He normally wears some sort of attire that is tied to knight-like figure. When he is not wearing that, he normally wears a light pieces of armor one that is a normal suit of armor with a navy blue cloak and skirt of some kind that acts as the bottom of a robe that is blue with gold trim. As the ties to the cloak to keep the on right, it is held by a small chain with two crosses on it that ares silver. For casual clothing, normally Lance would go for formal wear such as vests, ties, slacks etc. You would see his hair tied back with him wearing a white collared button up long sleeved shirt with a black vest with black slacks and nice shoes. Sometimes he would wear gloves on the formal occasion. Extra: None Personality Personality: Lance appears to seem asseriive and scary. Many people are intimidated by his height and looks of the armor. He knows how to place on this front as long people dont try to talk to him. He uses intimidation to get his way out of a conversation. Though, this not alway the case. Lance is a gentle giant with a big heart. He very much loves to be of serve to anyone he deems trustworthy. The code of the knight he lives up to as a way of life. Although, he does not follow all of the rules, he does follow most that lie within his morals of living. Lance is very shy and timid character since he has been hurt a bit much. He remains quiet and is hard to gain his trust. Much like a deer, he is easily startled. He does not wish to hurt anyone or anything that is living even the plant life other than grass. Although, Lance is shy he is also distrusting of people. He wishes to never come in contact with people and loves the peace and quiet. The young man is protective of himself and the people that has gained his trust. Lance does feel like a ghost sometimes when it comes to making friends. He has a low self-esteem and self-image of himself. Due to how his adoptive parents and siblings were to him, he wishes that he never existed. He feels worthless even pursuing a magic and becoming a mage. Magic Magic Name: Crystal Claer Magic Element: Water Magic Description: Crystal Clear magic is a type of water magic that is similar to your every day water magic. There is nothing special about it except it's unique look of color of being tropical turquoise instead of blue. With being the element of water, this magic is good against fire-type magics and weak against Nature and Lightning-Type magics. This magic is used for basically the Trickster class consisting of: Offensive spells, Supplementary spells, Self-Buff: Speed, and Defensive capabilities. History History: Lance never knew his real parents at all since all he knew was the orphanage until age 4. He was adopted by a wealthy family of the Marshall family. They lived in the town of Oak. His parents were Kaitlin and Chance Marshall. They raised him as one of their own like any other normal noble kid. He was the youngest and treated a bit differently as if he was a ghost. His parents ignored him half the time when he was trying to get their attention. His older brothers gotten more attention than he ever did. During the holidays, he would get nothing. It was like this for years. Though, at his school everyone loved him since he was such a sweetheart. He excelled in school and was the top in his class. He deems for his parents to notice him. Whenever they did, they would insult him saying a B+ was not enough or he was a disgrace about something else if his room was a mess. Lance's preteen years were the toughest. He knew his family was wealthy and had connections. They were very religious in the aspect of a different god of some sort. He was not very fond of it though, but still made him think they were quite suspicious. The Marshall clan did dark stuff with slave trades and supplying the dark guilds with money. Lance really didn't seem too fond of the idea. But it gets better. Planning all along since they adopted him, he found out the were going to use him as a sacrifice for a family ritual that happens every fifty years. He was raised a pig for slaughter. He found out through a conversation his adoptive father and grandfather. The ritual would of been for not another three or four years. Lance then planned to get out of there. The mansion was heavily guarded since word got out that Lance had found out. He tried climbing out of the window with sheets or digging, but nothing seemed to work. They locked him up in the dungeon of the mansion. His brothers dragged him against his will where they ruthless torture him with starvation, physical beatings and many other methods. He had to at least be alive for the ritual. Three years had passed of this consistent. The eldest brother came down one day for the daily "fun". Lance figured out how to escape. He remembered reading out of a book during his times in the library about magic. Water magic to be exact. The magic could make him turn into water. That's exactly what he had done. The eldest brother came into the locked dungeon room to see just a puddle of water and empty chain cuffs. Lance did a surprise attack and escape right out of the door. It was a struggle getting out there, but he made it through. At age 15, he made it out of that hell hole. Lance that day just roamed Oak running from his adoptive family. He spent several months roaming the lands until he ended up in the tundra town called Nanqu town. He had heard there were numerous amounts of water mages who specialize in plenty of water magics. The terrors of the past still pretty much tortured him everyday. He had to carry on with his life. Whenever he arrived, he looked for some sort of mentor. No one took upon his offer until a mage named Lucian decided to use him as an extra set of hands to help supply the town with water. AT this time, Lance was 16. Lucian became like a father Lance never had with teaching him combat and the basics essentials of magic. He was also given a job and gotten paid for it through Lucian. It wasn't much, but enough to give the young mage a good start. After two years under Lucian's wing, he thanked him and decided to leave wander around Fiore. He had no direction of course. He considered himself a nobody. He started somewhere in a small village on the outskirts of Magnolia. There lied a small lake that was very crystal clear. He settled down in this little village with the money he saved up for over the two years he worked under for Lucian. He was hired as the town guard. Lance became the town hero, it was hard for anyone to hate him. He would save the farmer's cattle from wolves or help the old lady cross the street. He was always wiling to help. In his spare time, he would go to the lake just admired it. There was not much else he liked to do. While living in this village, there was a beautiful girl named Claire. She grew to like Lance or at least played out to be. Lance fell for her and would take timeout of his day to walk her to her job or buy her a meal. Nice gestures. As time went on, she would go to him for help such as problems with her boyfriend and how abusive he was. Lance would take it upon him to bring him to justice. One night, she ran to him in panic and barely breathing. She said that he tried to kill her. Lance marched to her boyfriend's house to find that he was lying on the floor covered in blood and his throat slashed. That clever girl had set him up. She got the authorities and he as placed under arrest for murder. Never had he felt so humiliated and backstabbed. Lance was then provven innocent in the village court as it was all a scam. Why they did it? He never knew. Lance was 19 at this time in his life. Tired of the village, he moved. Lance just wander for months at a time visiting towns and seeing sights. Training everyday for some unknown motive It never occurred to him that he had no real direction in life. To be honest, he really didn't. Lance had no friends, no family, and nothing to claim not even a last name. He had no records of his past from what he could find, but it was all confidential. Lance just picked a random last name to give him some sort of identity. The last name Ravenclaw after a character in a book. |
