Hair: Auburn Eyes: Hazel Overall: Kai is a tall young adult that tends to hunch seeming shorter then he really is, he has slightly wavy hair that when loose reaches to between his shoulder blades and covers most of his face. The color of his hair is a reddish-brown auburn with traces of blonde streaks, his hazel eyes can seem intense or kind depending one lighting. His physique is more on the broad looking side like he is big but not heavily muscled. He dresses in a red sleeveless shirt with a black short sleeved jacket he keeps open, with a black cloak with red lining over it and black gloves covering both of his hands, black pocketed pants with blood red shoes, his face is hidden behind a battered white mask with a wind design on the left side going from top to bottom. Extra: Kai has a scar that runs across his back from his right shoulder to the lower left side of his back and both of his palms have a symbol burned into it, his left has yin and his right has yang, and his nose is slightly bent to the side toward the end. PERSONALITY Personality: Kai has a hot and cold personality, his master referred to his personality as quick changing as the wind blows. He often stays closed off to others unless they seem to genuinely be interested in him, but for the most part stays distant from others, but if he does open up he is a loyal and die hard friend/teammate. He can swap on a dime. he is swift to lose interest in things to wonder off to the next thing that catches his interest as the wind blows. He would rather die to protect the people he comes to care about, he has a deeper kinder side that is hidden behind his need to remain distant from others, He can go from laughing and being the life of the party with people he trusts to just disappearing to be alone and none responsive if someone he is uncomfortable were to show up. He can be hyper active going a hundred miles an hour and taking charge then the next he is aloof and feels no need to do anything. He can go with the flow or he can be super stubborn and argue with someone giving him orders if he sees them unfit to lead or if he feels he has a better idea on how to handle a situation to minimize loss's or maximize gains for the job. When times get dark he feels fine to crack jokes to try and get morale to raise a little and maybe get more fight or hope to keep them fighting or look like the ass of the joke while helping others see the light in the dark. Magic Enhancement: Double Elemental Magic Magic Description: "You ever feel that cold chill up your spine, feeling that ill omen of a foreboding wind of misfortune?" This magic is a swift icy breeze across your neck, to hit you from a far, to get up in your face sooner or maybe keep you in place to let others deal with you you never know what may face you if you take on a user of this magic. HISTORY History: His early life was filled with pain and suffering, he was kept in a dark musty cell between times when they would take him out to do tests on him trying to figure out how they could weaponize his cursed body or replicate the curses effects(role/plot), his tormentors were a small group of dark mages looking to see how they could use this child's curse. They would move him around in a dome of magic, cause the slightest skin to skin contact with him would cause the person that touched him to suffer leaving no physical damage but causing them to suffer mentally feeling a random effect for the amount of time they were touching him. The day came that their compound was attacked, during the fighting Kai and other test subjects were freed, not wanting their major test subject to get away one of the dark mages slashed Kai across the back, leaving him badly wounded as he stumbled out far slower then the other subjects that were more use to walking, he stumbled off out into the forest and falls flat face first into a shallow creek. A elven woman with a scythe on her back and blonde hair braided down to her mid back with a single scar across her nose finds him in such a sorry state, her emerald eyes scan him a bit judgingly but she gets closer to him to help him up, he looks at her and tries to tell her not to touch him. She ignores these signals and touches his arm making skin to skin contact she feels as if her heart has stopped beating and feels cold as ice releasing her grip from his arm she takes a moment to catch her breath then looks at kai who moves his remaining sleeve over his own arm like his captures would do if they had to touch him then weakly grips his own arm with his hand, she understands and pulls out a cloak and uses some spare clothes and rolls him in the cloak then lifts his skinny boney body. She stops at her camp and cleans out his wound and tells him this is gonna hurt then she puts on a glove and she starts stitching his wound as he held still being use to being hurt and the pain of being poked and put through torture. Being intrigued in this boy and feeling he would probably be dead if she didn't take him under her wing, so she took him to the place she called home, she first started by teaching him to read, write, and use manners. She quickly realized his distrust in humans figuring out they must of been who treated him so poorly, she taught him against this or any hate for different races and gives him the name Kaito. He began his years of weapons and magic training on the road along with basic survival skills with his now master/adopted mother. He is not slow to pick up her hard, strict but fair training, learning to handle himself in a fight to be a spellsword like her, she reminds him not to be cocky just because he is finally not just stick and bones, to remain kind, and never forsake a friend to save your own skin no matter what. His magic as his master called it is an unfavorable wind that will lead him forward to the future. Needing to prove his worth to be able to journey out into the world he needed to do one last mission with his master. The last mission/task was an easy bodyguarding job protecting a merchant as he traveled to and from the event in an outskirts town in Bosco territory cause they were more well know for being rougher and tougher to deal with. The trip was really nothing exciting to the event mostly just random wild animals needed to be spooked away or the odd high way man looking for a quick buck or their next big find. They arrived safe and sound to the event, not knowing that this might end in a small tragedy for their client, the first few days of the event went fine besides Kai catching a few thieves trying to steal, then day three began and the test of courage and strength where gonna take place in the center of the plaza they are set up in, as the two giant and very well built men fought fist to fist for who the stronger and better fighter, Kai sights a small demi-human cat girl that looks dirty and her clothes well worn sneaking into a merchants tent and follows after her, sneaking in behind her trying to be as quiet as he can, she then turns seeing him as she has her arms full of stolen food and panics toppling over backwards knocking over a table with a lantern setting the tent a blaze and she makes a run for it taking what still remained in her grasp kai looks at the fire then to her and then runs the way she went running the tents fire is spreading around as he goes looking for her and after a small amount of time he tracks and finds her trapped in a shop with old timey pieces of art and what some would call junk it is now on fire and she is in side clearly panicking, he adjusts his mask and cloak then runs in through the flames to try and help her and as he is a about to reach her a heavy metal piece with an odd design falls from a burning shelf he jumps slightly and a magic circle appears around him cloaking him in wind helping him reach her in time and as he holds the piece up it burns through his gloves and into his palms, he shifts the weighty item away from her and gets her into his arms which is still covered by what is left of his cloak and out of the shop, his master meeting him there and carefully tending to his hands and wrapping them then she moves to the girl that has minor burns but is for the most part unhurt. Their client walks up and berates them for not saving his stall first before saving a street urchin like that demi-human and without thinking Kai slaps the client and roars "that is not how you weigh values." his master bows and walks off with kai and the demi-human girl. His master takes them back to their home then gives Kai the okay to go to explore the world and maybe join a guild and take on new challenges, make new friends and work on breaking his curse then draws the blowing wind design on his mask saying to make you look a little less scary but if you need to be take this she hands him a box with a red and black kitsune mask and with that Kai took off to start his own adventure. |
