Mishiko

Why was she meeting here? This place was a Sancturary until the war for her. She wondered when perhaps her and Jin will get another chance to chat, more than anything. She wished to offer him once more, in some degree or another it will be the same, but with a couple options. Mishiko sent a little birdie to him in hopes he'd respond as she sat at the table, she waited. The golden trees with flowers of pink, red and white, they gave a pleasant aroma that kept all calm. Tranquility was important here as much as harmony and all that jazz.

"Need anything, My lady?", he questioned as her eyes cornered to see Ohta in his human form sitting next to her. His golden tired eyes gazed at her own tired abyssal ones. "No, well, perhaps some strawberry and grape juice in a sake cup," she wondered as he nodded without any questions and left. His hair was medium and white with some black. He made sure to wear a red mask with particular designs. His tall form made it obvious that he was no human, but he kept it hidden enough to what he really was. The day, the night, the time did not matter here as it was always glowing light as if it was always daytime.

Jin stood on the mountain. It was...a long time it felt since they had seen one another. Exciting even to get this letter. But he was curious as to what was on her mind given how things went the last time. Regardless of anything, he happily slung his bag over his shoulder and made his way further up the path. Hands clasped behind his head and a soft whistling tune from his lips. These days though, his cheerfulness felt halfway like a mask he wore.

"Hm," He examined the dazzling trees of vibrant colors as he eased his way around. The sun was high in the sky keeping it daytime. but he had grown used to sleeping beneath the sun, ever since that pesky floating disk appeared above his head.

A tall being stood with an intricate mask on. Without a word, Jin eased by the person, "Pardon me." Standing in front of him was the familiar pale-haired woman he had traveled with times ago.

"Hey Mishiko. Been awhile," he said as he pulled out a chair and sat. His bag slipped off his shoulder onto the ground. Despite his travels, he was still as minimal as ever. He pulled his helmet off and set it on his lap. He had nothing more than armor, a whip, and a bag full of potions and trinkets.

Ohta hmphd as he gazed down at Jin. She wasn't sure if it was out of judgement or jealousy, maybe both. Mishiko looked up at him as he sat down in the chair, getting comfortable and ready for what was to come. He wore his armor and he seemed different. The magic he has now was more powerful than ever for what he could do. "It has..." she trailed off in her ghostly, soft tone that lingered with coolness. "So tell me, how has things been going?", she wondered casually. Many of the guild members she has met from that first bar party have either gone missing or was too busy with their own life. Eternal nightmare was slowly departing, and she wondered if he was in denial or knew better.

Maybe he was having hope for it to be rebuilt, but why couldn't he just join her? They could change things up, talk about it and find a medium in all this. That or this could go horribly wrong. No matter what she was going to be civilized in this. Ohta on the other hand, if sighs could kill, he'd be dead.

Jin paused for a moment as Ohta gazed down at him with a sigh. He looked back up at the man with a weak and thin-lipped smile. He could tell he wasn't liked. And he was used to people feeling that way, and even looking down on him. After all, he led most of his life as a wandering vagabond. And yet...he felt some sense of sadness for the person behind the mask. To harbor a negative feeling for a vagabond. Seemed like a waste. Without a word, he continued on to Mishiko.

She was as ghostly and mysterious as ever. It nearly whipped a smile across his face. When she asked how things were going, he wasn't sure if she meant with him or with the guild...maybe both. "Things are settling in a way I suppose," he replied, with his hand rubbing over the helmet that was in his lap. He seldom parted with it these days, as surprise attacks on him had grown. But he set the helmet on the table next to him and eased back into the chair. His hands reached behind his head as he looked into the sky, "You know me. Just moving closer and closer. Back on the road. Back to healing."

He looked back over at her, and a mechanical twitch flickered in his eye as he could see her abilities and mana now. He could see exactly how she had lived her life in training her skills reflected in her stats. "It's been a long time since our lowly missions in the country side. How are you?"

She nodded gently and gave a light smile to go with. "Healing is something you seem to like, so I'm glad to see that," her eyes motioned to look at Ohta in a disapproving gaze that only he could feel as by sight, one could not tell how she felt. Her blackened gaze looked at Jin as he spoke about the missions. "Correct, we have done probably so much since then," she softly responded. She felt like it was time for business. "I have a few things to speak about..." she lingered on the silence for a moment. "Firstly, a war is about to partake in Joya - I'm leading it to save the people that are being abused and harmed in the shadows here by the Shogun and her Daimyo's, as well as their Samurai's that follow who believe their status means they can do whatever they wish," she tried to not let her emotions be read by her voice so she kept calm.

She licked her lips, "A few weeks tops is when me and all other allies will be sailing, and the Shogun's tropes will also be coming. The final battle will begin in Shichi. I am offering all guilds to join, and I offered the Light guilds a treaty that I won't bother with Fiore - as that's what Blue Pegasus truly wished. Guilds are not allowed to attack each other or collect for further reason. We are there for a common cause of saving innocent lives that have suffered for more than fifty years and further," she explained longly as her eyes looked at Jin. Mishiko can be quite insane, sure, blood thirty, yea, but she hated slavery, she was apart of it in her human life and she will do whatever she can to stop it. After her guild is done with this conquest, they will vote on a new one that has nothing to do with Fiore. At least the King...

It put a little smile on his face to hear that she was glad he was back to it. He wished it was as simple as that though. It still came at a price. "Thanks. I just wish I didn't have this annoying disk over my head all the time." He sighed and leaned his head back. "You know how hard it is to sleep now," he added with a light-hearted groan in playful complaint. "I bet," he replied to her about having done so much, knowing that she always ended up in extreme and dire situations.

Jin cocked a brow when she mentioned a war in his homeland. He spent so much time elsewhere but knew she had been doing a lot of work there. But a war? "A war...always is," he said knowing that in some fashion he was already going to help here without her needing to say much more. He was a sucker for helping people in need. It came with being a healer. And for how long the two of them had known one another.

"Sailing off to war in a foreign land. And Bringing the guilds together. I wonder how many of them will sail with you," he replied thinking about how difficult it would be to get them all to communicate. Jin rubbed the back of his head and looked away from Mishiko's gaze which was already easy for him to give in to. He rocked his chair back and then rocked his feet back to the ground with his hands on his knees and a light sigh.

"A few weeks is pretty fast," he said and turned to face her completely. "I can't make such an agreement on the guild's behalf without consulting the second in command. But aside from all that...there is really just the two of us," he laughed about the state of the guild.

"So the guild may not align with you on that. Trying to keep its focus on things here in Fiore and on corruption here. But I'll sail with you and help." He nodded with one arm resting on the table. His smile hid the weariness he felt from constant wars and battles. But if he could save some lives...it was worth it.

She huffed a chuckle which she then nodded. Mishiko didn't expect anything out of this besides a simple chat. It was just an offer she wanted to bring up just in case the matter went differently. She gave a small smile towards Jin's comment about he, himself joining in though. "Sounds good, truthfully? I don't expect every single person to be interested. Mostly if they have no history here," she commented. The wind was gentle, and her eyes were slowly lowering, but it was obvious she was fighting her sleep. Give it two months and she'll fall asleep rather she is ready or not. It was getting close to her slumber. "Haha, well, maybe not a few weeks, but a month or more since everyone else has to get prepared," she confidently told him.

She was getting so sleepy...

Tears started to drop and her smiles were more sheepish than normal. "I hope the war will be a success..." she quietly spoke in her soft tone. Her blackened eyes fluttered and then took the cup in front of her to drink, to stay awake.

She seemed more at ease than he had seen her in the past. Jin gave a small shrug as she responded, "Perfect. And yeah I imagine most people wouldn't run off to another country's problems. But it seems that's what I do the most."He caught a quick glimpse of the sleepiness in her eyes. He hadn't seen that for some time.

He nodded, "About a month huh? I should be ready then. You know when and where we'll meet to depart," He asked. A bit more specifics on the case at hand. "And how did you get the info on them?" He inquired further. It was a land she was intimately familiar with and he wondered just where her travels had taken her. Although something deeper within the light mage didn't really care about the details. He had already decided its what he was going to do anyway.

His hand flinched for a moment to reach and wipe the tear away...but it had been so long. His hand faded back to the top of the table and he looked away for a moment. "I'm sure if you can get us all together then it will work out well. Do you already have a battle plan ready?"

He looked back over to her as she drink the coffee, "have you been getting enough rest Mishi?"

"Hah... rest," she put it lightly while chuckling, she hasn't rested since she died months or was it a year ago? She has lost touch with time so the time she gave Jin about the war could be wrong too. "I will rest once the war is over and Joya has been rebuilt, both the Country and the politics," she was sure about this. She has lasted this long without sleep and maybe that was why her mood and attitude were no longer flowers and rainbows. Mishiko remembered when being Quilla, her first walk into Fiore was like seeing bright colors for the first time, but after the reintroduction to Joya due to being found, it all crashed down on her. What will she be like once this was over?

Once she is able to hibernate? Her abyssal eyes looked at Jin's, "We'll meet at Chishi and I always have a plan, or I figure one out on the spot," she chuckled darkly. "As we always have..." she speaks lightly with a small smile as she remembered their time together. That time on the boat that they snuck into. She takes yet another sip of her tea as Ohta watches carefully.

He shook his head with a slight smile as she was as careless with her health and body as ever. "Somehow I doubt that. There's always some new goal for you to obtain," he replied in a friendly way. He wasn't judging her path but felt like just like everyone with power, there was rarely a chance to relax, especially with her family situation. He wasn't entirely convinced that when all is said and done with this event, it wouldn't immediately leave her with a new enemy or task to complete.

She met her gaze as he did many times in the past. "Sometimes the only plan you need is to move forward," he laughed back with her, thinking about the last time they fought together and she mowed people down on the battlefield. "Plan or not. I'm sure things will work out."

"We have been pretty quick on our feet," he smiled back. "What will you do when this is all over?"
