Finn felt fairly confident in his ability to limbo, so he made his way there first. He was flexible, strong, and able to push himself in odd situations. This even would be able to be his perfect chance to shine, and he'd even get a solid reward out of it. Making his way to the beach in his light blue swim trunks and nothing else, he ran down the beach. There was no smile on his face, despite the festivities. What lingered there barely passed as a grin. He was amused by what was going on, the high tempo catching his mind and distracting him partially from other matters. Still, with the events this recent, how could he expected to be fully overjoyed?

So instead he made his way to the beach with the intent of only shining through the events, so that he could help himself improve in the long run. He would make sure that no one would be able to put him and his guild through that again, and sometimes that took a small investment such as this. So getting in line for the limbo contest and giving a weak smile to those in line with him, he was ready to begin.

Anger. That was Maarschalks mood summarized up in one word; these events had unleashed a beast that slept deeply within the deepest closets of his sanity. Usually, when Maarschalk gets angry, he'd drink his sorrows away. So the happy smirk on his face that appeared when he walked past the bar where people drank themselves to death rejuvenated his emotions; but alas, that was going to be his next stop -- his footsteps already brought him to the limbo dancing. When Maarschalk stepped up to the plate, a familiar face appeared. This was the man he fought from a while ago, during the martial arts tournament, and he also met him when he intervened in Era. Perhaps this was going to be his only way of winning from Maarschalk?

"Interesting, I've not seen you in some time--though I may have changed faces, my name remained the same--that being Maarschalk."

He spoke to his contender; Maarschalk wore no weapons that day, although that limbo stick could be used in a lethal manner should the Blue Pegasus mage get rowdy because of Maarschalks presence, though, if he remembered the attitude that he observed in him, such a thing wouldn't happen--not here anyway.

Chelvaric had won the bucket race and he felt like he had increased some speed from the race. He was happy and it was very noticeable as he smiled brightly. He felt lucky so he would join some other event that was going on the beach. But what should he choose. There was a treasure hunt and some team games but he hadn’t seen Snow yet so he didn’t have a partner to team up with. But then he saw that there was a limbo going on. Maybe he should join that he beckoned to Elisa to follow him towards the place. It seemed to be fun you just had to go low under a huge stick all together and since he was a neko he could do it easily. He walked up to the people and started looking at the other people that were waiting to join. He recognized finn his team mate and walked up to him.

Hai finn how is it going? Are you having fun on our beach event so far.”, he would ask of finn while he eyed the guy in the bucket race that fell flat on its face with the bucket of water over him. Poor guy he tought.

Shin Katari
Shin made his way past the large crowds that surrounded the various ongoing beach events. Of all the ongoing events, it appeared only one remained empty. It was a limbo contest. The concept of the game was simple enough; go as low as you possibly could without hitting the long pole with any part of your body. Do this and you won. Flexibility was key and sure enough, Shin was confident in himself. However, the event was a little out of his comfort zone. He was not one that enjoyed partaking in silly events like this but alas, he was still on vacation despite the current news that had shaken up Phantom Lord. If anything, this would serve as a distraction.

Walking up to the line, he took up the fourth position. Of the three other contestants before him, he recognized the first male. He believed to have met him at some point in Era several months ago. He did not share a fond memory of the blond as the two engaged in a little spar. Although revenge would be sweet, now was not the time to attract unwanted attention. Instead, he would focus on the limbo contest and leave a winner.

As the contestants showed up, Finn greeted them each. Maarschalk received a nod from Finn, though not much else. Due to recent events he wanted nothing more than to focus on the tasks at hand. While this was an individual who he'd love to partake in combat with once more, he knew that other things came first. Besides, this was a day to relax and enjoy themselves. For the time being, he'd do his best to focus only on what was going on. The next to arrive was Chelvaric who greeted his guildmate. "Doing well, you?"

It was obvious he wasn't as full into the conversation as he normally would be, though maybe that was only to those who knew him better. Finn was not exactly close to either of the current contestants, and the third one who wondered over was no different. Finn had met him once before, an individual known as Shin. He had been a strange one, and to talk with him now likely wasn't smart. Instead, as the music began playing, they would all begin limboing. Finn would lead the way, and hope that he was able to make it to the next round.

It seems like Finn had ignored what Maarschalk had said, maybe this was a part of his stoic personality? Maarschalk glanced back at the limbo pole. The contestants were tasked with going under a long limbo stick, which was pretty peculiar, considering that the stick was almost as long as they were. Wasn't this, logically, going to be the most difficult for Maarschalk? Whose height stuck out like a sore thumb? Whatever the case was; all that was at hand was being more flexible than the rest. Agile, flexibility, and foot coordination. Such a task wasn't going to be impossible, but he wouldn't favor doing this on a normal Monday. Physical relaxation usually came from different types of sports, some people get physical relaxation by using things like yoga--not Maarschalk though, no, he is much too inpatient to start doing those kinds of frivolous hobbies. He wasn't brittle, but he also wasn't a superman in terms of agility, but he could school these kids, if he tried hard enough. As soon as the limbo stick was hoisted, the man began going lower and lower, hoping that he was the true victor. At a certain point, he could audibly hear his back crack.

Chelvaric looked at the people that had joined into the competition after he entered. It seemed someone he didn’t know but he looked like trouble. He just ignored him for that reason. He nodded to finn when he talked to him and awnsered. “I am doing good. May the best win.”, he said to him but felt like he acted a bit different then on the meeting. Maybe he was just focused on the competition. Which Chelvaric should be too. The music started playing and two guys in a skirt of leaves came to hold the bar.

All four of them walked up to the bar and started to hear some singing an a guy giving instructions. The moment he said go low the bar started to move towards them and they had no other choice then to dodge underneath it. He went low on his knees and went with ease underneath it. He wasa Neki things like this were easy for him but he did feel something twisting in his back. Elisa was keeping him in her view from the side lines and was hoping her master wouldn’t fall or lose the competition. She would be happy if he could win it.

Shin Katari
As the other three contestants exchanged pleasantries and the alike with each other, Shin kept to himself. He was never much of a people person and him being at a beach event like this was somewhat out of the ordinary. His goal wasn't to make friends but to win because winning was life.

Two men in skirts of leaves appeared with a long pole as music began to play. The music was loud enough that it would not distract the other event-goers. As the two men began to shimmy towards Shin and the others, the limbo contest had officially begun. One by one, the contestants attempted to brave the long pole of doom that was coming towards them. As the pole came closer to Shin, he decided to act. He moved towards the pole and judged the spaced between the pole and the sand. He was tall person himself but with enough coordination between his body, he was sure he could avoid falling. Bending his back, he began to waddle forward with the hope that he could avoid coming into contact with the pole. Being the last person to go, there was a special kind of pressure that came with. A pressure that Shin welcomed.

As Finn's fellow guildmate was the first to fail the game, Finn glanced in his direction for only a moment. How ironic it was for one of the men hosting the festivities to be one of the first eliminated. Finn glanced at his two remaining competitors and realized that as lighthearted as the event was, he could not afford to play around with it. Maarschalk had seemed slightly perturbed by Finn responding to him with only a head nod, but it hardly had registered to the young man. He held no more grudge, nor was he still negatively effected by his loss to the older man.

So the three of them listened as the music increased in pace, and as the limbo stick dropped ever lower. Finn sighed, spreading his feet wider and his arms further out as if they somehow could correct his awkward sense of balance. As he lowered himself, he began once again passing under the limbo stick in the hope that he could last until the end. He had almost lost just then, and he would have to make sure that he did not lose in only the second round. Preferable it would be to win the whole thing.

Alright. Maarschalk passed the first round. No sweat. Disregarding his abnormal height, he managed to pull it off while remaining nonchalant. He'd likely remain as nonchalant until he drops to the ground -- but until then, he had a tequila in one hand, and used his other arm in a dance. After he succeeded, and two others did, hit was his turn again. The furry boy, Finns alleged associate, did not make it. It amused him, tossing over a chuckle when his ass met the floor. When it was Maarschalks turn again, he began showing a nervous attitude. Pretending like it was no biggie. The limbo stick was a mere fifty centimeter off the ground now. He set his two feet forwards, and began doing the Michael Jackson slide backwards, lowering his back but bending his knee first; as if he was going to grab a box. He was going to win this. He was made for this. He could see the smiles and the amazement in the crowd as he lowered and kept lowering. The music was still blasting, the song Tequila by The Champs was being played. Maarschalk could feel his muscles tensing and cramping, and he lowered himself more bit by bit...

The limbo stick had claimed its first victim. The white haired fellow was the first to fall, drawing both cheers and groans from the crowd. Rolling his shoulders whilst shaking his arms and legs, he awaited the next round of the limbo contest. The pole was lowered until there was only fifty centimeters between the sand and the pole. Shimmying forward towards the contestants, the two men in skirt leaves called for the second round to begin.

He paid close attention to how the other two contestants went about attempting to avoid the pole. Both displayed awkward stances but admirable balance. Cracking his neck and taking a deep breath, Shin began to bend his back backwards. There was a slight pain ringing throughout his body as he was not used to flexing his body in a position like this. He waddled forward as best he could, doing his best to remain upwards and avoid coming into contact with the pole. The cheers of the crowd intensified as more and more onlookers appeared. Although this was supposed to be a fun game of limbo, it was more than that. There was a certain competitive atmosphere that lingered in the air. The other men did not plan to lose and neither did he.

Toe strength. The trick remained in the strength of the participants toes. How firmly could Maarschalk use his toes in order to keep his footing while moving? He was going to find out, after the Blue Pegasus' mage had been claimed by the limbo stick. The stick was at its lowest point, about thirty centimeters off the ground. For Maarschalk to go under it, he had to suck in his stomach. All those memories of him chugging away frosty beers and eating steaks at inns were starting to backfire. Was this really what his entire life built up to? Just to lose from a stranger in a match of Limbo? He'd certainly remember his face, in loss or win; his fire-y hair will candle a light deep down in Maarschalks core should he lose from this individual. He wouldn't be able to accept it. And just like that, it was his turn again, he'd dance around the limbo stick; inspecting it skeptically, as if it had secret magical properties. But, there was no time for kidding around further. Maarschalk danced to the front of the limbo stick, and begun going lower, and lower, and lower ... The task ahead is terrible, and weakness cannot be tolerated; with slumped shoulders, wild eyes, and a stumbling gait Maarschalk used all the strength in his toes to dance under the stick.

Two down, one to go.

Shin's last opponent was the tall, black haired fellow. It was surprising that despite his tall stature, he was able to balance his body exquisitely. However, this was no time to stand in awe and admiration. He had a game of limbo to win. The limbo pole was lowered another twenty centimeters, leaving a painful thirty centimeter gap. With that small of a gap, someone was bound to get hurt. It was going to either be Shin or his opponent.

As the music volume was raised, the crowd intensified in their cheers. This was the final round of limbo. It was winner take all. Looking at the man before him, Shin took note of his form. Sucking in the stomach would be key. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Shin bent his back and sucked in his stomach as much as possible. He dug his feet into the sand and waddled forward one last time with the hope of victory. He moved to the music allowing his mind to control his body. Avoiding falling and coming into contact with the pole at the same time with as little space as thirty centimeters was a seemingly impossible task. If anyone could do it though, it would be the phantom lord mage.

Arisa itched the back of her head as she walked towards this last event game. So far she has won three games out of a random number. She didn't feel like counting on how many games there were and she didn't want to be reminded on how she missed out on the bikini contest. Blushing slightly she remembered that a certain someone was in the last event with her which made her smile. Her hands held each other in front of her against her pelvis. Her violet hair was swaying with the wind by each strand as they were unpredictable. For this challenge she decided to wear sporting shorts that were pink and white, a tank top that was black, tucked under her shorts and she had no shoes. 'Wonder who will be here for this last one.' she thought and looked up at the sky. She waited as she walked around, studying the area. There were bushes of flowers that were pretty, butterflies that swarmed the beauty of nature that they lived on about. Arisa wasn't sure on how limbo will be for her since she's never done it. The only thing she's done that was bar related was to exercise and that was about it. Finally, she stood by the stick that they were going to use for this game.

After the bucket event, Hyōen tried to find Coda. She had flown away somewhere, and while he had dropped the bucket in an unfortunate result of contest, he didn’t notice what damn direction that she had flown at. It worried him a lot, so when the contest ended, he barely paid attention to who won and simply went out to find Coda again. He dashed across the hot sand to try and spot Coda and where she was, but for the most part, the huge sun stood in the way. Pretty annoying for his sight, since he was looking up at the sky and trying to locate her vermillion wings.

“Darn, she could be anywhere,” he mumbled once he stumbled upon another area in the beach, an area that specified another contest that would be held very soon. Once realizing where he stood at, he looked at Ana who had also moved to this contest as well. This contest didn’t look very familiar, though, so he had to find out what the objective here was. There was a long stick, though, so that did add to the curiosity too, but he never heard of the word ‘Limbo’ before. It was pretty strange.
