Kazimir Seiryu
After having left the grim Cemetary of Samhain, Kazimir invited Karisa on a trip through the wilds. Time away from all the madness of cities and events. Their lives had both taken such drastic turns in the past months it was hard to keep track of everything. Kazimir has stumbled upon a small keep that was left recently abandoned after the war and the new owners rented it out. A lavish expense, but Karisa liked nice things and it gave them plenty of space to enjoy.

They rode up in a small carriage with Kaz holding her hand. "I hope you like the surprise. It will be secluded enough for us to be able to talk and catch up on all the new things that have been happening. I want to know more about your new look too," he kissed her hand as the carriage came to a stop. The door opened and the driver stepped to the side as the steps lowered. It wasn't his usual means of travel, but he wanted to make sure the pregnancy was as safe as possible. Plus out here it would be harder for them to get attacked by anything.

He gazed back at the woman he loved and offered his hand to help her down from the carriage and onto the narrow road that twisted up toward the front door. Not another soul in sight aside from the driver and a single house steward that awaited them by the front door.

"You may have already noticed. But there are some...differences about me as well. But for now, let's just get settled in my love." He took her bags if she had any.

Karisa

Her eyes of brown with golden suns looked at her lover. He seemed quite content and peaceful in which she enjoyed most. His hands were warm, warmer than normal as she could feel the 'humane' part of him now. She felt safe, calm to the point she could fall asleep next to him with no worries. The woman played a smile and chuckled, "Oh~ I do love a good surprise,". She loved how he always made sure she was alright as she felt his stern gazed on her. The only thing about this magic of hers that bothered her sometimes was that she always knew the new things, no surprises.

Once the carriage stopped he kindly escorted her out carefully to reveal the beautiful building and scenery in front of her. The area lit up in pink from the light in the sky to the trees of passion. The waterfall looked so good to dip her feet in, but perhaps they could do that another time. She chuckled softly at his words, "I agree, my love.~", she purred and leaned her body against him as they walked together. Karisa could hear the crackles of the earth as they walked on the earthy bridge and to the stairs that lead to the inside. "The nature here is beautiful..." she whispered while gazing around with her eyes. Before wanting to say more on the subject of his changing, she waited till they were inside.

He pressed his lips against her cheek for a passing moment as she spoke sweetly, hand in hand with him. They reached the opened doors of the residence and he eased inside the doorway to see the spiral of stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was in front of them, a little beyond the living room.

"I thought you'd like the view," he added but they both had much to talk about today. far more than the gentle ambiance of the place around them.

"I wanted us to get away here so we could finish the talk we started in Samhain. About the children and their future. Things are.. different now for me. You may have already noticed." He pulled her close to him, chest to chest so he could look into her eyes.

"I'm no longer a vampire. My immortality is gone along with it," he spoke and awaited her response. It changed things for their conversation about the children but not about any of Kazimir's decisions. He knew that whatever changes either of them went through, it wasn't going to stop them.

"I know that makes the situation with the kids different. Especially with you aging them. But I'm not worried about any of it. We'll figure it all out."

She wanted to act surprised, but she couldn't as she was somewhat happy that he was no longer part of the 'undead'. The only complications that arose now were the fact that he was no longer immortal. She giggled sweetly with an assuring smile, "That is indeed a hairy situation,", she jested, noting that she knew exactly what he was. She accepted him no matter what he becomes or is as his personality has not changed.

"I won't have to worry about dog breath now, will I?~" she teased at him and motioned her face to go against his chest, nuzzling it with her nose. She kept herself short enough so she was chest-size. She loved being able to rest against his chest easily as it soothed her. Hearing his heartbeats were new and welcoming while they were held up close. It was music to her ears as her own heartbeat fastened. The subject of their children made her sigh as she looked back up at him with her brown-golden eyes. Quickly, she nodded and smiled, "That we will, My love, as always.", she patted his chest lightly as her eyes then scanned their surroundings.

The spiral stairs were quite unique and pretty as the Kitchen and living room was more than welcoming for the loving pair. Her eyes gazed at the fireplace which she always wanted to have one of her own. Weirdly, she didn't get one built in her guild room. The kitchen was quite large, enough for a party gathering, but it was just the two of them. There were many feats. of beauty within the area, but her attention fully went back to Kazimir's beautiful eyes. "I wanna ask where to, but I'm enjoying myself in your arms too much," she softly spoke as her right hand caressed his cheek, thumb rubbing against his jawline. When she's with him, all else ceist to exist as she could be happy in his arms forever.

His eye brow rose at her carful choice of words. She couldn't already know...could she? He pndered the extent of her web of knowledge. He could feel the warmth of her body in his embrace more defined now. The side effects of the undead that had weakened his heart in some regards, had faded now, and his longing to have her at his side only grew, clearer.

"So you already know then," he gave her a playful squeeze at her teasings. Her head moved to his chest. "Not dog breath but maybe my chest hair will become a mane," he joked back, thinking about her dealing with a forest of chest hair. None of which he was worried about. So far the transformation was a minor thing. He suspected she already knew a great deal about werewolves too.

He turned his head into the palm of her hand with a kiss. "We can do both my love," he replied and a ripple of wind blew about their feet, rising them both gently into the air. The current carried them closer to the fireplace, and the couch that faced out into the vast expanse of nature, through the wall length windows.

"It is nice to be able to enjoy all the luxuries of life again. But...it seems you've undergone a change as well. Any more information about that?" he asked, but no matter the form or appearance she took, she was always beautiful to behold.

She raised her brow as her eyes cornered to look at him while still in his arms. Karisa gave a slight smirk and chuckled at his joke. "I won't mind. It lets me put my fingers through it as I cuddle you into submission," her eyes went back to the place that they're at as she hears him talk about her own change. Her smirk disappeared as her lips were now a flat line with a small side-frown. "It wasn't like the normal, no potion, no magic involved... I just woke up like this after a strange dream," she side glanced.

Out of experiences and studies, she knew that people could turn into; vampires, werewolves, daemons, and even Nephilims by contact and potions. It was unheard of when it came to elven and a few others. "Do my 'knife ears' bother you?~", she teased, but deep inside it was hurting. There were people out there who looked down on elves. She met one who was afraid of her one day, thought she was going to enslave her or something. They had tattoos on their face and truthfully it worried her. Before the woman left, she was told that she will meet someone important to 'their' people soon. Her eyes looked back at his with her soft golden-brown eyes, "Not yet, but I was told soon I will find out about myself from another like me," she left off before spacing off in her thoughts while in the comfort of her lover.

"Cuddle me into submission huh," he replied cheekily and rubbed her back. "I like that idea," he added with a smile. It was a relief to see that she didn't mind the change at all, even though he didn't even know how far the change would take him. He did know someone he could ask about it eventually.

He grazed her chin with his hand and turned her face back to him, "That's odd but we'll figure out what's going on. Regardless, you are still beautiful and my love." He chuckled softly at her fleeting comment about her ears and brushed the strands of hair behind one of them. He planted a gentle kiss on her ear and whispered, "They don't bother me in the slightest."

"Hmm," he thought as she said she would meet someone else like her. It was an odd turn of events that she was not the only person that had gone through a transformation like this one. "Could you mean Judith?" He asked, knowing that they were close and had both turned recently. It was suspicious that they both became Elves around the same time. He wondered if this meant something larger for their family or if races were shifting all over Earthland.

His compliments caressed her esteem that was usually low. It was like sweet honey, his words. Her head shook towards his question, "No, not Judith... I don't quite remember her name, but no matter. Let us pay more attention to the here and now, shall we?~", she constantly wanted to be in his embrace or at least against him. Clingy and affectionate some could call it as she knew they will both be busy with their own things soon enough. She was enjoying the brushing of her hair, kisses on her ear and giggled as the whispers tickled.

"So, what will our dream house have? ~", she wondered randomly as her mind drifted off into daydreaming of their lives once they retire someday. Her day was of course coming sooner than his most likely. Fighting battles and people were slowly becoming less possible with family being involved. What will she end up doing?

"Okay," he replied to her wanting to get away from any distracting and serious topics and just focus on the two of them. Too often, the wind mage let his mind race from one thing to the next. A habit from the constant struggle and warfare of the world. But with her, he knew he could let his guard down and ease his wandering mind.

"Our house," Kazimir replied, leaning back against the couch with her in his arms. A grand window across from them that looked out over a silent landscape of color and nature. "As long as there is a balcony and a place to train I will be content. With nature nearby," he spoke, always thinking of the simple things for himself. He wasn't too particular when it came to those matters. But he always had a need to train and push himself further and indulge his connection to nature.

"I think a nice kitchen would be good too. Now that I can enjoy normal food again," he added, although part of him missed the euphoric moments they spent together when he was a vampire, needing to feed. "What about you? and special requests? Although we'll need to get married first I suppose."

She smiles sweetly as she caresses his cheek with one hand. Her eyes sparkle with love as the two swindles on the couch as no one could tear them apart. She was happy to hear his ideas as she didn't want to just have her own ideas onto the house. Someday, Mimi and Tempris will want to move on and do their own things, move into their own place. It will be him, herself and their two children till they grow old enough to leave. It will be sooner than later with how things are going due to her magic.

"A Balcony sounds lovely, dear and I will make sure to have a training area as well," she paused for a moment as she thought about what she wanted. Her eyes corner away and wondered if she should continue on her science or not. Perhaps she could sneak in a secret lab. Her eyes crept up to look into Kazimir's eyes and snuck in a sigh. "Perhaps a garden, library with my office and I will deffienately make sure to have a large bathroom," she giggled.

"Do you have any baby name ideas? For perhaps a boy and a girl? Or do you wish to name one and I name another?", she wondered happily as her eyes shined more and face glowed with youth.

He gave her a loving squeeze, with his arm gently wrapped around her, "Thank you. I'll try not to get too carried away," he added with a teasing smile. But he was never one to get too reckless with his magic. Teh wind mage cocked a brow as Karisa turned away and returned with a small sigh. It was little things like that, that hid the deep mysteries of her being so well. And yet he never felt like he needed to know them. He was comfortable knowing that whatever secrets she may still have, would not come to harm him or anyone they cared about.

"A large bathroom, huh," He shook his head playfully. "It's a good thing I'm a man of few needs," he joked about shared bathroom space. "Seems like you put some thought into this. A library would be nice. It would be hard to top the one at your guildhall."

"baby names," he repeated and cleared his throat. A faint line of sweat beaded his forehead as he completely forgot about names. He wiped his forehead with a mixture of anxiety having not thought of names and pleasure that he could sweat again now that he was alive.

"That is a good question...If you have any names I'd love to hear them...For me...I'd name them after someone. I think we can agree on a name for both of them." He looked out the window, thinking about all the people that he had lost along the way, and if any of them would make for a good name for a child. "I don't think my family has any strong family names or a history of them." He kissed her neck, with the happy thought that even though he had never really had a family before, he was starting one now.

She smiled and blushed while gazing down to hide her face with her long hair. Her head rested against his strong chest as her hand went against it. His heartbeats were making a song that was quite soothing. On the subject of baby names, she knew that Eris will want them to have relations to her siblings or just Seven in general. After her death, Eris will go to one of them as she is apart of this family now. Her body is just a temple for her at this point.

Whispers of sweet darkness went through her ears as only she could hear it. Her eyes closed and took a soft breath before speaking the names; "Rhea and Charon,". Eris never said they had to be close related to her. "We can even add Judina's name in the middle of Rhea's. Or just Judi for short. I'm sure my sister will appreciate that." she insisted as she felt that Kazimir was thinking how they should add it in somehow. She wondered about the boy's name and wondered if perhaps she should add her other sister's name in there or if Kazimir wanted to put something in the boy's. "Charon Ali -, wait... who's last name are we using," her head popped up to look at Kazimir.

"Oh, Ahead of the game as always" Kaz joked as Karisa already had great names picked out for the two children. "I like them," he nodded with her still in his arms. The warmth of the nearby fireplace heated up their soft skin.

"I like it. Judi makes a great middle name," he acknowledged and was happy that they both knew someone they could honor in that way. Hopefully, Judith wouldn't mind, but the wind mage doubted she would. "What about the boy's name," Kaz asked, trying to think about anyone else in his own life that would make a good fit for it. He hung on Karisa's words as she repeated the boy's name and almost spoke a middle name when she popped her head up to look at him.

"Oh yeah," The thought of a last name slipped his mind like a breeze passing through a field. Another downside to having been orphaned, or perhaps a bonus. "My last name is..." He stopped to think. His name was a clan marker more than an actual name. but he had spent so much time away and so accustomed to it, that he saw it just as much as an expression of himself as opposed to a clan marker. All these years and he still used a communal name. As if he was still just a part of the machine. But he had never felt so sure of himself as an individual. He couldn't help but smile at the thought that the common name defined him more now than it felt like it defined his clan.

"Actually it's the name of one of the clans I grew up with. When we were raised we all had the same last name. So mine is more of a clan marker than a personal name...in a way..." He thought about the mechanics of it all but didn't want the children to feel bound by something they knew nothing about.

"It'd probably be better to use your name," he said and took a deep breath. "When my clan betrayed me, I dropped their clan name and took on the clan name of our neighboring clan...when I was going to get married into the clan." He said with a bit of sorrow that had been lessened over the years. He put on a smile, "So it may be less heavy to use yours. I don't think you'd want our children having the same last name as my departed Ex-fiance," he said, using a bit of humor to mask the awkwardness of it all.

She gave her typical sweet motherly smile as she snuggled into her love. He didn't want them to have his clan's name due to some marriage complications that she was secretly glad didn't work out. 'Ew, he's right...' she heard in the shadows within her thoughts. It bothered her a little to talk about Ex's, but she knew he was hers in the end. "I understand, M'love. I suppose I have to figure out which last name of mine to give them then," she chuckled at her own sad humor. She had many lives, and this was her last or so she believed. Along with many lives were different Families and last names. Does she just give them the same as the other three of her children?

Deep inside she was frustrated, but there was only the one answer. "I'll just give them the same as the others," she gave a light smile and gazed off into space. In speaking terms of breaking the fourth wall, "So what shall we do for the next two years?~", she jested sweetly with a smile and looked up at him.

"How many last names do you have to choose from again?" Kaz asked, aware of her body being shared with the goddess, but so far Karisa had kept the drawn-out details of her past lives more to herself. Mostly he assumed it was to spar him from the complication of figuring it all out. It would never change how he felt about her, so he didn't mind knowing or not.

Kaz nodded as she decided to keep the names the same. "It would probably help the others with any confusion as well." Even from outsiders. It could be a hassle explaining to them why the children had drastically different last names.

He wrapped his arm around her, to pull her body in closer to his own. Her sweet smile and tickled his heart as she looked up and asked such a sweet question. "Two years..." He looked up at the ceiling and thought for a couple of seconds. He brought his gaze back down to meet hers. "Raise a couple of kids. Put down some monsters. Try to hold guilds together...and most importantly..." He ran his hand across her cheek and scooped the back of her neck to pull her in for a kiss. He pulled away gently, with their lips fluttering apart, leaving a warm breath of distance between them. "Run off together, My Love."

After she responded he would stand and guide her to the bedroom, for the rest of their vacation to continue.
