Étaoin quickly moved more away from the centre of the room, when they heard Kurisa yell once more, feeling the trembles and the tremors from heavy paced footsteps of the minotaur that was following them. Everything after that one yell from Kurisa happened so fast. They were pulled from the minotaurs runway, then they had to scramble away from the area they were pulled too, so they could evade the sudden chaos that came from beneath them in the form of two more minotaurs. The previous one, defeated in the process, whilst the two new ones stood in front of the group, asymmetrically, and confusingly so. ‘So… The big one is the younger and the small one is the elder? Huh?’ Nodding to themselves as Étaoin processed this information quietly.

Étaoin snapped their head towards Ko, as he became even more enraged than he seemed to be when he had joined them in this room, only to be graced by the red beast, aiming a fireball at the two opponents before them all. Dodging just in time, Éta found themselves leaning against the wall, coughing from another bout of dust getting into their lungs from that attack, which settled over the dust from the chaotic entrance of the brothers blasting themselves through the floor they stood on, a few seconds ago. “Jesus Ko!” Shoving themselves from the wall, they threw a glare towards the man, before sighing and turning back to concentrate on the minotaurs. Honestly Étaoin probably wasn’t going to be much help anyway, they weren’t the best when it came to fighting. It also did not help when they overheard Xandra scream something about the smaller one being not what he seemed. “Brilliant.” Grumbling, Étaoin glanced towards Kurisa wondering what the woman was going to do as well.

Étaoin knew only two spells, but they really didn’t know how useful they would be towards this pair of brothers, but it was better to try than do nothing at all right? Taking a deep breath, swiftly moving away from Kurisa just in case the women did something like what she had done earlier on to the other minotaurs, Étaoin raised their hand seeing that they had become a little more closer to the smaller minotaur who was nearer to Xandra than anyone. The blue circle shimmered on the back of their hand, praying that it would hopefully reach this brother, taking a step, Eta swiped their arm towards the area Xandra was in, before a lash of blue raced towards the older brother, who seemed to just stand there, just to slightly be nudged over a bit.

Rubbing the back of their neck, Étaoin hummed to themselves before muttering lowly in joyan once again. "Maaaaybe... I shudda gone with uisce bolgán..." A somewhat disappointed sigh leaving them at the thought of not actually being useful when the time came, and all hands were needed on deck to get out of this kind of situation alive.

Standing there in their little self pitying mood, Éta only noticed that the whole fight was now over. Their mood soon washed away once bathed in that same aura from before in the other room. Glancing towards the lady, as she castes her spells, this time summoning a phoenix instead of the beast Leviathan, Kurisa just seemed to surprise and intrigue Étaoin more and more as the day continued. Just watching the lady practically obliterate the brothers with two spells, gave Étaoin just that little bit more of hope that they would escape in once piece, along with the tremendous abilities of the rest of the group, especially the beautiful red beast, Nantosuelta.

Soon though, they were all following Kurisa towards another room within this labyrinth. They were silent as they walked down the corridors, following behind the Ko and Kurisa, with Xandra behind themselves. The nerves started to get to Étaoin slowly once more when the maze showed no sign of an exit, and only more narrow path ways, and more twist and turns. 'God... I can't be here anymore, I need air.' Wrapping their arms around themselves, Éta gripped their jacket, knuckles slowly turning more pale, as their grip continued to tighten with each step they took, as Éta followed those in front.

They glanced at the woman now beside them, and not behind them, only to notice the gem on their wrist grow even brighter when Xandra got closer with her own gem. Pausing in their own footsteps, Étaoin held out their arm, close to Xandra's seeing the gem glitter and glow an painfully bright red, to the point where Éta had to partially close their eyes. It was becoming too much for their nerves to handle. "Please don't say we can't escape..." Lifting their head to the women, as Xandra called them to gather around, and raise their gems all next to each other. "I don't like the thought of being trapped here." Étaoin gulped at the tendrils of fear slowly making it's slimy way up their spine once more at the lady's words. "Small areas and I, just don't mix." Once again they muttered to themselves in Joyan, as they also waited in hope the others would abide what Xandra had asked. They did not like the idea of being trapped in this maze, at all. Not one bit.

When everyone had done as Xandra had requested, Étaoin smiled softly. Pushing past the almost death trap this Labyrinth was, and the fear induced panic attacks, they had, had before finally finding Kurisa within the maze. Étaoin found it somewhat fun, and saw new things, met new creatures. Their knowledge had once again been expanded and although they didn't feel as free as they wished, it could just be the small step that would take them to their freedom.

When the gems were all placed near one and other, and the bright light bathed over the four off them, Étaoin blinked opening their eyes after the blinding effect, just to find themselves outside the exit of the dingy dark prison, with the three companions that Éta had come to enjoy being around. Although the sudden outburst from the man, had made the young mage jump, the pout that laced their lips as their purple gaze watched the red flamewyrm chase after Ko. "Ahh, I never got to say goodbye to her majesty!"

Shoulders dropping in defeat, Étaoin soon turned towards the other two women, before bowing their head politely. "Thank you for letting me join you... I learned a lot." Waving bye, to the two ladies, a smile on their face. "Maybe we can meet again, maybe even be friends in the future." Fixing their jackets, and satchel, Étaoin soon pivoted on the heel of their foot, before walking in a different direction, to explore somewhere new.
