Kaito

Kaito making sure that he is not getting in anyone’s way walks over to the board his body was still reeling after the tolls of the week on it and he wonders where and how they can really keep this pace up as he feels like he has aged at least 10 years from the stuff going on as of late. Kaito grabs a request that simply says to get rid of some rats and Kaito takes it in agreement Kaito at this point can’t wait to be out of the north so he doesn’t have to keep dealing with the people of the north and the fact that they have a massive rat problem so many times a week that it isn’t even funny but he figures his time in the north was coming to an end and he was going to make sure that they could and would be able to leave when the time was on them.

Kaito knows that he still has a lot to learn but he also knows he has time to learn it as he walks toward the shopping district where this was going to be taking place and where Kaito is going to have to do what he can to make a good impression and not come up empty handed on the request even if he is feeling that these kinds of requests are not his thing and he doesn’t think he has had much fun in the north to this point. Kaito walked up to the building to the man outside of it looking like he was having a mental break down and the man looks at Kaito and looks a bit taken aback Revy raised an eye brow at that strange behavior as the man looked like he knew Kaito but really who wouldn’t know Kaito or Yuurei as both had been plowing around the north and their problems as of late.

Kaito shook the man’s hand as the man started to pour out his issues to the mage about how he needs the rats out and fast so that he can get this building back out and opened to sell his wares as this place had history as decently well off shop and he hopes to get it reopened before some foreign parties get into the country and come seeking it and the man seemed very, very stressed that he thought that this request was about to be denied after Kaito heard his request. Kaito just simply said a word of agreement to take on the place and he was going to make sure that they didn’t run into any walls or problems on his way, the man quickly handed Kaito the keys and Kaito followed by Revy enter the place and Kaito can tell that this place had not closed probably more than three months ago so this was unusual for one of these missions as this store still felt like it was breathing.

Kaito looks around as he4 can hear the rats in the area and the aisles, Revy climbed up and she looked around and it looked like these ones were just simple scouting rats and that was going to be easy enough to handle and take on and he needs to make sure that he takes them out before they can warn others so Revy points them out and Kaito flies up a bit very slowly then points and he strikes the rats nearly soundlessly and they keep moving on as the needed the store to not be ruined so Kaito has to be extra careful not to damage anything as this shop has very expensive equipment in it for making and enchanting items and repairing them so the new owner of this building would probably want those in tact or as close to in tact as they can be as they looked very beat up and in a state of very bad disrepair.

Kaito didn't really have time to be looking closer as this place was starting to swarm with rats and Kaito realized that they were probably smelling the blood from the other dead rats, Kaito had made a mistake not getting rid of the bodies so he was going to need to move fast and tear through these rats as he drops on top of them and slashes through them while watching out from anything that he could hit on accident and he shield bashes the other rats around him as they were trying their best to get at him but his armor and his shield keep him on his toes and them away from getting to him from under the shield and he starts smashing them into each other not holding back his strength as much as he had been up to that point and he makes sure that he takes care of where Revy is so he doesn't accidently smash her with his shield.

The make it closer to the way down and Revy gets on Kaito's back so he doesn't have to be so careful and he makes sure that he is blasting, slashing, and bashing his way through the crowd of rats and he doesn't waste a moment as he keeps going and trying to make sure that no rats gets to Revy and harms her as he was going to make sure this place was clear and ready for the new owner to take over and try to make the place back into it's former glory and he wasn't going to stand back and let this chance go to waste as this place may in the future give him a discount of their services and things that they could do as he knows that he needs to remake and make some new items at some point as some of his gear is starting to fall behind the needed level and he needs to make sure that he can make it till then through.

Kaito and Revy are working in sync as they move closer and closer to the place the rats had been flowing through and he gets to the door and he looks down into the darkness and all he sees is a sea of rats and his eye was going crazy seeing their weak points so he has to close his eye as it was starting to have a strain on his body and he rushes down the stairs as he swing his sword and Revy still giving him orders from his currently blind side and his shield is ready as well as he lets them come to him a bity and bashes them away with the free seconds that he has and he faces do the rat nests leader and the rat looks like it is slightly deformed so Kaito thinks this rat has to be one that was attacked at some point by a weapon and had fought for it's life.

Kaito knows that he doesn't have a choice and he runs in on the lead rat and the other smaller younger rats start to throw their lives away from the bigger more beaten up rat it means they were a pack and that they really respected the rat and Kaito was feeling more bad about this but he had no choice and he attacked the giant rat the swung it's clawed hands as they scrape and bang against his shield and he swings the shield up making an opening then slashing the rat across the neck, the creature released a horrible audible scream before it fell over gasping for a way to breath as it gurgled on it's own blood and he killed it there in that moment and he watched the other rats flee crying and he closed the way in and he started to clean up the place and then he leaves and he gets paid for this time and his efforts.
