7 AM. The sun was just beginning to awaken from its slumber, meanwhile, Vali had been up all night. Here, in the coliseum where he had fought his best friend, he stood again. This time he was waiting for someone else, a friend so to speak. Last night after his encounter with a white-headed mage, he learned some amazing things about himself. However, much was still unknown. So, Vali had found a way to Contact Konstantin in order to meet him here at this very time. The young Titan felt like he was going insane with his new discovery and was certain that Kon was the right person to learn more from. Before coming to Crocus they were supposed to be training, but in between Konstantin had gotten sick. Hopefully this time Vali could actually grow. The dark-skinned Viking rubbed his eyes. They were sore but it was because he had been using them all last night. He was a new man it felt like... If his theory was right then the gods have blessed him with a sacred technique.

Kon

Facing an unknown but powerful threat, Kon had doubled down on his efforts to restore his broken frame. Thanks to generous benefactors and the advanced alchemists in Crocus he was able to replace his lost right arm. This prosthetic behaved as though it were his original, still feeling hot, cold from the metallic arm, its core made from his powerful Stormcaller broken down into its smaller parts. Binding the prosthetic was a painful operation reopening his injuries and pulling nerves into the structure itself. This discomfort had remained long after the surgery alongside the recovery of his breathing problems, he was concerned about his condition for the upcoming mission. For now, Kon would distract himself from those thoughts instead joining Vali in the Domus Flau.

Why did he want to meet Kon? Why were they meeting at this hour was another mystery. Those questions would hopefully be asked when he got to the fighting arena. The decision on the location was optimal for Kon as he needed to test out his arm for the battles to come. Kon didn’t revel in the pain and suffering of his enemies rather seeing them as obstacles to his goal. That was what separates him and his comrades, he wanted to complete their shared mission with minimal casualties. Because of this distinction Kon wanted to be doubly sure that he had a firm understanding of his existing abilities and use of his augmented prosthetic.

Entering the arena, Kon could already see the ground spattered in blood matching the red sky as the sun began to rise. Drawing back his hood, Kon began his search within the arena looking for Vali’s presence through his millennium eye. Finally spotting and reaching Vali, he greeted the foreigner before extending his right hand as he did so. “It’s good to see you again, sorry about the lackluster spar between us earlier.” Raising a solemn smile he continued. “Was this why you wanted to meet?, So we could fight once more?”

Starting from the moment the spell is cast, the user may roll a dice (including the first time this spell is cast). They may not edit the number ranges after the rolling begins. Based on whose name it rolled on, thunder will strike down from the skies randomly and hit that person, dealing S-Rank lightning magical damage. This is instantaneous and cannot be dodged. However, it does not go through armour or shields.

Finally, Kon had arrived. Vali could smell him just before he revealed himself in the Arena. It was refreshing to see Kon, someone who's mind was well tamed and unburdened with the things Vali was burdened with. Vali's fingers twitched with a smirk wicked enough to convince anybody that he was some sort of monster. Truly though, he was on his way to godliness. Kon was the same- if not more in tune with the spiritual world. As Kon approached him he realized something different. The man no longer had his bow, unlike the first and second time he had encountered him. And then, he extended his hand and revealed his weird-looking arm. The young Jarl raised an eyebrow. It seemed that they had both been working on themselves on the way or another.

The Titan extended his hand to grab ahold of Kon's. The Nephilim apologized for their last encounter then asked Val why he summoned him but Vali was just a little bit distracted by his new arm. "It is fine, you are an old man and old men get sick." He joked. "But, I have discovered something about myself." He began with a slight smirk. "I have a new power..." He began before his eyes drifted into the distance. He picked up his hand before placing it under his chin, thinking. "Although I'm not sure how I acquired it... I do know that now I am capable of using any spell once I witness it." he looked up at Konstantin. "So I brought you here in hopes that you'd show me a spell or two-" Then suddenly Vali passed out.

Kon

Having drawn closer to the foreigner, Kon was able to get a finer detail of the unusual object that was now affixed to Vali’s forehead, perplexed about what seemed to be an eye, he blinked slow at it. As he did so Vali made a remark about his age, prompting a slight chuckle from Kon. “I’m not that old you know…” This comment lead back to Vali who revealed that he had somehow acquired the ability to copy spells he had seen. It appeared he had summoned Kon in the hopes to learn his own spells, something to which Kon was hesitant about. They were something precious to him and hard to master. His fears were put to rest when his comrade seemingly out of nowhere passed out. An uncharacteristic trait for a man such as Vali. Concerned for the well-being of the man, Kon pulled up his friend as he began to fall to the group before throwing him onto his shoulder. His weight was manageable for the blessed human, feeling as heavy as a sack of potatoes. Now carrying Vali, he made his way to the Arena’s hospital in the hopes that a doctor there would be able to see him before departing from the area.
