Kaito looks to the well lit sky and he has a request in hand the mission of the day was one of dealing with the sea monster that had been causing some trouble for the locals of the island and he guessed that he can do what he needs to do to handle it but he knows that he needs to find a crew to take him out into the waters and start this quest to handle the monsters out in the water and Revy decided that she was going to go ahead and she finds Lydia the lich woman Kaito and Yuurei had helped break free from her bonds of slavery and she looked at Kaito and he guesses that this is his team member for the day though he was unsure how she was really going to help in the open water but he guesses that she will probably surprise him and make a big splash on this mission.

They head toward the area the boats came in and docked and they start talking to crews and ship captains till one brave soul stood up and he said he would take them as long as they were being paid a fair shake and Kaito agrees as this is the lives of his crew and himself on the line jewels are the least they can ask of him to give them in compensation for them to take him out into the water to fight a sea monster that could kill them or could damage the ship even if Kaito would fully pay for that as well as help them patch it up good as new. He also knows that some mages would not say back and help to do that either but he figures that it was just safer to not sweat these things as they are in the long road of things mean nothing or very little unless he gets the full crew killed then it leaves a giant stain on his name.

He doesn't think that he will have to worry about the stain on his name as who doesn't have a few on their names rather they speak of it or not no one is truly clean of blood on their hands. He gets to the ship and the crew look at him oddly as some of them realize who he is while others do not as they are not from Fiore or keep up with who is popular in that country as he is really only famous in Fiore so the islands are pretty removed from that and that means that locals mostly don't know him besides those he had helped along the way here on the island and he hopes that it stays that way for the most part even though either way he still gets the same stares and questioning looks from people that pass him as he is strange and that is not normal for them to see and hear while he keeps going looking over the ship and it's supplies in case of a storm or enemy attack.

They start setting sail as Revy as usual gets with the captain and she starts running the crew like a bunch of dogs and they get a laugh out of it. The lich woman looked around as she was not really use to fighting on the water and she had to be honest she didn't know how to swim and this was probably a very bad idea on her part as she was not sure why she even came with him to go and fight this thing and she as not made to be on the water as she looked horribly sick to her stomach. Kaito was glad that he got use to these types of things as he no longer got motion sickness after using his portals so much to teleport around so he had gotten over it, he still feels bad for that one guy that had transported with him and threw up all that good food and wine he had eaten at Fairy Tail. The waters come alive as a storm starts up just as they get into the waters and he holds on as this was clearly going to be a rough ride.

Kaito keeps his eyes opened as he looked for the sea creature through the heavy side ways rain and things getting whipped around them in the waves and he tries to whistle and see if it answers him over the roaring winds and he makes some portals and he tries to see if he can find where in this messy storm filled area this creature might be in an effort to get the beast to come out and show itself he was not disappointed as the creature sprung to life from the water and he makes a portal to be closer and the woman runs out of it to fight the creature as that thing was huge and it looked very unhappy with them being here and she froze the water around the creature making it hard for it to move and made walls of ice to start them from getting hit by a rouge wave as she fights and slashes at it as they try to break it's scales and he wonders why this this thing had come forward so easily and he figures it had gotten hungry or it felt the vibrations he had made and it started toward the ship. Kaito and the lich woman break though the creatures scales and it screams in pain as they had harmed it and it was acting as it it was calling for help. Did this thing have a mate near by?

He looked around in the storm but he hadn't seen anything else spring out of the whirling and swirling storm filled waters and he gets himself and the lich back to the ship and he secured the sea monster to the ship so that it can be pulled along behind them hopefully not going to sink them, he is soaked all the way through and slightly shivering as he had just been on a block of ice in the rain while he is getting blasted by water and natures unhindered fury. He gets some hot tea from the brave soul that was below deck making warm meals and drinks for those that were just out there in that maelstrom to be their saving grace and the ship heads back to port and they dismount and get the monster up and out of the water and Kaito and the crew are paid and they head off and go to change and get warm before they all catch their deaths.
