Client:

Gaud Teller: Gaud is a traveling merchant. He is a large brunette man with a bushy mustache and beard. Though he gives off a jovial manner, a calculating glint can be seen in his eyes. He is capable of getting his hands on all sorts of Rare and Unique items. Dark mages are the bane of his life, but for anyone else, he'll greet them with a warm smile and a firm handshake.

Summary: During the exchange of a high valued item, Gaud was given fake money. He reported this properly to the authorities, and his insurance-guy; turns out, they don't protect him from this sort of business. After doing some private investigation, Gaud found out who gave him the fake money; a bandit called Jarjar. Gaud wants you to con this Jarjar fellow, the intention of this con is to get back the amount of money that Jarjar scammed. Violence is allowed, but up to a certain degree; Gaud wants to uphold his reputation as a broker and unnecessary violence would only tarnish it.

Objective: Con a conman, and return the money to Gaud.

Extra Rewards: None

Enemies:

Jarjar: The classic shady conman in the underground world. Jarjar is particularly convincing, his social skills allow him to deceive most - which in turn allows him to also quickly see when he's being conned. He looks as though he's easily beaten, but is surprisingly durable. However, that and his con skills are the only things he has going for him.

Discuss the intricacies of the job with Gaud.
Find an item to use as bait.
Spread rumors about the item in order to bait Jarjar.
Set up an exchange with Jarjar for the item
Either convince Jarjar that the value of the item is far beyond his expectations by conning him or beat the money he swindled from Gaud out of him.
Do this job without attracting the heat from the Rune Knights.
Return to Gaud with the retrieved money.
