Haru would nod as she began to scoff down her second serving. Much less spicy than the first, but still delicious. She would definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly now that she knew of its existence. The ranger smirked a bit 'semi-friend' seemed about right, not enough to put her complete trust in him, but he didn't seem like a terrible person either, now that the misunderstanding was cleared up. However, she wasn't one to speak 'freely' in front of her closest allies, let alone someone she only met today. Choosing one's words wisely was always important.

"I mean, it's mostly the attire choice that makes him scary, that face of his is rather pretty. I'm sure he'd have people swooning over him if he didn't keep it covered with a mask." The feline woman chuckled, he would obviously hate that given he mentioned not wanting to physically touch people. Perhaps he tried to look scary and unapproachable for that very reason. Haru simply ignored the prying eyes, although a little surprised they annoyed Revy so much. Surely she must get weird looks everywhere she went, similarly to Haru herself.

Kai seeing that Revy was getting Uncomfortable, he pets her head then he turns and glares at them and everyone turns away like he is some sort of monster out of a hellish nightmare they may never wake from. He guessed the people here weren’t use to seeing exceeds but staring is annoying, he had seen many demi humans around the north more toward the forests then the towns but he wasn’t gonna let this group make Revy uncomfortable.

” You are right He probably would be, but he finds it easier to put that wall between himself and people, at least until he is cured if he is ever cured, maybe after that he could start a family or something if he finds the right woman.” she smiled and wonders if the woman she is thinking of would want to do that with him, though that would probably not be for awhile, maybe she could teach him to actually live and not be so withdrawn.

He turns back around and to his food then sips his drink. He doesn’t know how where these ladies are putting all the food they are consuming but he is happy they are enjoying it so he feels that is the must important part of this visit to the shop, he might have never known this place existed if not for Haru. He hopes their friendship can grow and blossom into a decent flower.

"That's fair, I guess I would do something similar in his circumstances." Haru nodded in agreement. Although she didn't fully understand what it was they were curing or what this curse was, she could at least acknowledge that if she couldn't touch people for whatever reason she would avoid doing so. For herself as much as those she might hurt in the process. She stared into the bowl of ramen before her as she continued to think for a moment before finally biting the bullet.

"So what happens exactly if you touch people?" She asked, figuring she'd just inquire directly rather than skirt around the topic. Honestly, her curiosity was getting the better of her, but considering she had opened up about some information regarding herself to Revy, she didn't see the harm in being upfront. If he didn't want to talk about it, then she would naturally drop it.

Revy was surprised the woman was so forward in asking that question from kaito but she knew Kaito would tell her without a problem and then the girl would understand why not to touch him if she could help it. Kai looks to her and he removes his glove and holds it out toward her.

He looks her right in the eyes. "If you were to touch my skin with your skin, you would see and feel yourself die, I am unsure if it is how you are fated to die or if it is your fear of dying or if it is just random, if you want to see then go ahead and touch my hand. " He looks serious, he is more just teasing her with it but it could come off as scary but he doesn’t think she is that weak of will that she would let that fear over come him, maybe she will hit him back that he has an ugly hand but he doesn’t expect her to touch his hand and Revy punches Kai in the gut for being like that to the girl.

Haru blinked unsure how to take his words, as her golden orbs eyed his bare hand. The ranger had grown up with her life often teetering on the edge of life and death within the fight ring. Some fighters truly went all out and refused to hold back regardless of how pathetic their opponent was, often leaving her with life-threatening injuries. As such she wasn't one that feared death, it was just a natural part of life. There were far more torturous outcomes that could happen to you than simply dying.

With a serious face in return, the Neko put her food utensils down, reached out to touch the hand he offered, intrigued more than anything to see how it worked. Would it be painful? Not all death was. Often people died in their sleep quite peacefully. A slight smirk appeared on her face just before she made contact. Would curiosity kill this cat?

Kaito was stunned that the woman had put her hand close to his hand like she was gonna touch his hand and Revy jumped to try and stop the woman from touching Kai's hand like she had called Kaito's bluff. He had not thought she would call his bluff and try this troubling thing. Revy was too late and as the woman's hand touched his hand Revy and Kaito's face sunk to despair of what this poor woman would see and feel from this lapse in judgement.

The woman was being held down by werewolves and they started to torture her breaking her bones, making sure she couldn't flee and they began to bite into her flesh, their teeth sunk in deep as if they were taking their time with her and they were not going to let her just die as they start to devour her flesh and they spoke about keeping her ears as a trophy of her being their hunt and spoke about letting her live longer to recover so they may feast on her more as her flesh regrows and torture her more to make sure she had learned her lesson. An elder looking one decided to take pity on her,
he tore out her throat leaving her to gasp until she finally perished. The were wolves arguing about how the elder had taken their kill as the light dimmed out of her eyes.

Drooling jaws lined with pointed teeth, razor-sharp claws, eyes that hungered for her flesh and piercing pain far worse than anything she'd experienced before. The nightmare of all nightmares for the demi-human as she was left with nothing but panic, unable to move or defend herself from her attackers as they began to consume her flesh alive.

As she finally managed to pull away and awaken out of the nightmare that was watching herself die in the most horrific way she could imagine she'd find her body was drenched in sweat. Her heart palpated erratically as she tried to comprehend the horror she had just willingly witnessed. All colour had drained from her face as she felt sick just recalling the visions. For a few minutes, she was just in complete shock, staring off into space.

Finally blinking her golden eyes would turn to stare into the broth of her ramen. She pushed the half-eaten bowl away from herself, unable to find the will to stomach any more food despite how delicious it might be. Her appetite was completely gone as she didn't know what to say or do, unable to form any words or think straight.

Revy hugs her and she knows Kai has really messed up and will have to pay for this later. Kai looks at Haru and by now he has put his glove back on so there is no risk of seeing another vision of death or how it may come. "Now you see why I fear to being touched by people… I don’t want them to have to feel that. " Kai looks like he is about to cry himself and he places his mask on his face, he knows he had messed this up and this woman would never speak to him again after what she just saw. The only people to this point that have spoken to him after seeing whatever fate they saw were his Master and Quilla.

He looks to Haru and he wonders if she will be okay. ”Haru are you okay? Kai didn’t mean for you to touch him I am certain he was just being a smart ass, I am sorry he hurt you. ” she keeps hugging and rubbing Haru’s arm to try and get her to snap out of it and get some color back in her skin.

Kaito stands he feels like a monster he didn’t think in a hundred years that Haru would have touched his skin like that and he feels sorta sick to his own stomach for causing this woman to have to live what ever she just saw but he wondered if he should ask and find what she had seen from touching him, cause then maybe if it is a way she could die she could avoid that death by knowing that it may just be knocking on her door if she sees the signs and the writing on the wall.

Haru was still having issues processing the visions she'd seen, her hand unconsciously stretching around her throat that she'd seen and felt being ripped out by sharp claws. From her perspective, she hadn't seen how she would die in the future, but rather a nightmare that had manifested from one of her biggest fears. Admitting all that to someone though, was a hard pill to swallow.

"Uh... yea..." The feline woman muttered, still in a bit of a daze, she could completely understand not wanting to force that onto people. She'd blink a few times, her ears twitching as Revy attempted to comfort her. Finally snapping out of her own thoughts, the ranger would smile softly down at the exceed, giving her a brief pet.

"I'm alright, just a little shocked." She admitted, "I hadn't expected it to be quite so... vivid." She chuckled nervously. Her golden gaze drifted from the crimson kitty, up to the brunette male beside them, his mask now covering his face again. Hiding himself from her was probably a sign of regret and guilt in this instance. "And it's not his fault, I took him up on the offer." She stated bluntly staring at him with conviction, hopefully, he wouldn't be too hard on himself.

Revy looks up at Kaito who seems to not be looking at her or Haru, he clearly felt like trash and he should have not done that, to this poor innocent woman who had done him no wrong. He is struggling with his own mental hatred of himself. A voice speaks in the back of his mind telling him that he should embrace this and hurt more people while his normal mind fights against it. He mustn’t give in or people might get hurt. He is far stronger now then he use to be which means he is far more of a danger to others that he comes across one foul mode and he might throw someone into the void to be vested on, he has to keep control.

” I am sorry, I swear he is friendly.” Revy is unsure how to help this as this is the second person to willingly touch Kaito but Haru had a worse reaction then the first one that touched him, maybe where they touch him has an effect on the damage it does to the person. Her head is spinning and swimming and she has no more ideas as Kai isn’t speaking and she feels maybe this friendship is fractured now. She is in a little bit of a panic mode.

Kaito pulls out catnip to see if it works on Demi-humans if they smell it. He looks at her and he smiles hoping maybe it will help her mood. He leaves it near her in case it works then he leaves with Revy and he hopes to hell she will be okay cause he feels so badly.
