Details Height: 48 cm Weight: 8 kg Appearance: Red-orange plumage covers its head, wings, and most of its chest and back before tapering off into a flame pattern. Its underside and hindquarters are gray and the tips of its long, pointed wings are black. Orange spots speckle its underside. Large yellow talons extend from the shaggy feathers on its legs. Coda has a pointed crest atop its head and black-and-yellow mask-like markings around its eyes. Its black beak is hooked with a yellow cere. It also has long black tailfeathers marked with three yellow V-shapes. The tail ends in two points and has another feather sticking out of the base on each side, resembling of the fletching on the end of an arrow. Description: Coda is part of an avian family known as the Woodsea Falcons. Coda belongs to the sub-family of Red Woodsea Falcons, who all bear the vermillion plumage over their bodies. Woodsea Falcons possess very long lifespans and are said to rejuvenate themselves by absorbing the forces of nature all around them upon their flight. Coda first met her falconer Daiko as an egg - the young Hunter was gifted this egg given to him by his late mother long ago, and he was tasked with raising and training Coda to aid in hunting. Even to this day, the vermillion falcon and the woodland hunter stick together side by side. Personality: Coda is a fickle mistress. Despite not being able to speak any common language, one can easily read her expressions and deduce her intentions through those alone. She can get a little possessive over her belongings and even over her falconer, and at the same time, she can easily discard the authority of her owner in favor of head-scratches from any well-endowed beauties that they stumble across. … Now, Daiko doesn’t have any right to kink-shame someone, but Coda is strongly drawn towards kind females. It has caused a few disputes between the two over the years, but despite the dismissive nature that Coda can have over her falconer, it is undeniable that the two have a special bond that transcends mortality.
