MagicEsperia V. Eisenberg Crocus, despite the certain charm the capital city had it became evident that the people of the Holy Capital were bracing themselves for the storm they would soon have to endure. Perhaps it was for that reason that Esperia had invited Liana to a place she knew the girl would feel at ease with: The Crocus Gardens. In the end, the gardens were the lushest landscape one could find in Crocus, and she was sure it would be a place her elfin friend would feel right at home at. Unfortunately, they had not come for sightseeing or making merry, no... Esperia had decided to take the time they had left to help Liana hone her combative skills and for them to see each other's abilities at work. Sebastian was already standing beneath the shade of a nearby tree, ready to offer his assistance should his master desire it, but for the time being, the obsidian-haired trickster was simply waiting for the arrival of her friend. "Don't worry my dear~ I promise I'll be gentle with your friend~" The demon lord coed softly, causing Esperia to sigh in amusement while looking up at the sky, at least the weather seemed nice today..." |

The Nature's Bonder
Along with the training Alisa had offered to Liana as not only a guildmate, but also a close friend, there was still something to be done. A certain spell to be trained, more precisely. Not knowing for sure what kind of threat she would be facing, the young Sylvaine at least has to worry about bringing out her full potential and avoid holding back. This spell too, wasn't just any other spell. If so, it was going to be her first truly offensive one. Knowing her, no one would ever thought she'd be actually willing to face any foe in such a manner. Though, in order to protect her friends, she might have to end up doing one of the things she fears the most.
A walk to the destination was made then, quiet steps performed along the path to the Crocus Gardens. She smiled as she remembered that was the place Esperia had planned to meet up with her. Of course it was. The elf is happy that the female Eisenberg knows exactly the one thing that makes her feel more at ease when in times of anxiety. Nature, that is.
Eventually, she closed in on the garden, from afar already noticing Esperia and who appeared to be her butler. She'd proceed to approach them, waving and smiling in the same manner as before.
"Hey, Sebastian. Hey, Esperia. How are you two doing?"

Eisenberg Liana's cheerful greeting brought a smile to Esperia's lips, a light raise of her hand and a cheerful wave leading to her greeting of her elfin friend while Sebastian bowed lightly toward her. "Good morning Lady Liana." He said in his usual polite yet friendly-sounding tone. Esperia was pretty much a bundle of joy and excitement, bouncing before her friend and trying to gently embrace her before taking a step backward to smile at her. "Morning Lia~ I'm doing fine, thank you for asking, and I'm glad you were able to come at such a short notice." The girl smiled softly as she raised a hand to her cheek, a more thoughtful look crossing her visage. "With the upcoming battle it's important we learn a bit more about each other's fighting styles. You already can imagine: Fia is a close-quarters brawler who can alter her body size to inflict massive damage, but my magical abilities are a bit different." The girl hummed softly while soon continuing her explanation. "Asmodeus suggested a little training session with her, she said that she knows something about your existence as an elf that might prove to be very useful to know. Liana returned a bow in Sebastian's direction, finding it only polite. He was a person like any other, for her at least. For the female Eisenberg, he was his butler, so it was reasonable that she didn't exactly need to bow down to him. Her attention is then brought back to Esperia, her arms spreading out and wrapping around the other's torso to offer her back the gentle embrace. "As long as I get to spend time with you, I don't care if it's on short notice." The girl responded, releasing her friend and allowing her to step back to continue listening.
She merely nods at the other girl's first sharing of information. She has never seen how Fia truly fights, after all. Only that she heats up a lot. Now to know that she could alter her body size was impressive. Her head questioningly tilts to the side at the following statement though.
"Asmodeus?"
After all, the elf never saw Esperia in the form of her new magic. She would still respond to the next question though, nodding once. "Well, I've been like this for a while now and never came to dislike it. So I guess I'm feeling great." She responded, giggling once at the end.

Just like usually a familiar cocoon of black energy wrapped around her, and moments later shattered to reveal the obsidian-haired demon lord. "Why hello there my dear Liana~" The demon lord coed with a smile as she stepped closer to her, seemingly bending a bit over to adjust the slight different in their height while she mused softly. "It's still the first time I'm seeing a human turned into an elf, even if your essence feels a lot like one. What makes it important I teach you a bit about them before we train~ However, first introductions: My name is Asmodeus, but you can use my real name Lilith if you desire so~" The demon lord hummed softly while lightly stretching upwards, letting her ample bosom bounce lightly while she continued. "Don't be too surprised my dear~ I know a fair bit among your kin since two of my companions are quite similar to elves, in fact you could call them 'dark elves'." The demon lord explained with a smile as she continued. "But first I should teach you about your greatest weakness as an elf, shouldn't I?" |

The elf's eyes widen for a moment. This was the first time hearing that Esperia was the vessel of someone, and especially of a demon. It never truly came to her mind, she could have never guessed that her friend had a pact with something, that well... Was supposed to be evil. Either way, they have known each other for quite some time now, and the fact that the female Eisenberg protected her with her own life, which she almost lost, was enough proof to know that she didn't actually turn vile.
She only nods, observing as Esperia is shrouded in darkness, and then, from within, came the demon she was talking about. Asmodeus. The girl blinks, the first thing she noticed was the fact that her friend had suddenly turned into a full adult. Being the closet pervert that she was, a few of her gazes would lower down to her chest area, but she quickly disguised it by almost instantly shifting her attention back up at the woman's eyes.
"H-Hello..."
Liana responds to the greeting with one of her own, leaning back just slightly as the other female lowered down.
"It's... Nice to meet you, Lilith..."
She was still somewhat surprised, somewhat taken back by the sudden revelation. It really wasn't something she expected. Dark elves were mentioned then and thankfully she wasn't really aware of the kind of relationship that her kind of elves have with the former. Additionally, she's not exactly pure, so she wouldn't hold any hatred if there was any.
Talks of weaknesses came then. Indeed, Liana didn't yet know what kind of weaknesses she possessed now that she became an elf. She can easily guess some strengths, though not weaknesses. In grown curiosity, the late teenager nods, now staying still and listening.

"To explain it is a simple way: Elves are closely connected to nature, and you can likely guess already what nature is strong and weak against, right?" She paused for a moment as she raised her hands up toward chest-height. "The first thing-" She raised one hand slightly as she continued "Is to keep in mind Nature prospers in the warmth of light, so while you are able to endure light spells more strongly than most, it also comes with a downside~" She lowered the hand and raised the other as she continued. "Just like nature withers in the cold embrace of darkness, so does Nature possess a weakness to spells of the darkness element. As a result you got to be extremely careful as an elf. For you a strong darkness spell could be devastating if it hits you... And the weakness to fire should be common-sense right? no plant or tree iikes fire~" Asmodeus smiled softly while gesturing at Sebastian. "Sebastian here, as a demon is immune to darkness, so he is the perfect ally to rely on in such moments~ If during the war we were to fight a dark mage, try to remain close to him so he can shield you from such spells." A gentle clap of her hands followed as she lowered her hands back to her side. "That's all for our current lessons~ I tell you more about elves another time~ For now, how about you show me some of your magic? It might be a surprise to you, but I control the element of nature also, so I know my fair deal of nature spells~" |

Liana could only listen for the most part. After the fact that darkness served as a weakness to nature made sense. After all, light is necessary for all plant life to survive. If there's no light, then they slowly start to succumb to the darkness that is eventually created. If there's no light, there's always darkness. A nod was offered as the elf appeared to understand now that her, as an elf, a bonder with nature, also suffers the same kind of drawbacks as any other plant in the world.
Once Sebastian was mentioned, a brief glance was offered at him as she nodded once more, understanding that, since he was Esperia's butler, surely he would be with them when the time comes for the mages to face the threat of Grimoire Heart.
"Thank you."
She responds. But now was time for the main purpose of their meeting. Training. To know about what each other is capable of. Since she now already knew what Fia and Esperia were able to do, she was the only one left to demonstrate her own abilities.
"Alisa has been training me and I'm very thankful for that. Along with her, I was not only able to create my own spells, but also formulate countless strategies with them. Though, I won't be able to protect Fia or Esperia if I at least haven't mastered this one spell. That's why I need your help."

Asmodeus hummed softly as she raised a hand up into the air, causing a flurry of flower petals to start rushing toward the palm of her hand and rapidly take the shape of a pink-colored lance that shattered back into petals a moment afterward. "Stand still for a moment Liana~" The demon lord hummed softly as she slipped sideways of the girl, crouching down to the height of her elbow as she lightly ran a fingertip against the blade. "Sharpness and durability isn't bad for a spell of that caliber, make sure to always keep a steady flow of mana into your elbow while using this spell, a stable and continuous flow of mana is important for spells like this. However, consider your mana reserves and time the usage of your spell carefully, in the end unlike Esperia you don't have the luxury of having an immense mana reservoir yet." She paused for a moment, trying to gently lift the girl's elbow as she continued. "Depending on its usage you could possibly use it as both a blade or a projectile~" Rising back to her full length the demon lord tried to slip behind Liana, leaning to the elf's ear in an attempt to take a playful nibble at the pointed end before snickering softly. "Hehehe~ couldn't resist trying to see what type of reaction it causes~ Did you know most elves their ears are sensitive? It's part of why they can hear better than humans. Either way, any questions or thoughts about your spell?" |

The girl observed every movement, though was more attentive to the words that were being shared, about ways for her to use her spell properly. At this point, she knew the woman was not a noob when it came to using magic. Liana isn't one either, at least not anymore. After learning from Alisa, she can already be easily considered a well-trained one. Though, she was aware that her mana reserves weren't so high yet and that's something she also needs to try and grow.
In the end, when Lilith slipped behind her, she returned to look forth, only to receive a totally unexpected nibble upon the pointed end of her ear. Even if she wasn't a pure elf, she could still feel the same as they do, that extreme sensitivity. Shivers went down her spine almost instantly and a strong blush quickly begins to round her cheeks.
"...--A-Ah!"
It obviously scared her too, especially since it was the first time they were ever messed with like that. It was the first time she understands that they are just that sensitive, much unlike when she was a mere human.
Thus, a step forwards was taken, and then she turned around, slowly keeping a hand near her ear, though not touching it. She looked away too, as to hide her brief embarrassment.
"N-No... I have no questions..." She responds to the following question in the end, closing her eyes for a moment as she does so.

Eisenberg A soft giggle escaped the demon lord's lips while she nodded her head in approval. Gods, that reaction just made teasing the elf all the more endearing to her. "Good~ Good~ If we're fortunate enough Sebastian might be able to contact Mare before Grimoire Heart arrives, he would be quite a boon to have at a time like this. By the way Sebastian, has there been any progress on finding the others?" Sebastian shook his head lightly while replying in an apologetic tone. "I'm sorry master, aside from Mare and Aura we have been unable to contact Shalltear, Cocytus or Demiurge, but I keep searching for their whereabouts." The demon lord pondered momentarily before turning toward Liana, a hand raised lightly for her head in an attempt to gently pet it. "I understand you might be worried, but stay strong Liana~ We'll have a lot of allies with us in this war, and I'm certain that if you, Fia and Espy work together the three of you will see the rise of a new dawn for sure~" A smile lingered on her lips as the demon lord started to change back into the form of the obsidian-haired trickster who Liana was so familiar with. "Lia~ Let's go and grab something to eat!" The girl declared happily, clearly in high spirits. [Exit][/color] |

Additionally, it could also be used as a blade or a projectile depending on how it's used.
They were indeed very interesting pieces of information, enough for her to actually bring it out and utilize the blade properly.
At the end, a nod was offered towards Lilith's final words, a smile eventually creeping up across her features.
"Thank you for the help, it's really appreciated." The girl says, actually thinking about telling the woman that she was going to keep Esperia safe only to remember that the person in front of her was just another form of her friend. One with a mind of its own, even.
