Name: Ripple Magic

Elements: Light

Category: Single

Quantity: Unlimited

Description: A magic style developed by vampire hunters throughout centuries of development, this ability has the expressed purpose of being used against malevolent races, and offers significant boons when dealing with creatures such as Daemons, Demons, Vampires, Werewolves and Liches. Combining martial arts with a specific form of breathing, it was created and honed with the image of letting the practitioners mana flow with purity and energy of the sun like a ripple, hence the name: This effect burns away at those corrupted by darkness and evil, making it ideal for any who wish to challenge the forces of night, distinct from styles like Demon Slayer magic due to its own boons and bonuses.

Extra


Requirements:
  • The user must be capable of casting Supplementary Type Spells.


Drawbacks:
  • All spells must originate from the user's body.
  • Spells cast are one rank lower if the user's torso is hindered.


Effects


  • The User ages twice as slower due to the powerful vitality afforded by the Ripple, remaining in their prime for longer.
  • The User's Offensive Spells deal one rank higher damage against Dark Races: Vampire, Werewolf, Daemon, Demon and Lich. This stacks with Spell Overcharge type enhancements, but doesn't double the damage an additional time, instead, it doubles only the base damage of the spell (Example: an overcharged S-rank spell deals 2S rank damage, and 3S rank damage with this effect).
  • Damage dealt against Dark Races cannot be healed for the duration of the topic.

  • Name: Sunlight Yellow Overdrive
    Rank: S
    Mana Cost: 500
    Requirements: Ripple Magic
    Type: Supplementary
    Element: Light
    Range: Self
    Cooldown: 5
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The users mana becoming a potent weapon in its own right, they can channel it through their body and their weapons to add the magic to their physical blows. This turns all of the physical damage dealt into Light element magical damage, with all the effects of Ripple Magic (Higher damage vs Dark Races and healing prevention).
