Lumikki sauntered down lazily to the quest board to investigate what there was new to do. Finding that she was hardly in a mood to kill any more rats or even explore the depths of a cave.

As she glanced at the board she would find something that caught her eye, to the point she somewhat snorted a laugh before reaching for it. Trygve one of her flock flew over to the board and landed. He looked over to the Daemon. “What is it looking like today Miss Lumi?” He has inquired. Trygve was the raven that followed Lumi first and for the longest. He was note quite used to being heard and understood so he was still figuring out who he was. How he had wished to express himself to her. Lumikki nor the ravens could understand the charm she had over them. Though none seemed to mind the shift in their norm. Flocking to her became as pleasing to them as it was for her to bask in their company.

Trygve himself found he gained a sense of purpose and kinship. Enjoying the pride he would feel for being her first raven and the one to speak with the girl first.

”Seems I’ve been wanted personally”. Lumikki pulled down the quest slip that happened to have her name written within it. She skimmed it over until it made sense to her as to why she was desired for this job. And then it hit, this was from the Parodia village. Some place within the Worth Woodsea that she “assisted before in agreements. She broke out into a laugh as she never thought to hear from them again. At least now like this. She looked over the request on the quest slip one more time. It would seem Atticus Spindal had wanted help in creating a deal himself. Lumikki wondered if he desired her particular skills for a reason.

”Trygve, can ye give me a report on things within Parodia village.”

The raven happily ruffled his feathers before flying off for the task. Lumikki herself wandering back up to her dorm to prepare for her trip to see an old friend.

Lumikki slipped on her Plumage. The dress already held her stored within its void and so she hardly needed to waste any time packing anymore. Though she still had a habit to look back and see if there was anything she was leaving behind. Lumi didn't mind it, it brought her peace of mind. She stepped onto her window sill and dipped forward. Black feathers surrounding her until she was out of sight. Leaving only a raven within the cluster that flew from the feather storm.

She darted her way toward Parodia village, curious as to that Atticus had wanted. Half way into her flight, she saw her raven Trygve reapproaching. He sounded as if he was Croaking happily toward her, assuming that he brought her back some insight.

"There you are Freyja, I'm happy to catch you on the way here." He circled the sky to fly beside her.

“From what the others of the flock have been saying is that the village has been struggling with food. Most of their attempts to plant and prepare have been met with blight. That’s all of what we know of note.”

Lumikki thought the news over. Figuring that the call is to help fix this some how. “Aye, thank ye Trygve.”

The pair made their way for the village. Lumikki was enjoying the feeling of flying again with another pair. Ravens were the kind of bird that tend to fly in flocks. Her unkindness was fairly rare. It make her love every single one of the ravens to follow her all the more. And one thing that felt unmatched as flying beside them.

She showed a lot of affections to them often. They knew she loved them as much as they were charmed with her. It was a mutual enjoyment of being along side the other.

The finally made it for the village, only to be greeted with a few ravens that already lived there. “She coooomes.” said one. “Yes, yes.” said another.

Lumi perched among them. “Greetings. Do any of ye know where Atticus is?”

“Oh we do, we kept an eye on him” the raven flew off taking the lead and Lumi would follow. Deep within the village by one of the houses she remembered him frequenting, the raven implied he was inside. The perched just outside to wait for his eventual parting. Not knowing quite how long he was yet to be.

”He comes here often. It’s been said this is the house of their priest. From what we gather, the man is convinced his village is cursed. Probably is, from what we see everything planted never grows. The seeds just sit in the ground sleeping. Even when do pick some off for a snack, they taste terrible. The man’s been frantic since.”

“Hardly a surprise why he thought I could help. Prob needs me to “convince” another village to help.”

In a bit more time, a man exits the house. Lumi remembered him to be Atticus. She called out to him before flying over and shifting to her Daemon form. Hoping that calling for him could the surprise, but his face still went white all the same and she let him take his time to recover. In the mean time she pulled the quest slip from the void and held it out for him to clearly see.

“I’m sure ye barely got ta see me from last time but ye did happen to note me name when I sent for the bandits to be cleaned out. Save to say, I’ve come to the call and me ravens hint to me what the problem ye have is, though I’m sure ye don’t care to talk of it on the open. Where would ye rather discuss this?”

When he was finally recovered from his freight, his face settled on to an expression of unimpressed. Nodding to her the direction he had wish for her to go. She followed him and so had the ravens. When they got to the structure he intended for, he knocked the door in a series of taps she assumed was a code. She looked at the raven that greeted her to the town.



“It’s fine. This is another place he frequents for meetings.” She nodded to him as her response and both ravens would fly to her shoulders as she entered. The man who opened the door would shut it as soon as she entered and she would find Atticus sitting at a table to the back pouring himself a drink.

”You say a bird told you what I’ve called you for…” He said it so condescendingly. Lumi scoffed at him herself. Taking a chair of her own and sitting down. Reaching for a cup and pouring a drink of her own. Whisky wasn’t her preference but a drink was a drink. She chilled it before knocking it all back and slamming the cup to the table.

She deeply exhaled before she entertained talking. ”Aye none of yer seeds are growing are they. Let’s that’s what they told me, I assume that means ye want me to demand a village grant ye the solution.”

The man for a moment looked haunted again but rushed his drink down himself. It was clear this problem was taking its toll. Apart from the fact he even bothered to call for her. She sighed.

“What’s the village and what’s the plan?”

He finally looked back at her after he regained some of his composure. He was working to keep the desperation out of his voice but it was clear how much he cared.

“Yes,yes. I need you to head over Sunflower village and see if they find it within themselves to spare some of their supply. I myself can’t let anyone here know about the shortage.” He sighed. “There’s another thing. Some of my men is under the suspicion that we must of angered a spirit to cause this. I can’t say for sure but our prayers aren’t being answered. There’s a point just outside the village that I need you to check…. That would be all.”

Lumikki laughed at his brazenness but she took this for how he is. He meant well for his people and that was important. Even if this is how he found the need to speak.

”I think I know where he’s talking about. Me and all the other ravens have been avoiding it for a while now. Something about it feels off….” She ruffled her feathers at the mention of it.

Lumi got up from her seat. “The investigation on the disturbance is going ta cost ye more. So note that when ye pay me for me work.”

“Hmpt of course it would. Very well, consider it done as long as you, yourself deliver on your end.” She chuckles. “Consider it done.”

She walked out of the house, the ravens on her shoulders left giving her the space to shift. She turn to a raven herself and head out. The raven of the village leading her to the spot that was mentioned. ”He was quite rude wasn’t he? I can’t say I appreciate the attitude of someone asking my Frejya of a favor.”

“It’s just how he is, and I can’t say he likes me. We’ve met before when he was handling shady affairs and I put him in a tight spot. He protects the village though, and that’s what I’ll respect.”

”If it’s what my Lumi insists then I guess it’s fine. I still don’t forgive him though”

When Lumi found herself getting close, she could feel the tension in the air. It both excited and unnerved her.

“It’s just down there, this is as far as I’d like to go if you don’t mind.” She pointed the way for Lumi before flying back. Lumi gave her thanks and flew down. The tension in the air felt like it could choke you, so there just had to be something there. This are in itself was chard and destroyed. A fire ravage the area. It was a sad sight to see.

As she landed in the area she could feel the disturbance. It was feeding into the Obscura and vice versa.

”Why do come Daemon? Do wish to destroy what’s left of me? I won’t make that easy….”

”I have no interest in that mate, only came to see what was happening and I didn’t expect ye. Are ye the one cursing the village and spooking me ravens for?

”What do you have with the village that makes you confront me? They sided with the bandits, they could suffer what they get. This has nothing to do with you.”

Lumi shifted to a Daemon and looked around for the source of the voice. Settling on a wisp she found amongst the chard trees. The voice was deep, serious, and somber. She felt the husks of trees as she walked over to the wisps. Trygve perching nearby.

She kept looking around as she walked. Sad and disappointed as what has happened. The dark in her was swelling in her anger, she saw enough of fires and their damage when Chaos Eclipse had invaded. She did not care to see more.
