Tempris sat at the rivers edge letting her feet rest in the river. She had her gear on her with her sword and shield sitting behind her and her mask resting on top of her head and not over her face. She wore a sleeveless shirt with a dark blue skirt. There were no symbols on this as she was not really working. This lazy life without drive was so hard to resist. She did not even have her pony tail up, instead opting to let her hair hang completely down with the band used to tie her hair strapped to her wrist.

Last week, she was fighting pirates and now she was in a forest. It was crazy how much traveling she has been doing. She raised her shirt to see the bottom of the scar from the dragon. It was never going to go away. The truth that she was not as strong as she thought, the punishment for her hubris. With a heavy sigh, she dropped her shirt and kicked some water into the air.

Kaito walked along the river his exceed partner looking in the water as the walked she hopes they will stop and fish but she knows Kaito is just out for exploring today he isn't looking for any real stopping today just relaxing and enjoying the wanders life as he is free from the east for awhile, he hears water splash and he looks across the water and sees Tempris but he doesn't know it is Tempris at that moment. "Nice day huh?" His voice is kind and confident with a smile on his face. He sees the sword the young zealot had been swinging around last time he had met her so he has a guess at who it was, but she looked taller and a little down unlike the near unfaultable confidence that she showed last time.

Revy looks at the woman across the river then looks to Kai. "Why is their a little girl over there all alone?" Kai laughs softly and kneels down to Revy's level and looks her in the eyes. "From the weapon and look I think that is Tempris so don't let her hear you call her a little girl, she has her pride." Revy nods and is unsure what kind of woman Tempris is, but if Kai told her to not say something around her it is for a good reason, she starts waving at the girl with a smile.

Tempris took a deep breath. She did not want to look up. The voice was familiar and did not spark the flame inside of her so she knew it was not Ika. At the same time, It did motivate her to do her mission so it could not be someone with a high profile like Odin. She looked up and saw a man with a small cat with him. It did not ring any bells. So he was a stranger right? So why did she feel like she knew him.

"I suppose... if your in too forest, rivers, ect." She kicked some more water into the air, "I feel like we met before Stranger. Perhaps I have given prayer for an event... or provided protection? Though, I am sure I never seen the small one." Tempris did her best to smile but she did not have the mental fortitude to keep it up and her face melted back to her typical neutral expression.

He figures she doesn't remember him which he doesn't really surprise him as he was a D rank no body the last time she had seen him. He wondered if he should just walk off and not bother this woman again cause he guesses he is better left off forgotten he just doesn't need to be a problem. But he guesses he should talk to her maybe just not tell her who he is just that he might know her.

He makes a portal and he walks through it and he appears behind her through a different portal. "Maybe we had met in a different life and the small one is still fresher to the exploring life so I am not surprised that you haven't met her." He smiles as he is unarmed currently so the girl shouldn't really see him as any kind of threat to her unless she sees his magic as a form of a threat which it really could be.

The cat pops through the portal right behind him and smiles. "Hello there ma'am why are you out here alone?" She askes because she is a little worried for the girl, that she sees in front of her looking like she is sad and lost in her thoughts.

"Guess you do vaguely remember me. " He smiles and he takes a seat next to her. He looks at her and he laughs. "Seems you have grown since I last saw you, but it seems you still haven’t found your place. " He lays back on the ground and he looks at the sky with a smile. "Yes I am still cursed. " he figured he would beat her to the question in case it clicked with Tempris.

Revy walks over and looks at the woman. " Are you friends with Kai ? I am Revy by the way I am his exceed partner." She stands with her hands on her hips proud and smiles. She walks closer to the woman and puts a paw out toward her like she is looking to shake Tempris’s hand with her paw. " I wish to be your friend as well and you look so sad."

Kaito laughs softly at how bluntly the red exceed had said that to the poor girl, even if she wanted to be friends she shouldn’t have pointed it out so bluntly to her, it might be like a slap to her face and might have shifted how welcoming Tempris might be to them being near or remeeting her after so long of not meeting after she had said stuff about meeting again.

"Fate is funny like that." Tempris returned the smile but kept her eyes on her feet in the water looking for something to float along so she could kick it. "Found my place? I wonder if there is a place in this cold world for me." She moved her hand to her stomach with her scar hidden under her shirt. When he man mentioned his curse, she chuckled. "I can always give you a baptism... that should fix your curse issues."

"Friends... I wonder if he would want to be friends with me. After all, I don't have a good track record with them. Maybe I'm cursed ahah." Tempris did not smile as the different people that disappeared in her life flickered through her cold memories. When the cat creature offered to be her friends, the girl sighed and held out her hand as if offering to shake hands. If her hand was taken, she would speak in a gentle quiet voice. "I'm Tempris, best remember it if we are to be this thing called friends."

The old Tempris would probably be to energetic to contain herself in this environment but this Tempris as too caught up in the events of the pass couple years to pull up that fiery spirit. Even if she did, she was a bit different now. She was stronger and the strong don't get manipulated by the weak so easily.

"To be honest I doubt a baptism would cure me, but if it will help get that frown off of your face, I could give it a try." His tone is even, calm and kind. He hadn't come over to start a fight with the girl but she seemed far less happy and spirited then he had last met her.

Hearing her say the line about him not wanting to be friends with her, he raised his gloved hand and flicked the back of her head gently, his voice now sounds slightly annoyed at her comment. "I have always sought to be friends you, just I never got the chance to meet you again after we last met." He hopes she doesn't reach for her sword to smite him. It isn't like he is really unarmed himself if she did try to use her sword.

Revy takes her hand and firmly shakes it and she smiles at Tempris. "No worries I will remember your name miss Tempris." Her voice is cheery and very friendly so the woman knows she is being honest and true about wanting to be friends with her and she hopes Kaito doesn't get into a fight with Tempris here.

Tempris smiled. "Then I'll hold you to it." Now was not going to be a good time. In truth the reason she was hanging out by the river was because she knew she was going to have to travel to the east. Tensions were growing high and she wanted to relax for a brief period before she had to arm herself again. It getting close to being her time to leave though she did really enjoy seeing this stranger again. "What a blessing. Thank you sir. I pray that we see each other much more than we had in the pass couple of years." She also hoped she was not going to have to see him on the battlefield but she would keep that one to herself. She did not want to temp fate anymore than she had already.

"Thank you little one as well. I think I'm feeling much better now that I have made a new friend. I promise to remember your name a lot better than I have for your friend."

With that Tempris put her boots back on and picked up her gear. "I wish i could stay, but... fate calls me. Though if you would like to join me. I'm heading east."

With that, Tempris gave a small prayer and walked off. Her next stop was the east. (exit)

Kai watches her leave and he yawns, he guesses he will not bother having meetings with this woman again as she always just Makes the meeting or remeeting any fun just a short no real substance meetings to just take off. He is glad he isn’t in a guild with her and he will not seek to join a guild she is known to be in or joining. He is fine to call her a friend but some people are just gonna stay there as friends, that he may or may not speak to again. He leans back and kicks his feet up and kips up to his feet.

Revy is confused to why this woman just took off like that, it was weird and really out of no where for no reason. Revy looks at Kai who can only just shrug cause he has no idea to what reason she just took off like that. He wishes he knew anything of this woman or she had at least explained to why she was just disappearing to once again leave Kai questioning why he had bothered to stop and talk at all. He probably should have just kept going and not stopped for it, and should have just left that girl sulking kicking her feet in the water. He should have just left it in the past when the first attempt failed as his master taught him, don’t waste time on people that can’t take the time to be there.
