Aside from being blessed with quite the fair feminine features, she also is able to enjoy the luxury of having a broad assortment of stylish outfits, courtesy of her family's wealth and influence. However, if one was to truly pick a detail about Seta's appearance, then it would be without a doubt her eyes. They are a clear blue color and often prone to be formed in a rather intense gaze, as if she is the type of person seeking out challenges wherever she goes. Nonetheless, she seems quite fond of her stylish white coat and a small case that is attatched to a holster, something she tends to call a 'Deck', whatever that might mean... Extra: Seta is always seen carrying a mysterious collection of cards from a famous game with her. Personality Personality: The first thing people likely notice with Seta is that for being the scion of a noblefamily, that she has a rather "rude" pattern of speech, her tone often somewhat boastful and arrogant. Prone to sarcasm, cleverly concealed rudeness and usually a selfish and power-lusting nature, Seta might appear as a no-nonsense and down-to-earth woman with a somewhat narcissistic side to her. While she might appear to act somewhat realistic, she can be rather clueless at times. However, while she might appear fairly condescending and scathing to most, there is the exception of her younger siblings, who she is known to treat with an intense amount of care and affection. However, this compassion also tends to be shown toward children, especially orphans as she herself was one once upon a time and knew what it felt like to be in such a dark and seemingly hopeless situation. While she might occasionally open up and perform kind acts, she tends to cover them up with sarcastic comments and deny her good intentions if asked. While she might be known for her snobbery and sense of superiority over others, as her motives are usually ruthless and rapacious and her personality traits appear to be selfish, snobbish, arrogant and that she would do almost anything to gain power, wealth, respect, glory or superiority, it seems those things might just be an outer facade to appear strong toward the outside world, and to protect the situation she and her siblings got thrown into. Despite Seta's self-centered, rapacious and elitist personality she remains known to be an intrinsically obstinate, astute, disciplined and conscientious individual who upholds a strong sense of ethical morals, for example, her disapproval of stealing and the belief that with great power comes great responsibility, and as a result her unusual benevolent demeanor toward the poor tends to cause a stark contrast to her usual mannerisms. She is also known as a perfectionist, her disdain for leaving things incomplete or doing something without effort quite adamant, as she is known to maintain a high standard of her talents, whether it's honing her mind with games like chess or improving her 'dueling' skills with her mysterious magic. Those who are born with it, and those who work toward it. One could say that the power of the nobility is clearly the former, and yet Seta obtained it in the latter method. Born to a small family in Fiore, Seta and her two younger siblings found themselves haunted by tragedy from a young age already. After a violent conflict between a group of outlaws and the village they lived in led to the cruel death of everyone they knew outside of each other, the two were forced into the life of an orphan from a young age. Send to Crocus to live in a small orphanage, the three inseparable siblings would likely have been destined for a future of mediocrity in the shadows of society. In the end, even if they had each other, Seta considered it her duty to take care of her younger siblings in the absence of their parents, and so she honed both body and mind to ensure she could be the best guardian possible for him, but little did she know that honing her mind would also lead her to a peculiar encounter with the master of the Kaiba household. A middle-aged man had visited the orphanage after rumors of a rather curious child living there, and yet he did the most mysterious thing one could imagine: he challenged Seta to a game of chess. The girl was quick to accept the offer, but on the condition that if she bested him he would grant her one wish if it was within his capacities. Amused by her confidence the man accepted, and like one could imagine Seta won their little duel. When she stated her wish: for her siblings to be given a warm home the man gave her another option: Become a member of his household and be trained to become his successor. It would be a harsh and hard education, but in return, her siblings would be given a peaceful place to call home. The bargain was quickly made, and from that day on she was Seta Kaiba. The man wasn't kidding when he declared the education would be harsh, in the end, she had to learn everything a noble would, from the art of politics to the art of combat, and while Seta disliked the cold nature of the world of nobility, she was determined to remain strong for her younger siblings. As long as they could have a peaceful and comfortable life... However, by sheer coincidence Seta and her siblings had returned to their hometown for a memorial service at the same time the siege upon Crocus took place, unaware of the events that would unfold, and the fact that just like most nobility, the Kaiba family would be affected quite strongly. Then again, she didn't care that much about who sat upon the throne, whether it was the king or someone else, as long as she could continue doing what she had been up to till now.... Reference: N/A |
