After becoming acquainted with the landscape of Marigold he had set out a message to Oak. A letter to those who were around the guild hall, in it was an invitation to drop by Marigold to 'hang and chill'. He was trying to emulate being a teenager due to his ongoing mid life crisis. Alcohol was a vice that had made its entrance into his life once more, despite almost being forty years old - Noel enjoyed the idea of him being twenty years old again. While physically he looked the part, mentally a darker story remained.

In Marigold, there was a certain tavern that the Advent World wizard had been staying at. So in the morning such as this one, he'd be usually sleeping inside his room. The spot he preferred to sleep at was the coziest place in the entire room, namely the space under the bed. Ever since the government dubbed him as a 'Hazard', he'd grown more paranoid as of late. Thus, the place that provided him the best rest was in a dark place. Some mysterious fool in Baska had convinced Noel that there was a gestapo under the rule of the royals, ready to strike upon threats present in the kingdom at night. Normally, he'd be one to be very skeptical of this, but since it pandered towards government paranoia it had struck a chord within him. Rolling out from under his bed, and over the many empty bottles of beer that were being knocked over in the process the male rose to his feet. He'd whip his hair back, and step over the bottles to wash his face in the sink that was also in the same room.

Upon looking at the reflection into the mirror, he'd throw out both finger pistols at the mirror and arguably comically say, "You're looking minty fresh." Truth was, he had huge bags under his face, his hair was all over the place and a small stubble had formed. After a shower, a shave and a coffee Noel begun to think about what to have for breakfast. The inns catering had closed since it was past ten AM. It wasn't like he had any ingredients in his room. He had a few options, but they had to wait. Noel had received word that there might be travelers from Advent World stopping by. The inns pockets were getting quite lined as Kenzo and himself had reserved most of the available rooms. And the barman talked to a lot of people, so he'd occasionally talk about conversations he'd overheard about Advent World. This is how Noel knew that there'd be most likely another guild member arriving in town shortly. Heading into town, Noel wore his usual attire - skipping the helmet for this occasion. He sat on his horse, Mustang, as Jet his pet lemur accompanied the wizard by flying around him. He ironically kept people away from getting too close to the horse as he traversed through the population.

His face was quite known as well, that passively kept people away from him. When Noel arrived around the town square, he hitch Mustangs lead to a rail. With both arms crossed, he'd look around - curiously trailing his eyes over the public in front of his horse.
