Kaito got word of another place that was in need in the north to help them clear out a few stores that were being plagued by rats and other creatures and Kaito wondered what was going to happen from here. He had gathered all the pages from the country and he wondered if there was more that he must do. He goes to meet the client that looked at him and nearly screamed thinking that he was some kind of robber or home intruder and Kaito got a laugh out of that as it had been a long time since he had got that kind of reaction from someone that he had taken a request from and he wondered if there was a lot that could be done about it and he really doesn't see a way to get around that as he is still going to just wear the mask but the woman calms down a bit and while she sips on a glass of wine and she gives him more details and locations where he is needed to go.

Kaito wondered if he was that scary that the woman had to drink to even speak to him and that was a pain in his ass if everyone started to need to drink around him it would just be annoying to deal with drunks and those unable to actually fully tell him what he was going to need to know and that was greatly annoying on his part to have a hundred more pieces to have to put together to get through quests like this one that should be easy enough to get get info then just move on to the actual place but this woman for some strange reason was scared of him maybe she had thought he was a minion of the dark raiders that had shown up and attacked them in this country. He guessed he just needed to get over it and to get his stuff together and make his way to the place with the keys that she had given him.

Kaito felt this was probably going to be a long one as there was more than one building to clear which means more than one sewer entrance that he was going to have to close up and more then one nest probably to find and destroy, but he thinks that he will have this done pretty swiftly and getting all the places cleared is going to be the bigger thing to get done as well as destroy bait spot people have made to lure the rats to them if there are any but as the woman seemed a coward he doubted that she would go around making enemies on purpose and he keeps walking reaching the door and it seemed he had a guest as well a Lich woman clad in armor and a mask that looks like a strange bird that was ice white and she looked like she was ready to help him to do this large clean up job. Revy was happy to see that she decided to show up to help him.

Kaito opened the door to the place and the rats came running out of the place at them and the lich woman cleaves through them and smiles under her mask as she leads the way in as Kaito casts spells to keep her out of danger and let her keep doing her thing as smoothly as she can in this tiny store she didn't care as long as she got to cause some death to those that Kaito saw fit to point her too. She knows that she probably owed Yuurei but she doesn't think that he needs it but Kaito seemed to need as much help as he can get from as many people as he can get it going in the same way as he was going and Kaito is keeping his aim and firing at the rats so he doesn't get in her way and she is surprised by how accurate he was with his finger beams and she wondered if maybe he isn't as helpless as she thought he was.

They neared the basement and the woman called to him and he rushed and touched her armor as a giant claw went through the door and through her but didn't hurt her and she looked at Kaito who had moved to her and made it so the attack phased through her and she got red as she had let her guard down and Kaito had to hurry to protect her and Revy giggles. "You really should pay attention ma'am you are lucky that Kaito was fast enough to save you as that claw looks nasty." The lich woman looked like she wanted to re die from the exceed taunting her for letting her guard down in front of him like this. Kaito says this isn't the time for this and they need to hurry up and clean this place out and then start on the others if they can at least get a start on them.

Kaito lets go of the woman that bashes through the door and fights her way down the stairs and toward the giant rat that had aimed to take her back out and she starts yelling and the sound seemed to intimate the rats that were smaller then the big one, but the big one was attracted to the sound of the warriors yell and she was coming for him and she was not going to stop till she had chopped his head off and she was going to have it mounted on her wall and she was going to keep doing her best while she can if she truly can do that but she thinks she was gonna be over doing it if she did that. She takes it down pretty easily and Kaito checked the hole in the wall for any signs of bait being around and they found none around and he was not sure if this was random or not but he closed up the hole in the wall then gathers them to go and head for the next one.
