Kaito

Kaito having cleaned up the first building and knowing that the person said it was a very bad infestation he knows that he needs to make sure that they rats are being dealt with correctly and not one was half assing the job so he was paying close attention to how his team was working on this quest as he himself walked toward the building that he was taking on with Revy and the wolf masked girl who seems very nervous about loosing control but Kaito comforts her as he knows that she can control it her inner beast and behind her was the newest add on to the team he was a mecha of some sort but for the moment he didn't speak but followed the wolf masked girl around and Kaito had no idea why but he just let it go on as she didn't seem to mind him and Kaito needs to test him as well to see what he can do if he wants to stay on the team.

The boy's eyes are a bright emerald color and he seemed to be somewhat smart just that he couldn't tell them what he had seen or the things he knows but Kaito figured that he must be in this country for some reason cause he stuff on him doesn't look like it was made or gained in this country, he might be a spy from a different country Kaito was nearly tempted to look at the old beaten up book he carried around for the answer but he didn't see the fun in just having a mystery solved for him as that just took the fun out of living it himself as he was not one to relay too heavily on something. He knows the book has saved him from trouble a few bits of the time. He leads them into the building and the rats are already acting reckless and rowdy which means the rats are knowing they are being attacked on more than one front and the robot boy gets in front of the girl and his arm opened up and there was an energy sword held inside of it.

The boy starts battling back the rats and the girl transforms and she goes into help him and Kaito watches them, he fires off a random beam or dimensional energy to keep them safe as this is a test to their team work as most of his team work in twos unless they do not want to work in a team or if they want to work as a three man. He is proud of what he sees so far even if he has intervened a few times to help them to keep it going but still they show a decent amount of promise to be a team he can let off the leash to quest together safely though he will make sure that they are staying to the lower rank of quests so they don't take on a mission that is above their levels. He keeps beaming rats that are getting close to himself now as the two have seemed to work out a system to protect themselves.

The girl smells and hears and relies the info to the boy with subtle movements and the boy seemed to have some kind of mana sensing radar as he blocks attacks from the rats that could probably do damage if they were to hit them, he will really have to look into finding out what they can fully do but now was just a slight hands off test for them which means he is just to observe and not interfere in their test. Kaito is watching and taking note of the mistakes they are making to better current them later when they are free from the stresses and the weights of the battle that they are waging as they go Kaito is starting to get a bad feeling as he instead of staying back, he moves forward so that he is in front of them instead as something tears through the door and Kaito slashes the thing that came through the door and he is glad that he had acted on his instincts.

The girl and the boy are a bit taken aback by him doing this but they saw what had happened when he had done it and they sigh as they hadn't detected it and were about to just walk right up to it without a second thought. If they had that would have been hurt Kaito open the door and there are two giant severed rat fingers on the floor and they keep walking even deeper into the place and they look around because that means that there has to be something here or there may be another way around that they are missing. Kaito lets them take point again and they nod and move on ahead of him and the wolf girl smells around as she keeps going forward and she follows the blood trail to lead her where the rat that had came for their lives was and she signals to the boy the way and then they took off running and Kaito was left in their dust and Kaito sighed.

Kaito followed after them as he gets they are feeling a bit cocky but this was not the time for that and he wasn't going to let them get themselves killed as if they get hurt a few of the others will have his head rat her he is their leader or not that would matter little while they hunt him for his head and that was what was going to not happen here as he catches up to them and they are facing a giant rat that was blowing fire at they and he had to admit the was a new one and he was not use to seeing that as he and Revy cheer them on as they find their openings and strike as the rat keeps looking to Kaito when he cheers and distracts it to help them as that wasn't against his own rules. The two children take the enemy down and the seal off the sewers and they come back to Kaito who walks them out to get paid.
