Her presence in Marigold was not something that would have been expected, nor for good reason. It was perfect really, the two of them having been able to effectively move through Hargeon and Marigold without significant issue since the incident with the Red Queen, Vyra still fully benefiting from the change in fortunes that had occurred. The Red Queen, she had been the one that had tried to smuggled Vyra across the border of the two districts, having her arrive within Marigold under the guise of attempting to provide her with aid, though in reality simply looking to exploit the situation to the absolute fullest. The Pact of the Dead God, the attempted ritual that the Red Queen sought to take advantage of, the cruel perversion of Magic, a ritual and contract merged into one, an attempt to provide immortality. There were almost an ironic tie-in towards this whole situation, that in her bringing Vyra forth, it would ultimately be Vyra herself who would be the one that would cast her down. Not what she had expected, nor quite what Vyra had even expected at first either. But, that was the nature of things now. The nature of the world that Vyra knew she were in now.

There were other benefits that had come of the whole affair for Vyra, not just that of her own survival, or that of the world that she had more and more come to realize was reality. There were physical rewards, physical gifts that came out of it as well. One of them were the flying creature that travelled with her now, the aberration Zera’thul, a creature that were not quite animal, nor quite anything else. It was a horrifying creature to some degree, but despite that it was something that was resourceful in its own right. Held once upon a time by the Red Queen, just like Vyra, it now found a common theme between it and her, and as such, found itself willing to travel with her, albeit more to the shadows, and it was something that Vyra was more than happy to accommodate. After all, even though she were comfortable enough to traverse through the Southern part of Fiore, she were still a wanted woman. However, that risk also paved the way for the other benefit that had come of Vyra’s conquering of the Red Queen; the network of information that were now available to her. The information, the underworld network of the guild Oracion Seis, the one that she had at one point believed was going to have helped her escape. It turned out instead to be the guild that sought her kidnapping, but now was providing her with the benefit of her escape.

They were utilizing those now. A network of information brokers, of spies, of vendors, of various servicemen who were providing the Oracion Seis guild, also providing Vyra that information now. With her killing of the Red Queen, the guild recognized her as the benefactor of those resources, resources that only a few days before had been used against her. Nearly having cost her her life. Those services had gotten her out of Marigold only a few days before, giving her a brief time to return to Hargeon, to see if the situation was any calmer than it were when she were last in Hargeon, but upon seeing that that were not the case, that things were as bad as they were before, she had come back to Marigold, figuring it a place that she were less-likely to be seen, less likely to be caught. It was logical really; Marigold was busy handling their own affairs, struggling to handle a growing culture war that was becoming more and more physical and violent, they were hardly interested in handling an issue that Rune Knights would have towards an issue that were taking in place in Hargeon, no less relating to a member of Blue Pegasus. A former member like Vyra, there were no reason for them to waste their time.

The duo were there now in Marigold, watching over the latest performance from that of the Theatre, something that were as much a distraction as it were a chance to simply disappear for a time. Few would look for her there, nor would they be able to find someone if she were there. The Theatre were its own entity, with its own rules, its own security, that the people of Marigold, the police forces of Marigold, and the political leaders of Marigold, had no influence towards or over. It worked out perfectly for Vyra then, as she and the Aberration sat above in the high seats, ones that were once upon a time held by the Red Queen. Private, isolated, away from everyone else who may have been looking, or otherwise gazing in her direction. Shrouded by the shadows and the high rise, above the common folk, it was a nice break from the typical situation that she would have found herself in, having to sit with them, stuffed together with little chance to breathe. But as it were now, she had a moment of luxury that were all her own.

And in that, they were able to watch as the madness came about, the incidents of what had happened previous, the chaos of the people beginning to rage against the current political motif that the theatre was trying to sell was only further ruined, only further exacerbated by the rage of people who were tired of the racist chatter. Like before, vegetables were thrown upon the actors, liquids of open cupts being splashed, some of it staining the actors while much either spilled upon those in front or otherwise upon the stage. Madness, chaos, and Vyra could not help but find it all far more enjoyable than that of the whole performance that were going on. She watched on, Zera’thul seeming to also take great delight in it, at times leaning over to see what were happening, some who looked up seeing the faint shadow of the creature looking down below, a hawk watching its prey. And even from her vantage, Vyra could not help but join in, finding the service of the former Oracion Seis member worthwhile, being gifted a higher vantage to throw items. Small bottles, glasses, fruit, whatever she would have sought to throw, it were at her disposal. While the attention was focused below upon the common stage, she threw her treats every so often, the distance causing far more damage upon the stage and further prompting the crowd below into a frenzy.

Madness, that was the show that she were far more interested in watching, and it was certainly a delightful one.
