squishy ground near them Kaito guesses that there is a chance to die that the "rats" might actually be able to harm and kill as they were seen in the Illusion as having fangs and claws but these things look like they have spikes of like hardened skin and it looks quite sharp as well but Kaito figured it was time to get out of here but he knows he has to kill this thing before he does it. He needs to make sure it doesn't kill someone else or trick someone else as well and he goes deeper with Revy staying close to him so not to get lost or reconsumed by the illusion as Kaito seemed to be the guiding light in this darkness as Kaito made his way toward the stomach.

Kaito reaches it by turning himself and Revy invisible by entering the in between of dimensions and he gets past the flesh things as they have no way to see him as they have no eyes and the illusion is what guided the victims to the flesh mounts not the other way around it was a smart magic to have as a lure to get creatures to give themselves as food to the creature but he knows that he needs to make sure not to over do it or he might just end up getting killed or maimed by one of the flesh mounts of death. He reached the stomach and he starts making holes in the lining of the stomach with his combo element dragon magic spells and he makes sure that the thing was not going to be able to ever kill again as it was dying fast and Kaito and Revy go through a portal to the outside and watch as the giant rat looking creature died right there and Kaito took the body and he got nicely paid for it.
