Roxanne stands at a almost intimidating height of five feet and ten inches. She is mostly legs and sturdy ones at that. Her curves dip and twist like a road too dangerous to drive above forty miles per hour on. She moves with the confidence and elegance of a queen, never slouching with her head held high and her chest out ever so slightly. She keeps her body well taken care of, her slim frame has muscles that define her shape. She can bend and twist in almost inhumane ways as her flexibility almost fly off normal charts due to the sheer control she has over her body. Her silk locks fall to the middle of her back in untamed waves causing her to keep her hair in a ponytail or a single braid while messy bangs frame her heart shaped face. Her eyes are sharp with a constant look of disapproval for whom ever she is looking at. Cream color skin with ruddy patches and clustered freckles strewn about. Roxanne hardly has time to keep up a beauty regime and so old scars that have healed up are splashed all over her body like some angry painter's masterpiece. Extra: N/A Personality Personality: A proud woman with bold ambition, Roxanne will never let anything hold her back from getting what she wants. Her life as a pirate has taught her to never trust anyone and she will take those teachings to the grave. Not one for subtly she says what's on her mind without tact or forgiveness. She is tough but not dumb and knows when to pick her fights or lick her wounds. She is never one to stick her neck out for another and she has no sympathy for those who cannot do for themselves. Roxanne comes off as rude and off-putting upon first meeting her. Those that stick around through the unpleasantness usually earn a sliver of her respect and a more relaxed atmosphere around her. She enjoys the presences of a strong man or a pretty looking gal. She is sociable contrary to her initial reaction to people and actually enjoys the company of others, especially if drinking is involved. Roxanne ain't just sharp around the edges, she's pretty jagged inside too. As stated before she does not trust people and she holds grudges in a very unhealthy manner. She rather not have friends and is fine with being acquaintances or partners but she feels attachments that grow into something more than that can end up being a hindrance to her. Magic Magic Element: History History: Roxanne was born to a pirate and a woman of wealth. Her birth was a spur of the moment type of thing as she was never meant to be born. Once the woman realized there was a baby in her belly she gave birth to the child and then after searching tirelessly she found the man she believed to be the father. Needless to say the man didn't want the child but he did like money, so he took the child with plans of selling it to whoever would buy a baby girl. One would think it be easy to sell a child but that person would be wrong. No one wanted the child and he couldn't tell why. Now stuck with a kid he didn't even want his only choice was to get rid of the baby, so he did but putting her in a basket a placing her in the sea. The story should have ended there for Roxanne but she had the devil's own luck. About eight hours had passed and she sailed along the choppy waves. A boat was coming into view and on that boat were two women who had spotted the small baby out on the waters. These women belonged to a all female pirate crew and so they took her to their captain who in turn decided to raise the girl as her own. And from that day forward she was given her name and each day she grew she grew on that ship. When she could walk and talk she was given a sword and a gun to train with. She was taught how to navigate the seas, how to sell and trade, and when to plunder and pillage. Life was good for a while until the mages showed up... Living a pirate's life was never easy but it was fun and she had family that would do anything to protect her, even if she couldn't trust the scalawags. It seemed though the pirate's life was catching up to them. One day while sailing along to their next destination a boat happened upon them. They were from a faction called the Rune Knights. Now Roxanne had never heard of these Knights, mostly because the crew that she was with never gotten caught or chased by an authority figure. This was their first real encounter with opposition on that nature. She was twenty-two at the time and the encounter burned in her mind how ruthless mages could be. Now their were mages in her crew as well but these knights nearly killed or captured everyone in that boat. Only a few survived, including her. She had blacked out, the sea taking her she was sure she was gonna die. But still she had the devil's own luck and she found herself washed up on the shores of Hargeon. She at the time didn't know where she was but she used her wit to lay low and soon she found herself in the company of like minded folks in a guild called Grimoire Heart.
