She stared at both the Grim Reaper and her mother to try to figure out herself. Who this is? She looked at the grim Reaper and then heard her mother start to explain everything. But before she could even start, she introduced the Shinigami. And who he really was. His real name was grim. He was known as the Grim Reaper in many areas as well as among his friends. Apparently, he was the grim Reaper of Joya. There were about four to five grim reapers, but they all have their own little title. Each Country had its own main grim Reaper, who all followed one boss. All knew him as the ultimate death. She then said that this man was her father. Her, as in Quilla. As she was really confused, and she had many questions but not any answers to her current questions. Getting her answers. She needed it.

She started to explain that she met her adopted father, who enjoyed it when she was traveling around. They have been best friends since they were teenagers. She knew that her adopted father had feelings for her. She couldn't return the feelings. She had feelings for someone else. That is what she said as she turned to look at the grim reaper. Her arms wrapped around his arm as she wanted to hold him close. They were what she had heard about, 'in love'. Was this love? Her eyes looked between them as she was unsure how to feel. Her father was death, not the lord or death, but pretty close as he was second in command. That's how she saw it. Her mother continued the story as she silently listened. She continued about the adventures that she went on with her adopted father. Finally, they were very adventurous and fun. Cool.

But where did she come in? She still hasn't heard how she was born and why she was given away. But then she remembered that she was given away because she couldn't come to this world. So why now? Why was she able to be in here? She asked this and her answer was that she can come in here due to being related to him and her but not for long. Solid understanding of all of this as she just listened now to the rest of the story. She was named after the goddess of his country. The other half of him was the reason why he was the grim Reaper, a Shinigami. Her mother was a minstrel and Joyan. After she was finished telling her story, she just stood there quietly as she was thinking about everything. She was just told. It was her turn now to introduce her to her story.

She explained that she was being raised as a priestess for Joya. She was known throughout the City. She did not want to be known throughout the country, so her City made a shush rule all about it. She was also known as someone who fought in the wars through their countrymen. Some called her a Princess, but she was really just a priestess, a warrior of her own kind. She made a friend even and told them her name. Her mother was glad to hear how her adoptive father treated her well. That was till she heard about him branding her after selling her at the age where she was to find a husband. She wasn't allowed any type of romance, not even a crush as she did have one secretly. The Prince she met long ago when she was a child as he was too. What was his name?

Quilla explained that she ran away and traveled as her mother did. She stopped at a Country called Fiore and met many great people. She was also witnessing emotions she has never felt before and told her about Kaito, Ragnar and Jin as she felt differently about each one. All she could see was her mother smiling gently as her red eyes gazed at her brown ones. She explained that the feelings she felt were indeed all different; Kaito seemed like a good friend, Ragnar like a protective brother, and Jin, was something else. She warned that if she continued to be around Jin, she would end up like her. Quilla was confused about this as her mother explained that she was a demon spirit, a Hannya. She couldn't control her own demons anymore and had to stick by her lover for all eternity or else she would be released.

What Quilla described to her seemed to like how she felt about Grim, possessive and an inner self full of rage and jealousy. She informed her daughter that was pretty much what a Hannya was. Once she feels connected with someone or even with their own friends, they end up dying in front of their eyes; from their own hands or someone else's. Her advice for Quilla was to either accept who she really was or to stay away from Jin who will probably not accept her. The only reason Grim could was due to what he really was. She watched her mother's eyes gaze at Grim as they waited for him to finally speak up. They could hear him chuckle darkly as he patted Quilla's head. He spoke about how proud he was and that she has done more in such a short time between all the wars and her duties.

He explained to Quilla that he doesn't remember much of the past as there was too much history to cover, expressing that he was pretty old in terms of dead years. Did they not age here? She had so many questions, but he then told her that he noticed she only had a simple sword as a weapon. Quilla told him that she hasn't found anything she liked nor preferred. That made a question on what he used if it really was a scythe. Her mother giggled as he summoned his scythe. It was a beautiful red with a demonic structure. It looked really cool and wondered if she could give it a swing or two. As any proud father, he gave it to her to try it out and that was when she practiced swinging. It felt light to her with her strength as she was able to one hand it but was easier to just use both of her hands.

Her heart was beating as she used it and then saw that it disappeared into his hands instead. He was happy to see that she was into that type of weapon. He twirled it around and he then made it disappear. Escorted her as he was showing her a location. This location had a lot of obstacles and wanted what and why. He started to explain that if she could complete it. And beat him. She could have his scythe. He wanted her to go and practice and prepare herself first as it was going to be a long journey. She nodded her head in acceptance as he then wondered how to prepare herself for that. She saw that it had to do with a lot of strength, endurance, constitution and speed. Some of it might also have to do with intelligence. She gazed at her father and wondered how hard it was going to be to even fight him. He was able to defeat those things that she could not defeat as all her magic sand abilities phase through them. So, will she even be able to beat him?
