Kaito had seen a flyer about a missing charm and it had some kind of paper with permission to be on the palace grounds while who ever looked for it and he wondered if this was some kind of prank or something but he figured that he would attempt to help as he would want people to help if he lost something that he held dear to his heart as well so on this front he was fully on board as he walked to the palace to gain entrance, he figured walking was the safer choice cause just walking out of a portal might set the local guard on to high alert as that could be seen as someone of danger to snooping in places that they should not be snooping or stealing things from the palace and them not being able to prove it was him as he could just make it vanish.

He is allowed inside as he showed the flyer with the permission through he was a masked and cloaked man which had probably seemed weird for them to have to allow him in as they couldn't see his face but they also knew not to slow him down as they didn't want to cause unneeded trouble or this man to have to be in the palace for longer than that had to allow him to be there and the point him into the more dinning area as they had only see her a few times over the night and weren't on the inner side of the palace and told him to ask the staff and they will probably be able to give him a better picture of places that she had been and that he might have to waste less of time having to search like a cockatrice with it's head cut off.

Kaito wanders the grounds a little looking around before a servant called him over and he looks at her and she looked at him and she seemed scared of him now they he was up closer to her and was standing like a foot taller than her with his mask like looking into her soul. "S-s-s-s-sir are you the one looking for the lost charm for Mistress Elvira?" She stutters a little as she was unsure if he was really here for that or if he was using that as a lie to get onto the ground for something else. Kaito bows his head and he began to speak. "Yes I am thank you for finding me, do you know where about she had been while she was here?" The woman was surprised that he had spoke to her in Joyan when he said that, she figured that he had seen it as the polite way to answer her since that was the country they were in.

The woman leads him to the area that the Mistress had been for most if not all of the night and it was a decently sized area to have to search and Revy comes up out of his hood and she looks around. "Looks like we have a big area to cover Kaito I hope you didn't have plans for the day or night maybe depending on how hard it is to see." Kaito nods and he sets Revy down and he heads to the water wondering if it might have fallen off near the water or in the water. Kaito takes off his cloak and his mask and he folds the cloak and places it on the grass and he takes off his shoes and socks and he ties back his hair and removes the bandages from his arms that way they don't get wet and then he gets into the water and he starts looking around the stones and other things in the pond and he hoped that nothing in her might have eaten it.

Revy headed to look on the tea gazebo to see if it might be in there or in one of the seats or maybe down under it if it feel through a crack in the wood. She gets onto it and she moves around the cushions making sure but to swing any of them and sending the charm flying if it happened to be in or on one of them as she searched the tea gazebo for the charm and she was not having any luck so she looked over to Kaito to see if he was having any luck or if he seemed to be striking out as well and it would see the guards are having a chat with him for being in the pond or maybe it was about them being in this area Revy couldn't make it out but she walked over to the area to get it sorted out as she thinks the tea gazebo was a dead end and wasn't going to yield any return for them in this search as she hadn't found it on a cushion and she didn't see any spaces that seemed big enough to have had a charm fall through.

Kaito

Kaito was just minding his business looking in the water for the charm and he hear someone clear their throat and Kaito turned around to see a guard looking at him and tapping their foot like they were annoyed and he walks over to the edge of the water and the guard reached to touch him and Kaito out of instinct had backed away from the touch so not to send the guard into the water from the effects of his curse and the guard did not take well to that. "Hey hey calm down I am just looking for a charm for Mistress Elvira the paper saying all off it is tucked in on the cloak right there." The guard backed up toward the cloak and he kept his eyes on Kaito like he was going to attack the guard the second that he let his guard down and the guard finds the paper and realized that this was the masked man they had let in earlier just with out his mask and his cloak.

The guard still tells him that he needs to get out of the water as there is probably nothing in there, the guard asked why he had back up like that though when he had tried to touch him and Kaito explained that his skin is cursed and he didn't want to end up sending the guard to the hospital, the guard thanked him for that as he needs this job for his family and that he was sorry that he had interrupted the man searching for the charm for no reason and Kaito rubs the back of his head saying that it was okay as he was just doing his job and saying in the man's shoes he would have probably looked to question the strange man that was playing in the pond as well. Kaito gets his cloak back on placing the mask and bandages in his pocket as he starts to look around the flowers as he was sure that it could have gotten lost in the colorful beautiful flowers as well.

Kaito is very gentle as he looked around in the flowered area as he was not looking to kill anything only seeking the clover charm that was on the flyer and that was what he had to do as it was not going to be easy as a charm lost in a sea of colors and greens was going to match in and not be so easy to find even if he was some how to find it would the woman accept it from him as he was probably seen as a filthy low born as she was called Mistress and seemed to cater a lot of respect as he was able to be freeing walking around a Joyan palace as if he belonged for the most part, these clues all didn't seem to add up but he had searching to do as he moved to the next area of flowers on the west side of the garden.

He can hear Revy looking in the eastern set of flowers and as he had been she was being extra careful not to harm the flowers as they didn't need to cause any bad faith with this place or with the Mistress that had set them here with the flyer and a protection notice as it seemed to be for them to be here safely and Revy thinks she sees it and she moved in closer to it and it was not a charm but what looks like a slight mutation on the flower, Revy sighed as she had gotten excited for a moment that she might have done it but it was all just an illusion of the eye. She kept going until she had finished the eastern on then she moved to the southern on and soon after Kaito also joining her in looking in it but he started from the other end of the flowers that way they could meet in the middle once they got there.

A few more guards stopped Kaito and he once again explained that he was here on official business that was important and they looked at him weird. Kaito looked to them and he smiled and said something as a joke to try and lift his own and Revy's spirits. "A wise man once told me never get between a woman and a piece of jewelry that has a greater value to her than the money she could get for selling it." The guards just looked at him like he was some kind of stupid and Revy giggled a little at Kaito saying something so stupidly like that and then Kaito sighed and just showed them the flyer with the permission that he is allowed to be here and what he was looking for and the guards nod and they move on as they had more important things to handle than dealing with a fool.

Revy walks over and she pats Kaito on the back as they finish looking at the southern flower bed. Kaito looks at her and he shakes his head as he knows that he was an idiot and those two guard probably just went to tell the others about the weird man in the garden. Kaito tells Revy that they were now going to have to check the more grassy areas so he was going to start in one corner and he wanted her to start in the other so they can go over the bigger areas of grass as they go and maybe one will see something that the other had missed when they looked at it but Kaito wasn't sure that he was going to be able to find this charm but he was gonna give it his all. He started in the top corner of the gardens grass and he was going to slowly make his way across it and hope for the best as Revy did the same on the other side of the garden.

To make sure that he is not missing anything as he goes Kaito shakes the grass a bit with his hand that way so when he is going that there will be movement in the areas he is searching as it would match in nearly perfectly as it was green on green and that is like looking for a needle in a haystack and Kaito wasn't feeling all that lucky as this place was huge and even with Revy there was going to be a huge amount of time to do this as they had to be careful not to miss it while trying not to lose track of the areas that they were looking for it as he was going to find this charm if it killed him as there was no way he was going to leave here empty handed he needed to find this charm as it was something that might get him something cool plus there was a reward.

Revy is attempting to copy what Kaito was doing shaking the grass as she went but her hands are smaller and her reach is also smaller and she is not sure if she would even be able to tell the difference in color or if she would catch the movement as she kept going to see if she can find it as well as she really wanted to help Kaito who seemed to really want to find this thing she wondered what the extra reward might be as she doesn't know much about special items but she knows that if Kaito wants it she will help him to gain it as she was his right hand partner and it was on her to be his back up and then she sees the guard bugging Kaito again. She shakes her head as at this point it was starting to get a bit dark and they were still going to stop them to question them again and what was the point of that?

Kaito looked at the guards and they were talking about wanting to have him out of the garden area before dark as he had been here all day looking and if he hadn't found it soon then he might as well just say that it is gone forever and that they need him to leave as they can't have him keep creeping around and playing with the grass like he was. He looks them right in the eyes and he sighs as maybe he just wasn't meant to find it but he wasn't going to give up and he agrees to what the guards had told him and he will leave as soon as the lights in the garden turned on for the night which meant he probably had another half an hour at best so that meant he was going have to be a bit more reckless with how he was searching for the charm cause he didn't want to get kicked out before he had found it and he didn't want to let his and Revy's efforts to find the charm go to waste here.

Kaito casts his spell to make his wings appear on his back and he flaps his wings as he walked around to release wind gusts into the grass just strong enough to rustle the grass in bigger areas but that also means that there is a bigger margin for error and he had to be careful of the flowers so not to harm them and he calls Revy over to help him watch for any movement in the grass of the charm maybe stirring and Revy keeps her eyes peeled as she watched as Kaito flapped his wing and sent wind moving along the grass and she swears that she had just seen something and she tells him to do it again and as he did the lights in the garden came on and they both saw the charm move and shine in the light of the garden and Revy runs over and gets the charm and the guards come and greet them to tell them it was time to leave and Kaito bows his head to the guards and he thanks them for allowing him the extra time to look around a bit more as they had found it. Kaito and Revy make their exit to go and return the charm to the woman.
