Ragnar got the word that another tournament was starting in the city he was in, which was another chance for him to gain some more money after buying the worlds most expensive belt from some guy. Apparently he stole this from another universe or something and brought it to this one? Ragnar didn't really understand nor did he really care all the much, it was going to help him hopefully make more money on his day to day adventures and quests and regain all of it's lost value. Another thing was that his hammer was stolen, taken from his room while he was out and about and no one seemed to have seen who took it. Maybe that guy he bought the belt from would know where it is, but that doesn't really matter at this point. Ragnar had a tournament to go win, and he would just have to do it with his fists.

Ragnar walked out of the hotel he was staying in, fully armored the blood red, a cloak of fur being held on by spikes, and the spikes topped with skulls, making him stand out more then his normal height. Ragnar turn his head and whistled into the air, and he knew that his mount was coming when he heard the sound of people screaming and the sound of buildings breaking. Eventually his mount did manage to show up successfully,

Ragnar's mount was a beast that was as big and wide as a water buffalo while being far heavier. The horn on his head was a single one, forming a T shape on it, though on top of the flat of that T were large spikes, where it appeared skulls had been placed. It's appeared to be closer to a massive dog in shape and size, it's mouth appeared to be big enough to bite a man's head off with room to spare, its teeth looked like short swords. From a distance color of the fur of the beast looked a dirty brass only as it got closer would people realize that it was not the color of the fur, it was armor. Sheets of Brass covered armor covered every inch of this beast and it didn't seem to slow it down at all in any way. The chains that were used to 'control' this beast was attached to a massive spiked collar around its neck. As the beast laid down next to it's master, small gaps in the armor showed something possibly more terrible. This beast had no skin, it appeared to be made of machinery and parts mixed together with a living beast.

As he rode through the town, he normally went down the same path and most people at this point knew well enough that they should just stay out of the center of the road if possible on the paths that Ragnar uses. Today was one of those good days where everyone seemed to remember, maybe it was because there was a Tournament today. Ragnar quickly managed to get to the Tournament without any issues, even the food carts were out of the way, before moving back to their proper place when Ragnar rode by. Ragnar managed to get to the Tournament, throwing himself off the saddle, before his mount went running off into the distance and disappearing into the distance, Ragnar this time without his hammer did feel out of place but he was just going to have to deal with it for now, it wasn't like he was in any real danger anyway.

Luckily for Ragnar but unlikely for the town, this city had two major tournaments within the same month. That means that Ragnar did leave his hotel far more often, but this town has dealt with people much more powerful and scary then Ragnar was so dealing with someone like him wasn't that hard but it was still a pain for the average person. As Ragnar arrived to the location, he got off his mount before turning slapping the metal side of the beast and then it roared and rode out of the city. It would come when Ragnar was called, but right now Ragnar had to focus on the people he was about to fight on this. Ragnar got into the building and looked for where he needed to sign up for the tournament, and not to much surprise when he showed up some people decided that it was time to bow out and leave the contest, which was most likely the best choice for them. While most of the  people would not kill their opponent, Ragnar wasn't one of those people

As Ragnar waiting, his back up against a nearby wall he couldn't help but think about the people that were watching him, and he knew that some of them would most likely try and kill him back, through he wasn't super worried about that. Even though he didn't have a weapon, he would have to find a new one. Maybe he could use a spear in the future.. spears are well known to being very effective weapons due to their range and ability to be flexible in their movements. Ragnar only been using an axe for most of his adult life, but that shouldn't matter as he was trained in the use of a spear way back when he was a child. Maybe he could do sword and shield, that might be useful but sadly that wasn't going to be effective against mages with their area of effect spells but that wasn't a super big issue at this point in time. Ragnar eventually got the call that it was his turn on the fighting block.

Ragnar eventually made his way into the center of the area, and some of the people booed at Ragnar while some cheered because they knew they would be seeing a murder today. The person standing there today was a man with a pair of knuckle dusters, but otherwise looked totally normal fighter. He didn't seem to fully understand that he was fighting Ragnar, but he also seemed like he wouldn't be worried either way. As he put his fist up in a boxing stance, Ragnar walked up to him with his arms down as he attempted to end this fight quickly. Ragnar was surprised that when the punch came it didn't hit his armor, instead he felt it directly in his chest. Ragnar was lucky that his opponent wasn't as strong as he was otherwise that might have killed him.With a quick jump back Ragnar had to quickly reassess the situation was in.

Ragnar didn't have much time to think as the boxer followed him back up and quickly tried to punch again, Ragnar this time making an effort to dodge and not get hit this time around. This went on for several minutes before the guy eventually got cocky and didn't pull his arm back instantly. Ragnar took the opportunity to relieve that man of his arm by ripping it off his body. Ragnar then proceeded to beat the man to death with his own arm, turning both the arm and the man into a bloody mess on the floor. Once that was done and taken care of, Ragnar threw the stump off the arena floor and then walked off to get his wounds checked out. The rest of the fights ended up in much the same way, with Ragnar playing defensively now because he was worried about getting punished and once his opponent made a mistake, Ragnar would remove a part of their body and beat them to death with it.
