Kaito

Kaito stretches his body as he was a bit sore from him being a miner and other fighting and things that had been going on as he was running himself a bit thin as he tried to keep up with his work load and he wonders what the next thing could be and he walks past a local posting board and he finds a mission about helping to clear out a shop but he feels like there seems to be a bit more to the story that he needs to know about but he figures the client will fill him in and he will not really have to sweat it if that was a thing that needed to be handled there but he needs to make sure that he doesn't get in over his head and he summons two of his team to come with him a girl with a light blue wolf mask and cloak and a boy with a yellow tiger mask and dark cloak shows themselves to him and he guessed they will do as they were still junior members.

He gets to the clients house and he knocks and the place looked like it was empty and he walks inside and starts walking around announcing his being there and then he hears a quiet and very mousy voice speak to him and he sees a small woman walk up to him and she asked if he was here to help with the rat problem and he said yes and she looked down and away and she says that the job has killed others and some took the money and never did the job to help and she wants to come along to make sure that he does the job he is being paid for, Kaito looked at her and he wondered if she was going to be able to stay safe as his team this time around as more forward and punchy than the usually front and back tactics that they usually are running but the woman was not going to take no for an answer.

Kaito sighed and backed down as that way she will pay them but he warns her that this is not going to be easy or fun so she better be ready to fight to survive cause if he and her get split up he can't say how well she will fare out there or if she will even be able to fare. He made sure she knows that he was hired to get rid of the rats not body guard her so she is on her own. He will still protect her but he wants to make sure that she knows that this is not a game and there is a real chance that she is killed and that he can't do anything to have saved her. Revy knows Kaito is a good guy but he is being a bit much here as she was already scared Revy smiles at her and she tells her not to worry about it that she is in good hands.

The woman followed behind them as they walked to her building and she unlocked the door for them and they walked in and he looked around he was not seeing the rats but the woman looked around and was scared that she didn't see a rat at all did that mean another mage had done the job or... As she went to say something Kaito fired a beam and it went through a few rats that had went to attack her. It would seem that the rats had gotten themselves hiding spots and were ready to ambush them when they came in and Kaito guesses he sees why the rate of people making it back or doing this was low the rats were smarter than normal which seemed to scare the woman even more as they were after her as if they were trained to kill her, Kaito wondered if they had really been trained to kill her or if it was them sensing her fear of them.

The werewolf girl is jumping and slashing at the rats and the boy in the yellow tiger mask was floating around and firing out cross bow bolts from his hand at the incoming rats and they look like they had been better working on their team work as they help Kaito cut a path through the crowd of rats. The woman is staying close to Kaito as they went and she wondered if she was going to get killed here or if she would be okay here as the man had already saved her once today as she was nearly attacked and she watched them work as they were seeming to be making a good time through them toward the area that Kaito thinks that the rats were getting in and he looked down into the area from a door way and he sees it the hole that they got in through. Kaito is thinking up a plan of attack as he kept the woman safe from rats that he blasts out of the air and the woman is not sure how she feels about having to be protected like a child.

Kaito tells the team his plan to get down there and to deal with the lead rat and hopefully get them to leave the area and them close off the hole with little trouble and Kaito goes in to the moving mass of rats first and he fires off beams from his fingers as he keeps moving into them and toward the huge rat as the other two keep the woman safe from the rats that slip past Kaito as he fought with the huge rat and took out smaller rats at the same time and it seemed like they were laser focused on the smaller woman that wanted to come with Kaito. He beats the huge rat and Kaito wonders what else there was to this story that they kept their eyes on her and not the fight the rats flee and the two get the path closed to the rats and Kaito double checks their work then escorts the woman home and he is paid well enough and the woman hurries and shuts the door.
