Yuurei

Yuurei was working on office duty, which wasn’t a lot. He had been keeping up with it as a bunch of requests had come throughout the entire North. He was happy to go through all of this, and he wondered what else needed to be approved and denied. While he was doing this, Renji was relaxing on the couch. The Exceed didn’t mind the nap that he was having for the day. The Nephilim could see this and he would only chuckle as he continued doing his job.

While he was doing this though he would whisper something to his lucky coin. If he would take on a job today, he was only that it would be done quickly and swiftly. Of course, that would manifest a knock on the door, which Yuurei would smile at. He would lean back on his chair as he was glad that he would have something to do today.

“Come on in.” He said to the young man behind the door.

The young man would hear this and he would open the door. There he would see that Yuurei was waiting for him and he would walk to him. When he got to him, he would hand him the letter that would be from Mr. Cliff himself. Yuurei could tell from the seal of the letter that he would take it from the man. When that was done, the young man would leave the office and close the door behind him.

Yuurei would open the letter and he would read through it. It was a simple request that he had asked him and it was something that he expected. He would fold the paper and he would put it away. Once he had done that, he would walk over to Renji as he stretched a bit.

“We got some mining to do in Dawn Cliff Mine today.” He said to Renji.

Renji heard this and he would get up from where he was laying.

Renji would stretch a bit as he couldn’t help it. He felt nice when he did this and he would look over at Yuurei as he would climb his friend’s shoulder. When he got on his shoulder he would look at his friend with a smile on his face.

“Let’s be on our way and start mining. That way we can get paid.” He said to Yuurei with a smile on his face.

Yuurei would hear this and he would smile at him as he would walk to the window. He would open the window without hesitating and he would leave out the window and he would stay in the air. While he was in the air he would close the windows and he would start flying to his destination. The two of them would move through it all at such high speed that they were used to it. It wouldn’t take long for Yuurei to get to where they needed to go.

Yuurei

Yuurei would see the Mine from where he was flying. He had a smile on his face as he would start to descend. When he landed on the ground, he kept moving as he would wave to those who had greeted him. He would move around those as he was heading to the entrance to the mine. When he got there, he would see Mr. Cliff and his bodyguards waiting for him. He would approach the group without a problem and he would stop and look at every one. Renji had climbed down when Yuurei had descended and wondered how long this job was going to take for them to finish.

“We’re here Mr. Cliff. Let’s get this started, hand me the equipment so I can go in.” He said to him as he looked at the bodyguards.

Mr. Cliff was happy to hear that he wanted to get the job started right away, so he looked at the guards and they moved forward.

The bodyguards would approach Yuurei and they would hand him his gear. Yuurei would check the pickaxe and he would see that the tool would be perfectly fine for today’s use. The next thing he would go and check was the hard hat. He placed it on his head and would knock on it a few times. Once he felt that it would be safe to use, he would look at the group in front of him.

“Alright time to get your materials.” He said to Mr. Cliff as he would start walking inside.

Renji would follow Yuurei as the two of them walk through the lit path in front of them. The support beams around this place really made this place secure. There were people leaving and they would greet them as they kept moving through the path. They had to go through the two paths so that they knew they were almost at the location to start working.

Yuurei and Renji would continue their walk through the path. It was a nice walk and it was quiet the majority of the time. When they got to the path, Yuurei would take the usual right path and the two of them would make it through the small path without a problem. When they got to the end of it, they would see that this space was all for them. Still, they weren’t going to touch this place for the time being. They could see that the materials here would start to show once again, and soon people would be able to mine. Still, for the time being, they would continue to walk through the path in front of them.

They kept moving as it was quiet and they knew that the miners here were further down. They kept moving around as their pacing was faster than others. It wouldn’t take long, but they would hear the noises, which meant they were close.

They would wave at everybody around them and they would be returned the favor. They didn’t have time to waste though as they kept moving forward. They pushed through the area and enjoyed seeing everybody. They would see that the further they were going the number of people that were around would decrease. That was good because they would be able to work soon.

Yuurei and Renji would soon get to their destination and the two of them would look at each other before Yuurei went to a rocky wall. It was then that he would start hammering it down until the material would come out. He would look at it fall to the ground and he would nod because the job would begin. He would walk over to the next spot and he would do the same thing. While he was doing this, Renji was picking up everything that fell to the ground.

The hunter would continue mining through the area. He enjoyed this and he would make sure that he would go through this for a few hours. He would take things down and he would make sure that Mr. Cliff had enough for his shop for the week. Renji was running around the area with a serious expression on his face. He kept moving and making sure that he was not too far behind Yuurei. It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would come to a finish. He had done enough for Mr. Cliff for the day and he figured that this would be enough. He would look over to Renji as it would seem like he was still picking up materials.

He wouldn’t say anything, but he would look in his friend’s direction. The Exceed would see this and he would pick up the pace. He moved around the place picking up things faster than before.

Renji would finally make his way to the last of the materials on the ground. When he got to Yuurei he had a smile on his face as he was all done. The Seraphim would smile at him as he was glad that Renji finished the job. He looked around and once he saw that they had gotten everything, they would make their way back to the entrance. The two of them would see that Mr. Cliff and his bodyguards were waiting for him.

The requip mage would hand over the equipment he was wearing without a problem. He would look at Mr. Cliff as he would start taking out Yuurei’s reward. Renji would see this and he would open the bag and the materials he collected would fall into the wheelbarrow next to the bodyguard. Once that was done Mr. Cliff would hand over the reward. Yuurei would take the reward and the two of them would head back to the guild.
