Name: Exploration of a Mysterious Land

Difficulty: Long

Participants: Collective Mind

Story: Seeking both adventure and hoping to establish some form of comradery between the guild, the Collective Mind has undertaken an exploration trip into the further most regions of Desierto, in the desolate sandy shores of their countless deserts in the hope to discover relics of a forgotten era.

Objective: To explore the sand-flooded lost tombs of Ahmose, Slayer of Baufra while bonding with fellow collective Mind members, avoid traps and fighting enemies along the way

Name: Convening of Minds

Participants: Collective Mind

Summary: From across the continent of Ishgar, both current and future members who are yet to know they will become a part of the guild have been summoned by an unknown force illustrated by a high pitched noise only audible to them resonating within them until they come to the Guild Hall. Using this unfortunate series of events that brought all the guild members together, Kon, the guild master of these inquisitive individuals uses this to begin an adventure that will test the mettle of each member.

Objectives:
  • A loud high-pitched noise echoes within the minds of all current and prospective Collective Mind minds as they are summoned to meet up at the source location, the Guild Hall for some unknown purpose.
  • Prospective members are formally introduced into the guilds, while discussions begin amongst existing members with plans for exploring the untouched regions of Desierto being formulated.
  • With affairs all but finalized the guild as a whole set out on a journey taking them from Fieros Girdle across the sea before touching down on the northern coast of Minstrel where the group begins their travel in earnest as they trek through the lush forests before entering the harsh desert environment towards their destination, the Lost tombs of Ahmose, Slayer of Baufra


Name: Scouring the sands for answers

Summary: Over the many days under the scorching weather, a more permanent place of respite becomes a growing necessity as fatigue and dehydration sent into the guild members as they cross back and forth the same sandy plots of land without answers. Fortunately, this is soon addressed with the discovery of a portion of the tomb and the raising of vast tents protecting the guild members while concealing the tomb from the rest of society.

Objectives:
  • Arriving at the rumored location of the lost tombs, members will begin their designated scouting of the desert laying down magically enhanced flag marks to denote their progress and to explore the depths of the sand below them.
  • With a sandstorm coming into the region, members must come together to create and prop up tents to avoid being torn apart by the vicious storm
  • During this turmoil, a small part of the tomb is uncovered from the sands behind the guild members leading to the rest of the tomb slowly being dug up with the extra sand being thrown to the wayside and gathered up on the walls of the tent outside.


Name: Unlocking the Tomb

Summary: An endless sand storm continues to bury the tent piling tons of sand onto it and has seemingly trapped the collective mind members forcing them to explore the building if they want to escape from the tomb of their own making. Within the tomb, the guild will come across various trials and tribulations to show their prowess in the hopes to reach the inner sanctum.

Objectives:
  • Sand storm now burying the guild within the desert, members are further incentivized to unearth the tomb. Some members choose to use their grit to unshoveled masses of sand while others more magically gifted lift up the building in its entirety by working together.
  • The tomb matching in texture and tone with the sand now being revealed in full is now ready for exploration with concerns of booby traps and magical charms being more than rumors, guild members are suggested to work in teams in the hope of avoiding them.
  • Within the tomb, countless artifacts and ruins are discovered and archived before the various teams meet up to discuss what they are going to do next with the inner sanctum being both booby-trapped and appearing to be guarded by undying entities.

Name: Defeating the Guards

Rank: S

Participants: Collective Mind

Summary: Approaching the inner sanctum, guild members are stopped by dozens of undying guards who were cursed by priests to protect the tomb and the corpse of Ahmose, Slayer of Baufra from desecration.

Note:

Objectives:
  • Chaos ensues as the hordes of guards charge towards the guild causing a sandstorm within the temple itself dividing the collective mind as they are split into groups and pushed into individual rooms
  • In these separate rooms, members will need to fight off dozens of guards with strength just marginally higher than them.
  • Using their wits and traps within the room, members will be able to weaken the guards and reunite with the guild in front of the inner sanctum once more.


Name: Cleansing the tomb

Participants: Collective Mind

Summary: After defeating the guards, the collective mind will attempt to enter the sanctum with mixed results causing them all to be blown back into the entry with a continuous pulse resonating from a mysterious blue glowing orb. Attempts to reach or destroy the disruptive object seem all but unsuccessful so members must find a way to stop it without feeling the brunt of the pulses.

Objectives:
  • After a failed attempt to enter the sanctum, members will be pushed back to the entrance where they will reconvene and discuss how to destroy or turn off whatever was creating the pulse.
  • By indirectly making their way to the orb's resting place, the guild members will be able to enter the sanctum and fight whatever is within.


Name: Vanquishing a False Prophet

Participants: Collective Mind

Summary: With the guards and traps seemingly destroyed or bypassed, the guild seems to be in the clear, however, this is shortly made untrue with Ahmose being awoken from the orb's pulse. Now awakened from his slumber, he feels a renewed sense of purpose and desires to turn nature into the sand while making anything living into his unliving subject. Hoarding a treasure trove of rare desertion artifacts with powerful enhancements, Ahmose rivals the entire guild in strength as such they must work together picking away at them and removing artifact after artifact from their decayed body. Ahmose isn't the only threat that they will have to contend with as once they have dealt 5x S-Rank worth of damage to Ahmose, the guardians will be resurrected within them.

Objectives:
  • Guild Members will enter the sanctum awakening Ahmose who will immediately attack the Collective Mind.
  • Users will need to deal 12x S-Ranks worth of damage to Ahmose in order to defeat them with them being capable of dealing 2x S-Ranks worth of damage each turn. For each extra member within the topic, the durability of Ahmose is increased by +2x S-Ranks.
  • After dealing damage equivalent to half the durability of Ahmose, the guardians within the tomb will be resurrected forcing members to fight them while also fighting Ahmose.
  • Upon defeating Ahmose and the guardians, the guild will be able to have their share of the dead prophets' horde.


Name: The Great Escape

Type: Good

Participants: Collective Mind

Summary: While pillaging the tomb for future archiving, an unknown spell is activated after Ahmose's last bouts of mana is drained causing the tomb to begin collapsing within itself as the enhancements that secured the roof begins to fail while the structural foundations begin to fail. Guild members must rush to complete their assigned tasks and flee from the crumbling building before it becomes rumble and returns into the sands. Meanwhile the Tent previously protecting them from the Sand Storm

Objectives:
  • Midway collecting the relics from the tomb to store away in the Guild Hall and use for their own personal use, a boobytrap will go off causing the building to fall apart and forcing the guild members to escape while the building returns to the sands
  • Once the guild has saved itself from the impending doom of being buried within meters of sand, the Collective Mind will make their trek back to the guild building with their pockets full of treasures.
