Magic Element: Light

Magic Description: Ethereal Literature is a Caster Magic and is a form of Letter Magic. The user writes an action in the air in third-person including narrative and literature forms e.g. "User indulges their energy and makes a bright, ball of light." The spells cannot appear in an instant and the user is required to do the actions their sentence include; and only certain and registered actions will enable the spells. This magic allows the user to use both offensive and defensive spells, supplementary, and self-buff: speed spells.

Hi Shinko let's go over your spells~

Resferber: please change the range of your spell. In your description you say 5 while in the list it says 3. Every spell needs a size and as you can see in regulations a D rank cant be bigger than 1 x 1 meters. So please state a size to your spell.
Nemofilist: again please state a size of the spell.
Cliffhanger: please state a size again and pick one range; keep in mind that it is a maximum range it does not necessarily mean that it will be up to that range.
Novaturient: please change your amount of stat points (5 points) to: changes the rank with a D-rank. In case the points will be changed in the future, you won't have to edit your spell. And change range to: personal.
Nefelibata: flight spells are possible from B rank or highter. So unfortunately this one is denied.

So a clear-up question from me; how do you cast your spells? Do you write them like what you wrote between "..." and than execute the motion in person for every spell you cast?

Sorry forgot to mention before but you need to use a modifier or spell damage type for your offensive spells: here
Cliffhanger: the way you wrote it now is that it's 5 meters of the ground, that means 5 meters above the ground to me and thus is not very useful to you as a person, would you reprase this?
Novaturient: change range to personal.

To answer your question: Yes, the user is required to submit the motion they had written since that written sentence is the enabler of the spells.
