"Let's see... I'll have a latte and a croissant.", asked Alisa, stocking clad legs crossed elegantly as she flashed the blonde waitress that cool smile she always had. The sight reminded of her the girl she'd met the other night, not due to any real resemblance - they acually looked nothing alike beyond a similar shade of blonde - but rather because of how easily her thoughts drifted to Xandra.

Sitting nonchalantly at the cafe on a lovely - if clouded - afternoon, allowed her mind freedom to roam wherever it pleased as she took in her surroundings, the fresh, almost dewey scent of Hargeon park, mixed with the fragrant coffee coming from the indoors. So long as it didn't rain, she'd much rather sit outside and watch the few people nearby as the walked through the park; some past the cafe, others towards it, and a few away from it...

A cool, but gentle gale caressed the exposed skin on her shoulders and upper body with the smoothness of a lover's touch, earning a content sigh as she brushed a stray dark lock behind her ear, away from her face. She gazed upwards into the cloudy skies; The weather had darkened somewhat in the past few days, a thin mist cloaking the air for the better part of today. The temperature had dropped too, but compared to the searing heat of the summer, she found this slight chill far more comfortable, and dressed accordingly.

All in all, Alisa moved away from the glamour she wore during nights out and instead went for a more approachable, girl next door look: Dark, silky hosiery hugged her long, shapely legs, contrasting with the loose white sweater draped comfortably around her torso. A garment easily long enough to double as a short dress, which was exactly how Alisa wore it as... And the pièce de résistance? A tiny red hairclip matching her eyes.

She flaunted a visible, yet reasonably modest cleavage, courtesy of the wide neck of her garment draping gracefully down her shoulders; just tight enough not to slide too far down unto her full bust and ruin the casual, youthful elegance she desired... Plenty of people looked her way as they passed by, but none stimulated her interest beyond the occasional cursory glance, leaving the artist to pet the candle like creature named Lumen as it sat next to her with a cute look on its face:

"I wonder what's she's up to...", Alisa thought out loud, thinking back on the events of that night that she still somewhat remembered, furrowing her brow as she tried recalling some more. She couldn't help but wonder how much the girl would actually remember either...

The sun gracefully shined upon the vicinity that was adorned with vegetation, allowing the slightly chill air to lure in the wander-lusting breeze that gently swirled around the area. Attracting the larger population of people who simply wanted to enjoy the tranquil weather was a small cafe, residing in the midst of the park, where families and couples, children and youngsters entered and existed one after the other. The Knight was no different.

Strands of her long, blonde hair danced freely and wildly as they were caressed by the wind, only to be passed onto the chilling air of the in-built conditioning. The female was clad in a simple black shirt which hid underneath the olive green, full-sleeved jacket that protected her arms from the cold. Her long, slender legs hid underneath the black denim jeans that eventually ended along her ankle, allowing her feet to be concealed by the heeled black boots that demanded the ebony laces to be tied upfront.

Sauntering towards the counter where the queue was short, she halted her steps, letting her mouth water and her stomach give out a small growl. For the past few days, Xandra couldn't help but fall into the abyss of her thoughts ever so often. The night where she allowed herself to let loose and be influenced by alcohol had completely slipped past her mind. The only she thing that flashed before her eyes every time she thought about it, was the smiling face of the raven-haired beauty who introduced herself as Alisa.

Walking towards the counter, she looked at the waitress, "I'll have a sweet cappuccino....and a piece of chocolate cake." Her monotonous voice told the waitress who let out a smile and then a nod, asking the knight to take a seat as she awaited her order. Turning back, the female noticed the lack of free spaces within the cafe and decided to saunter back out, where a few tables and chairs anticipated the arrival of customers.

She pushed through the door, letting the fresh air evade her nose as she took a deep breath. Her ears perked up at a sound, scarcely audible, so much so that it was nothing but a murmur to her. It was as if fate had pulled its strings, guiding the female onto the path of remembrance. She looked to her right, only to see a familiar individual. Heat immediately rushed to her face, warming up her body in the process and the blonde could not register why. It was as if her body remembered what her mind couldn't. Taking a moment to stare at the woman who had not yet noticed her, she proceeded to move forward only to halt her steps once she stopped before the empty chair, "Mind if I sit here?"

Even the cloudy skies cleared up overhead faster than the ones in her memories, leaving Alisa alone with the notion that she could ponder all she wanted, yet none of that would bringer any closer to the truth. In the end she leaned back on the chair lazily, knowing she'd have to see it for herself. Several days had passed since that night and she hadn't see the girl since, making her wonder if perhaps the likely busy Rune Knight wouldn't have left town... She hoped not.

And then she saw her. Tall and stylish - clad in jeans and green jacket - yet not nearly as cheery as she'd been when they met that night. Alisa's smile widened as fate had brought her its greatest gift yet, wine red eyes following the stunning blonde and wondering when she'd see her. She couldn't help but run a hand over her hair and then down her sweater, hoping everything looked perfect by the time Xandra finally noticed...

...Only she didn't.

She couldn't even tell whether the girl had actually spotted her or not, but just the lingering doubt that she might not have recognized her brought an unpleasant aching deep within Alisa chest, her perpetual smile fading for a moment. Though she didn't yet fully remember just how far she'd gone to ingrain their night in the girl's memory, she knew she wanted more time. She looked down and towards the side, towards the little candle with yellow eyes and cute purple flame, petting it's waxen cheeks, something that always helped put a smile on her face

But then she heard it: Xandra's voice brought her back from her absent mood, her eyes widening somewhat. This surprise lasted for only an instance as her face once more lit up into the radiant smile the girl may or may not remember, a shade of red visibly setting in her cheeks the longer she looked, "Xandra...! Of course, you're very welcome to~", answered the delighted sculptress, taking a moment to realize this greeting was closer to that of a stranger than someone close.

It was then she understood she'd need to help jog her memories even more so than Alisa herself, but even then couldn't help but reach one hand out halfway across the table, idly resting it within reach of Xandra. She didn't really realize it herself, but some of those fuzzy memories instinctively drove her towards physical contact with the beauty before her:

"So, how have you been?", her tone was cool and graceful, but caring and relaxed, like it would be to someone she knew well enough, resting the other elbow on the table and leaning in slightly, "I was wondering what you'd been up to..."

She looked into the shimmering lilac pools of the blonde's eyes with interest, wondering if she might somehow spot any sign of rememberance on her part...

Nodding her head lightly in greeting, she felt joyous over the fact that the familiar stranger recalled her. The blonde pulled back the seat before leisurely sitting down. It was hard to deny that she felt awkward. The rate of her heartbeat increased rapidly as the various scenarios of the forgetful night jogged through her mind, bringing forth nothing but a stinging headache.

The knight was dragged out of her thoughts by the honey-like voice of the beauty that sat across her. Her lilac eyes drifted towards her slim and smooth hand that rested halfway over the wooden table before they returned to meet her own crimson irises. Monotony remained still on her face, enough to give the other a wrong idea but what could the blonde possibly do? It wasn't that she didn't want to talk and display her emotions through her expressions, it was simply that she didn't know how to.

Nodding once again, she paused for a moment before decided to verbal out her response, "I've been good, just doing stuff around town." Eerily enough, she felt that she had established a certain level of comfort around Alisa. Her fingers moved her lap where she subconsciously started playing with them. An awkward silence settled among the two but Xandra felt the sudden urge to rid their unknown relationship of any misunderstandings.
"I'm sorry, I'm not very good at....talking."

Yet, she still wanted to put in more effort. Not simply because she wanted to recall what happened, but also because she wanted to become closer with the one person who had seen her at possibly her best, or worst. That, only time and memory could tell. The two women were disrupted by the waitress breaking apart their gaze as she placed the two trays on the table, containing their orders. The blonde's face immediately lit up at the sight of the cake while she murmured a small 'thank you' but her mind suddenly went blank as a picturesque fragment of her memory flashed before her eyes.

She, only now, recalled a moment where she yelled out something to the beautiful woman before her.
Raising her head to look at the female, she spoke gently, "Did you get home safely that night?" Indeed that was all she remembered; the last few moments with her new partner before she collapsed in her intoxicated state. It was rather unusual but the urge to find out what had happened tugged at her heart. "Uh, I don't really remember what happened that night." She paused, "Except a few things, of course." Another pause followed as she let out a small and awkward, if not embarrassed cough, "Did I perhaps, do something, um, you know-" The female didn't know how to put it in words, it would slightly injure her pride to say the word 'embarrassing', mostly because she was too terrified of the answer, so she stuck to a more appropriate term, "Unneeded?"

She wasn't the only one. Alisa too beamed the moment she realized her new friend actually and truly remembered her, her face lighting up with unmistakable delight. She didn't even mind the girl's bored and serious look, for she understood the blonde a fair bit better than that:

"That's nice. There's a lot more to Hargeon than the nightlife, after all.", she probably didn't sound as witty as she'd have liked, but the longer she waited for Xandra to say something, for herself to say something, the more awkward the silence grew. She gulped as ann uneasy feeling sunk deep in her stomach, an unpleasant though she couldn't quite shake 'what if we only got along so well because of the alcohol?'. She could very well describe it as her greatest fear after establishing the beautiful knight did indeed remember her... But thankfully, Xandra broke the silence with an apology, to which Alisa just waved her hand, "It's quite alright... I needed plenty of practice myself, before I got like this."

The Pegasus seemed perfectly at ease with whichever side of herself Xandra revealed, wanting for nothing more than to feel as close to her sober as she felt while intoxicated. No, closer even, if fate were to allow such ambition... Soon, the waitress had arrived with their food, the best icebreaker they could ask for right now. Alisa too smiled at the woman as she placed her coffee and croissant and before her, and smelling it, the little candle named Lumen hopped up on the table.

"Oh, you two hadn't met before. Xandra, meet Lumen.", Alisa introduced with an adoring smile as she petted her impossibly cute partner, who grinned cheerfully with an overjoy hum, "Lumen, this is Xandra."

Looking up at the night with big yellow eyes, the litwick bowed its head slightly in greeting. Reclining back on her chair, Alisa crossed her legs and picked off a bite sized piece of her croissant, feeding it to her hungry partner.

"I did. I trust you found your way to your room as well?", she only had faint flashes and memories from the last words they exchanged, enough to look back into Xandra's eyes with a visibly appreciating look, welcoming the girl's concern.

That sign of insecurity easily fell into the radar that were Alisa's keen eyes, and with it a fresh reminder of the last time she'd seen it, and with it, the only thing Xandra had done that night that she expressed shame about:

"That, you did not~...", a lighthearted, yet thoroughly comforting chuckle left Alisa's lips as she recalled a scene she'd all but forgotten, where the girl before her expressed her annoyance in a way so vehement even she herself felt ashamed, "I only remember bits and pieces myself, but I know you didn't do anything I wouldn't have done myself."

Her choice of words was hardly accidental. As that image flashed before her mind, she all but repeated the same answer she'd given her then, word for word. But the longer she talked, she couldn't shake the feeling that she herself had done something she probably shouldn't. Something she defenitely wanted to do, but shouldn't... Her cheeks reddened once more in that brief instant as she curled her lower lip with a faintly flustered sign, that thumping in her chest coming back with a vengeance the longer she thought about this:

"What... What about me...?", she asked, akwardly scratching behind her ear as her gaze turned away, then fixing her hair as her eyes shifted back to Xandra's, slowly but curiously, a hint of the more modest side she'd shown before, "I hope I did nothing I shouldn't have..."

Her gaze beamed with fascination as she was introduced to a small, living creature which appeared to be a litwick, named Lumen. Her eyes scarcely widened as the creature nodded in greeting, to which she too responded with another nod. The idea of a small creature, who she didn't think would be classified as an animal, being so intriguing was truly enough to momentarily take her attention away from her queries about the night that she did not remember.

Grabbing the fork, she dug it into the slice of her cake prior to hauling it over to her mouth before she bit into it. The chocolaty flavor melted in her mouth as she felt a tad bit calmer. The racing of her heart had declined its pace as she felt herself getting more comfortable around Alisa. It wasn't usual for her to do so but it appeared that the bond they created thanks to their intoxicated consciousness which had compelled the female into falling into a tranquil state of lull when around this familiar woman, who her mind recalled to be no more than a stranger with a name, but her heart tugged at the string of friendship that the two had already knotted.

"Ah, yeah. I did." She paused as she picked up her cup, lifting it to her lips to devour a small sip of the warm drink, "I think." Muttering in a small voice, she proceeded to take sips of her sugar indulged coffee once again. Upon the raven-haired woman's words, a small sigh escaped her as subconsciously, a smile tugged at her lips. She felt relieved that she didn't do anything embarrassing but what was more alluring at that moment was the fact that she hadn't realized that she smiled so naturally in front of anyone. Once she did however, which was mere moments later, it slowly faded off as she fell into an array of thoughts. She felt happy but never before had she managed to convey it through her expressions. The feeling simply felt so foreign.

Just when she thought that her curiosity couldn't climb higher on the ladder of her forgotten memories, it just so managed to as the noticed her partner fading into a blush. Unknowingly, her body reacted similarly as she felt her cheeks grow hotter. "Not that I can remember." Gulping down this unfamiliar feeling that she had, Xandra felt that it was truly right for Alisa to know her for who she truly was instead of a drunkard who managed to get intoxicated within a few sips.

Letting out a cough, she wiped her hands on her thighs as they became moist with sweat. "Um, I don't really know what kind of a person I was when I was drunk but," Inhaling a deep breath, she felt a little awkward as she wasn't used to doing something like this. In fact, she had never before done something like this which perhaps became all the more reason for her to want to go through with it, "Would you like to be friends with the slightly boring me?" Letting out the breath she had unintentionally held, her heart raced fast as she felt a sense of joy and stinging nervousness hit her. The blonde didn't know why she felt that way, and why she was acting that way but perhaps, this was a way for her to morph herself into a slightly more open person.

The artist took a small bite off her croissant, enjoying the slightly sweetened flavor before letting her litte partner savor it again in another tiny piece. Resting her elbow over the armrest and her cheek on her hand, her eyes shifting between Lumen and the attractive blonde who she'd just been introduced to, finally settling on the latter as she pet her partner. She still had that soothing, uplifting presence the dark haired woman remembered, as one of the few people who could set the normally wary and careful crystal user completely at ease. Her smile looked no less stunning than it did last time - perhaps even more so with how rare and discreetly it appeared on her sober self - and in turn made Alisa's own smile look ever more radiant.

"Hmmm... I might just walk you to your room next time.", while reassured by the answer, the girl with the eyes of violet sounded uncertain enough for the caring sculptress to suggest being extra certain she made it back safely. Despite sounding somewhat lighthearted, playful even, her words came off as genuine as she felt them, as earnest as the redness in her face.

Alisa didn't really know why her cheeks suddenly felt warmer, nor did she miss the conspicious blush on those of her drinking buddy. Coincidence? Not likely... Attentive as she was, the sculptress wasn't one to believe in coincidences... But that didn't change the fact neither of them remembered anything clear, so she silently hoped she hadn't done anything too bad as she pushed away those thoughts for now, sighing in relief as Xandra allayed her concerns.

...And after that, it was her turn to alleviate the blonde's:

"No, I don't think you're boring at all~", Alisa smiled and shook her head before sipping her coffee, not pausing for too long after the first negative. She could tell whatever insecurity she'd sensed in Xandra before paled in comparison to the one she had now... Little did she know she herself had taken such a plunge last time they were together, and would likely not have done it if not under the influence. But even not knowing this, she admired the girl's courage for overcoming what must have been a grueling barrier she placed upon herself, returning her desire without hesitation, "I'd love to call you my friend.", and silently acknowledging how she already saw her as such. Crossing her arms over the table, she leaned into it once more, holding the girl's gaze as she praised her as openly as only an honest woman like Alisa possibly could, "Your state of mind might have been different between then and now... Yet both sides of you are just as beautiful."

While she might not be as chatty as when she was wasted, it didn't really deter from her charm in Alisa's eyes. The sculptress simply had to look harder, read the hints of emotions on her pretty face instead of hearing it from her calm voice. When the ruby eyed Pegasus found someone as wholly interesting as the girl before her, very little could convince her otherwise. And even though she didn't remember why she had these feelings, every moment spent with her only made them grow.

She wanted to know more about her, watch her be herself at her most comfortable... And simply figuring out where to begin proved a challenge for Alisa: "Are you heading anywhere special...? Once you finish your coffee.", she'd ask, cocking her head ever so slighly, her hand rubbing her cheek curiously...

Her face evidently softened as all signs of frustration suddenly escaped her body as if she was released from the chains that held her down. Breathing a sigh of relief, she felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted off her shoulder. For the blonde, it was a first that she ever attempted to approach anyone even though the two females already knew one another, their minds were still clouded with forgetfulness. It was truly a wonderful feeling.

She felt herself relaxing as she casually dug into the piece of cake that sat before her, waiting to be devoured. The chocolate flavor that burst in her mouth allowed her to momentarily forget everything and simply enjoy the time she spent with her new friend. It would be appropriate to say that she felt like a young, giddy child who was excited to have finally found someone to play with but whatever the case, she wasn't to blame.

It came as no surprise that the gourmand Knight took little to no time to leave the small plate spotless before letting out a scarcely audible moan because of the deliciousness of her snack. Lifting the cup of coffee, she returned her gaze to the ruby eyed individual. Now that she had cleared out any misunderstandings that may have occurred in other situations, she felt much more at ease as her lips subconsciously lifted to form a diminutive smile.

Sipping her coffee, she noticed that the calm silence with occasional conversing words was no longer awkward, but comfortable instead. Perhaps it was because of the eerily tight knot that the strings of their fate had tied together or simply because somewhere inside her head, she knew that she managed to show a side to this one woman that she had never been able to show to anyone, not even herself.

Gulping down the remains of her drink, she felt the sightly hot liquid seep down her throat, leaving behind a warm feelings that contrasted with the slightly chill weather.  She licked the white foam off her lips before looking Alisa in the eyes, "I was just thinking of taking a walk around the park." Indeed she was, the only reason she came to the cafe was to satisfy her stomach which was almost always nearly empty. It was a coincidence for her to actually meet the female there, "If you don't mind, would you like to join me?"

A small cough escaped her lips. Truly, she felt a sense of comfort but this entire process of being talkative and initiating conversation was just too foreign for her. Xandra never expressed how she felt, simply because she never really felt much of a reason to, but now, she did. Diverting her gaze before allowing it to flicker back to her partner, she continued in her low and slightly monotonous voice, "I would like to get to know you better." And of course, it goes without mention that she would also like to recall what happened to bring her to this point of relaxation.

WORDS: 700 | TAG: @xandra | CLOTHES

Alisa truly found undescribable joy at seeing her words have the desired effect, her smile widening as she sensed the blonde more at ease with herself, and the sculptress' presence as well. Every now and then she showed hints of who she was deep down - without needing any help from alcoholic beverages - and as they talked she gradually opened up more and more, little by little. A reserved but earnest girl, giddy and playful when pleased, but mean and ruthless when annoyed. An image the inspired sculptress could never forget even after that massive hangover, one that drew her relentlessly towards the girl in question until they finally came face to face once more. As they mended the rift brought on by their forgotten memories, those inexplicable feelings left behind seemed all the more natural... If only Alisa knew how much the girl had struggled to achieve this bond with someone else, to be the one she could open up to...

Xandra's appetite, however, was exactly as the artist remembered. Indeed, she fully recalled having bought the girl food, and on some level wondered if that hadn't been the main reason why they ended up growing so close. Even now she devoured her cake while Alisa only had time to eat a tad bit over half her croissant. She did have a rather helpful and visibly hungry partner who she clealy enjoyed feeding, and together with Lumen, finished her own meal not too long after the blonde did... Which effectively suggested the girl ate enough for two...

In contrast, the crystal user ate slowly, relishing the carefully concoted flavor of both bread and coffee in turn, not the slightest bit bothered by the long silent moments they often shared. Between two introverts, they managed to communicate a surprising deal of information about each other's mood simply by holding the other's gaze. As a stronger breeze brushed against her skin and the loose white garment over it, Alisa pulled up on the wide neckline as it threatened to slip too far down one shoulder, finishing her coffee just as her new friend shared her thoughts:

"That was my plan as well.", confirmed Alisa, nodding with faint, but almost eager mirth. She obviously enjoyed Xandra's company and didn't really care much for hiding it. After all this lovely young Knight had done a tremendous effort just to acknowledge her innermost wishes, a sight which touched her deeply enough that Alisa couldn't help but respond in kind, "Mmm~ I'd be delighted to."

This time, nobody in their right mind could ever call it a coincidence. Why else would someone have come to the park if not to have a pleasant, refreshing walk? A pure stroke of luck had brought them face to face with each other, like fate itself wished for them to nurture the connection they'd created, a bond so strong even their absent memories couldn't sever.

"You already know me better than most, you need only recall it.", she answered with a nonchalant tone that still hinted at her interest, looking away in a brief moment of humility, silently hoping the girl wouldn't recall anything bad, then shining her intrigued gaze right back onto the girl's violet eyes, "The feeling's mutual though.", with these words, she dropped a few jewels on the table, covering both her and Xandra's meals.

Almost like she remembered they'd agreed on it when the blonde paid for both their drinks. She opened her handbag, allowing Lumen to climb back onto it, and offered Xandra a hand before she had a chance to think about it, as if to help her stand back up. Once more, not that she really needed to, but as flashbacks from that night occasionally popped into her head, she had little time to distinguish those moments of deja vu from the events presently unfolding before her eyes:

"Shall we go...? Sky's finally clearing up, we should take this chance while we have it.", with that cool and welcoming tone, she'd hook her palm, gesturing her former (and hopefully future) drinking buddy to walk along with her - outside the food scented café and into the green smelling park - just as lone ray of sunshine beamed off her ever radiant golden blonde hair in a glorious sight.

As contrary to popular belief as it was, silence had pierced its way into the hearts of those who could be easily labelled as introverts and settled there with comfort, allowing them to bond with others with this very silence. The blonde was no stranger to that. Never had she ever felt comfortable talking, but with others who did feel the need to converse with words, silence didn't seem like the right option either. Yet, here she was, settled within the proud barrier of quietude that subtly passed her emotions and thoughts to the woman who sat across her.

Xandra leaned back into her chair as she waited for her friend and her little companion to finish their treat. It didn't take much time but these few moments made her realize that she hadn't possibly eaten enough to satisfy her hunger but eerily enough, she didn't feel the need to. She could maybe perhaps grab something to satisfy her stomach later. The barely evident smile remained constant on her lips as her eyes softened upon the words of the ruby eyed female.

She stood up and the Knight too, prepared herself to stand up but was rather distracted by the clanking of the jewels against the furnished table. It felt as if there were something at the back of her mind, a fragrant of her memory perhaps, but it refused to come forth. Her thoughts and desire to remember were disrupted by the sight of the hand which was offered to help her. The blonde didn't really require help in standing up, but subconsciously, she grabbed Alisa's hand gently before pulling herself up without any external help needed.

Their hands remained connected as hauled herself up, into a standing position. Her lilac gaze drifted back towards the table where the jewels lay, noticing that there were enough to pay for the both. Her head turned to face the woman who was slightly taller than herself as her mouth opened as if to protest. It was then that a flash of memory strolled past her mind. Although it was blurry, she could recall her own voice which managed to shut her lips after emitting a small 'oh' as she managed to remember the unofficial promise they made.

Deciding to drop the subject, she simply nodded in agreement to the young woman's statement as they proceeded walking. The blonde didn't let go of the hand, for a reason she knew not. If Alisa were to let go of her hand, she would return it to her side as they strolled over the cement path that pierced through the green vegetation. The scent of coffee mixed with mocha drifted into oblivion as the fresh scented air of the trees evaded her senses. The sky was a beautiful shade that remained stuck between hues of blue and grey with a blend of yellow that the sun radiated. She occasionally let her gaze wander to the sky as her irises appreciated the beauty. She was indeed someone who preferred this weather over the usual overly sunny one.

registered how she'd offered the girl a hand until after she accepted it, a feeling from that night flashing into her head. Rougher than most girls but still pleasantly soft, her skin hinted at her practical nature and a lifetime spent fighting for what she believed in. Alisa remembered this sensation all too well, even if she couldn't really recall it... Not at first anyhow... But at that rate, some of the haze surrounding her memories cleared up, and the sculptress knew they'd shared such a moment before. The blonde soon remembered their agreement about who paid whose part: That enlightened look on her face said it all, and earned a small chuckle from the taller girl.

Maybe she'd recall Alisa's touch soon too...?

With neither of them letting go, the artist held on to her new friend's hand like something very precious to her, the source of an inner warmth she could acknowledge, but couldn't quite grasp, let alone understand. It didn't really stop her from relishing it though, taking a deep breath of the fresh air as the wooden planks of the Café´s terrace gave way to the cement lining the park's pathways. Every deep breath filled her lungs with fresh, herbal scented air, all contributing to a perpetual, visibly content smile on her lips, widening every time she looked at the radiant beauty beside her.

The two introverts may indeed each appear lost in their own absent thoughts, absorbed in their own world. Yet it only appeared such to the untrained, dismissive eye. Hand in hand, those two visibly aloof women of blonde and black hair shared a constant connection, and a mutual desire to see it deepened.

With nothing but a simple gaze into the other's eyes, they could communicate a myriad of thoughts and emotions, far more than some more outgoing people ever could with words. Every now and then Alisa would shift her thumb, stroking the back of Xandra's palm in an attempt to draw her attention: Usually to something adorable, like as a mother duck swimming in the lake with a trail of ducklings behind her; at other times to something amorous, like a lovestruck couple looking at the sights while lying in each other's arms; and sometimes to something hilarious, such as a young male jogger running past them, gawking so intently he event tilted his head back and inevitably tripped on a pebble.

Alisa smiled, blushed, and giggled in turn as all of these emotions scratched the surface of her lost memories in some mysterious manner - not necessarily related to any of the sights they could lay their eyes upon - as if something might spring forth at any moment...

It didn't...

The sunlight piercing through the column of gray drew Alisa's ruby gaze upwards, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. A stunning sight only rivalled by that of the girl walking beside her, a sight that brought another memory back from the void. Side by side, shifting the occasional gravel under their feet with every step, sometimes sharing long looks along a far longer stroll. They'd done this before... They didn't look giddy and intoxicated like that time, their joined hands swaying ever so gently instead of swinging back and forth, their movements relaxed, but controlled instead of sluggish, their bodies near, but close instead of outright glued.

Under a different, but just as beautiful light overhead, they strolled along the streets of Hargeon not unlike they did now, as Alisa escorted her drinking buddy to her home:

"Did you remember anything...?", Alisa inquired curiously, her brow furrowing ever so slightly into a quizzical look as she sought those lilac jewels, finally breaking the silence between them. Despite inviting Xandra to do the same, they both knew she wouldn't really need to...

Her eyes made it clear she had remembered something even if her question hadn't, but she'd allow her friend to recall at her own pace, leaving her memories untampered by any suggestion from the artist's melodic voice...

The gaze that looked around, observing her surroundings, as well as occasionally glancing at the partner whom she intertwined hands  with, in hopes of memories pouring back into the emptiness left behind by the array of intoxicated beverages that she had consumed the night of their first encounter. At this point, it was no surprise that the blonde wished to recall everything that she apparently knew about the woman, as claimed by her. The 'oomph' that left the falling man diverted her attention for mere moments as she glanced at him, noticing his eyes flicker between her and her new friend before he shied away with a hint of blush staining his cheeks before hauling himself up and proceeding to run further away, in embarrassment, she presumed.

They strolled through over the pavement as the blonde looked to the side, when pointed out by the ruby eyes female to watch the beauty of nature. The sun peeked through the clouds mischievously, shining light and warmth upon them before hiding behind the swaying clouds once again. The breeze passed through, dancing in sync with the voices of nature as the leaves of trees shook with excitement. It was truly a wonderful sight, but what made it all the more enjoyable was the fact that the two woman silently appreciated each other's company as they admired the magnificence of the barely populated park.

Xandra's irises turned back to meet Alisa's as she pondered over the question of her remembrance. Her gaze held the crimson hues that were laced with curiosity for a moment before she broke contact, letting her eyes wander to the pavement and then drift over to the grassy bushes that slowing moved past her sight as they continued strolling. Yet again, for an unknown reason, she felt her body heat up as her heart hammered. Luckily, her pale cheeks remained the same, showing no hint of the warmth that spread through her body. She had no idea why she was feeling that way as the feeling itself, was completely outlandish to her.

After a few moments, she turned her gaze to once again meet her companions before speaking, "Only bits and pieces." And it was true. She only recalled fractions of the fragments of that night. She noticed that her memory was usually triggered by a similar action that the two performed currently. As they continued strolling, the familiar feeling of walking hand in hand with the sculptress seep through her as she remembered the chilly night sky that loomed over them that night as they strolled down the street, just like they were doing now, "Like, us walking down the street like this." She paused as her train of thoughts left the station of stillness. The knight was on the right path to recall all that she had forgotten and she wanted to know more.

"What about you? Do you remember anything?"

She took to watching Xandra's long, flowing golden hair fluttering under that gentle draft, watching the pondering look on her face with careful attention, as if every hint of rememberance may untimately result in another recovered memory on her part as well. She truly looked deep in thought, so much Alisa had no doubt she'd very soon find something amidst those lost memories, no matter how little. After looking around as if any of the natural sights before her could help retrieve the missing information, the blonde spoke up. Bits and pieces, she said, the two of them walking just like they did now. So she did remember it, which in turn left the Pegasus more comfortable with painting her own mental image:

"The same... We walked not unlike how we're doing now, slow and silently. You leaned on me for support almost the whole way...", her smile widened as she recalled that last part. She glanced skywards for a split second an idle hand reaching up to her chest and fiddling with the rim of her sweater; before looking right back at the charming night and leaving no doubt how this was a thoroughly pleasant memory for her, nothing Xandra should be ashamed of, "But then..."

Here it was again... Every time she thought too hard on this, her heart started racing, threatening to beat out of her chest. Her lower lip squirmed softly as she curled it and frowned further, glancing off into the distance and rubbing her chin. Alisa was obviously trying really hard to remember, to pierce through that veil of omission, and the importance of that missing piece steadily dawned on her, not unlike the widening rays of sunshine whenever the clouds cleared the way. Absorbed in the effort as she was, she scarcely noted the warmth flushing her cheeks red ever so slightly, unnoticeable to herself, although the blonde might easily spot it. All she got was a jumbled mess of emotions, tenderness, worry, affection, relief, and finally joy, lacking any a clue as to how she might have been on the right path:

"...There's something else though. I know there is, but I can't seem to...", she'd share her thoughts, looking back to the blonde with an almost apologetic, frustrated hint, holding her hand a bit tighter. She wished she had a better answer to give, and hoped something in those shimmering, expectant eyes of lilac could give her the hint she sought.

Thankfully, that missing memory didn't really feel like anything bad - she could tell that much - but she knew the girl yearned for the answer as much as she did... But unless Xandra had any sudden, revealing flash of rememberance, Alisa would eventually sigh in surrender, giving up for the time being and simply hope to recall this later as she spend time with her, her smile returning with confidence, knowing she'd soon remember everything about the dazzling Knight, everything Xandra had shown her that night anyway...

After all, she already knew of the girl's nigh insatiable hunger, so much that when the faint jingle of a bell alerted her to a passing Ice cream cart, she naturally nodded towards it with an inviting look in her eyes. She even tugged on their joined hands gently, certain her adorably gluttonous friend wouldn't resist its appeal and might even take the lead herself. The cool freshness held a different sort of allure to Alisa, to whom the breaking sunbeams brought the occasional bead of sweat to her forehead, hinting to an affinity for cold weather despite a love of the same heat she dealt so poorly with. If Xandra agreed, they'd walk over and come face to face with an old, kind looking ice cream salesman, "Good afternoon young ladies! What can I get you?", to whom Alisa promptly ordered a strawberry and banana flavored cone.

Whether they ate along the way or simply sat down on a nearby bench however, were decision she'd leave to the lovely blonde...

The blonde noticed, which happened to be something she had always been good at. Observing people became her forte over the years that she spent communicating with as minimum words as possible. Her lilac eyes traveled over Alisa's face, noticing the small frown that adorned her forehead as her eyes narrowed in a desperate attempt to remember the forgotten. She even noticed the slight puckering of her friend's lips but what truly got her to fall further into curiosity was the deep blush that painted all over the skin of the ruby-eyed beauty.

That very sight, which she could not remove her gaze from got her to think about what truly happened that made the seemingly confident woman, who showcased an aura of assertiveness in the way she dressed, the way she talked and the way she walked. In fact, what had happened to make even the monotonous blonde fall victim to the clutches of the tainted red that surfaced a little too often for her preference. Her eyes remained unhindered as they met with her partner's own crimson ones. A small sigh escaped her lips as she squeezed back the hand that remained intertwined with her own pale one, as if telling Alisa that it was okay to not remember and indeed, it was. It wasn't neither of their faults that they couldn't remember.

Biting the bottom of her lip, she could feel that the beauty beside her was feeling a rather significant amount of pressure as she attempted to recall what her brain refused to let her. Xandra wanted to ease that feeling, but she didn't know how. "It's alright, it doesn't really matter much. We could always make new memories." But contrary to her words, it did matter to her. However, not enough to let her allow her companion to overthink or force herself into remembering. Her gaze shifted, glancing around as if looking for a distraction to get them away from the topic that they were discussing.

It seemed as though Alisa managed to find something delightful much before she did as she felt a light tug on her arm. Following the woman's gaze, her eyes glimmered upon the sight of the chill goodness of the snack that suddenly awakened a craving within her. The two women strolled over to the decent sized stand where they were greeted with a man who beamed a smile at them. Once the sculptress had asked for what she wanted, the blonde proceeded to ask for something that was the complete opposite of what her partner ordered; a triple chocolate ice cream.

Grabbing the packaged delicacies, she dug her hand into the pocket of her pants, pulling out a few jewels that she offered to the salesman who smiled once again as they proceeded to walk away, with their hands still entwined together. Assuming that it would perhaps be more comfortable for them to sit on a bench, she tugged at her partner's hand, guiding her through the path the pierced through the vegetation and seating herself down onto the wooden bench. She had to let go of the female's hand as she sat, using it to pat the empty space next to her. Yet another flash of memory passed through her where instead of the hard rough bench underneath her palm, it was the smooth surface of leather. It played like a film in her head, speedily passing through and disappearing within a fraction of a second as the knight shook it off.

As the memory didn't seem to be anything overly significant, she proceeded to use both hands to open up the brown wrapping before revealing a smooth chocolaty surface on a stick that hid the creamy part underneath. Without a moments hesitation, she bit off the hard chocolate coat, revealing the untouched light brown cream within as the brown coating melted in her mouth. Another small, but evident smile formed on her lips as she awaited a word from the female, wondering if she had anything to ask before the blonde could satisfy her curiosity.

Her smile turned warm, mellow even, the moment she felt Xandra's soothing squeeze around her hand, a comforting gaze telling her she didn't have to recall all the details right now. She knew the girl was interested - she could tell by that look on her face - no doubt as much as she herself felt, if more so... But that only made her appreciate these feelings all the more, as she could put aside her own yearning to help Alisa feel better. Well, she'd at least learned it was nothing worth regretting, and found that sufficiently rewarding in and of itself.

"Indeed.", she nodded, smile widening as both redness and frustration eased up with every word out of the blonde's lips, "Then surely everything we forgot will come back to us as we do."

Just like the ones they were making now...

Alisa had guessed correctly; judging by that pure, joyous glimmer in those lilac irises: It appeared her friend couldn't resist the appeal of a sweet treat, and immediately asked the biggest, richest chocolate ice cream avaliable, in clear contrast to the sculptress' comparatively modest, fruity one. A visible enough difference to make Alisa laugh ever so gracefully, even as her lovely companion led her to the nearest bench, to enjoy their snack in peaceful stillness.

From this spot, they could lay back and have their ice cream while watching the green sights, and the people walking back and forth in front of them. That was, if they weren't still focused on each other... Alisa found it pretty hard to peel here eyes away from Xandra, watching with a smile as the girl sat down, letting go of her hand to pat her spot next to her. And at that moment, the sculptress all but froze. Not longer than a split second before finally sitting, but more than enough for one of those buried memories to flash before her eyes. A much giddier Xandra grinning at her at she invited her to sit, after sharing a thoroughly enjoyable dance together.

Instead of the hard wooden bench, however, they had a luxurious sofa so sit on. If they yet posessed any lingering doubt on their ability to remember every last piece of that night, moments such as these easily dispelled them, leaving only a calm acceptance of the rememberance they could not force:

"...So, tell me more about yourself~", asked Alisa, as vaguely as she could, crossing her shapely legs and turning to face her. She wondered how much she had already learned about her, and how many lost memories could be brought forth simply by learning it all over again. That might just be the only plus side of having forgotten details, for the mere though of learning about this girl all over again filled her with an almost eager delight. Resting one arm behind the bench for support, she fully turning her torso to face the girl as she unwrapped the icy treat, looking into her eyes with expectantly, "I remember you're a Rune Knight, but not what made you join them."

Truly, she knew Xandra wasn't usually comfortable with talking, even to her... Alisa's keen understanding of this presented one of the reasons why they got along so well - and why they felt drawn to each other in the first place - thus she naturally gave her something more contrete to answer to. If the reserved girl felt comfortable discussing it, of course, the Pegasus wouldn't really press the suject otherwise. But regardless of whether or not she did, Alisa naturally intended to fulfil the girl's own curiosity as well, sharing their pasts and hopes for the future, the drives and motivations, as far as they could.

Meanwhile, she entertained her sense of taste with a little bite off her fruity ice cream, letting it melt slowly as it rolled it around her tongue...

She turned her head, yet again capturing the gaze of the rubies. The chocolate flavored cream melted into her mouth as it fell into the warm embrace of her tongue. Her ears perked up at the melodious voice of the female who did indeed start up a topic of conversation. However, it wasn't a topic she was fond of. The blonde visibly stiffened as she was suddenly reminded of the reason why she began this journey, but at some point, she let it slip through her mind.

Her shoulders relaxed and she breathed, before taking in another bite of the creamy delight. Her goal was always, and still is, to reach a level where she could make an influence on the entire system of the magic police force. Alas, it was safe to say that she was still far from it. She was taken back to the days of her childhood, that she spent away from most people as she lived with a man who was like a father to her. A man, who was a thief. Somehow, that very fact, and of course the knowledge of the acts committed by her own parents became the sole reason she never judged people based on alliance.

Her gaze drifted away, towards the green vegetation before returning once again to look at the woman who sat beside her. Truly, she felt uncomfortable talking about herself on a usual basis, but today was far from what she would consider normal. However, miracles only happen once, not twice. The mere fact that fate brought her to gently collide into Alisa under the pretense of pure coincidence was enough of a miracle. The chances of her actually opening up about what she she wished for was slim.

Yet, there she was. Her lips moved on her own as her brain diverted from the path she always followed, portraying an honesty she never bothered displaying, "I have my reasons. I'll tell you someday, when I've become strong enough to achieve my goal." And indeed she wanted to. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she wanted a pat on the back for working hard but not yet, she wasn't even close. It wasn't just anyone she found herself seeking the approval of, it was just the female whom she had subconsciously and even now, come to admire.

The sudden drive of motivation raced across her body. "You are a member of-" She racked her head, thinking and thinking as if it was on the tip of her tongue but the words wouldn't come out. She recalled it being familiar, but she didn't know what it was. Then it struck her, as if the words echoed in her head as an aquamarine insignia clouded her vision momentarily, "-Blue Pegasus?" It came out more like a question than a statement but it mattered not. Her interest was at its peak.

She wanted to know more about the woman but it was rather unfair, considering how she herself refused to reveal her own secrets. Still, she would respect the wishes of the woman despite whether or not she was told. If Alisa only answered her question, without telling the Knight the reason she joined the famous guild, she would proceed to ask, with as minimalistic words as possible, with just a word laced with curiosity, "Why?" Time didn't seem to be waiting for them as it flew past fast, or perhaps the blonde was simply too engrossed in her present situation with her delightful company, that she didn't realize that the time for them to part again was closer.

WORDS: 1000 | TAG: @xandra | CLOTHES

She looked almost enraptured by the blonde's words, commiting every word to memory the moment she said it. No way she'd ever forget any moment shared with this girl, never again... Losing their first night was bad enough, it had been one hell of a scare but fortunately they were getting everything back, little by little. Indeed, the reserved girl didn't need to speak much at all. Alisa could tell from her reaction she really didn't count this as a pleasant conversation topic... So much she didn't even expect her to answer, but in the end, she did:

"Power, huh...", she spoke to herself, leaning back on the bench and gazing skywards. She didn't really look disappointed, Xandra's answer had clearly been enough for her. Despite the obvious curiosity, she neither felt the need nor showed any intention to ask for more; not when she related to the blonde far more than she'd ever thought possible at first. Could that have been another reason why they felt so drawn to each other? Maybe... She couldn't help recall what brought her on this path as she stared up into the sky, watching as the thick dark clouds covered the sun once more, "Our goals and motivations may differ, but I seek the same as you."

With this she looked back down, shining that casual, undestanding smile on the reserved Knight, appreciating her saying this much. So much she didn't really mind answering a similar question once Xandra shot it back to her, biting off another chunk of her fruity sorbet. She watched the girl's struggle with interest, and looked visibly pleased once she recalled Alisa's affiliation:

"Indeed I am.", Alisa confirmed as abstractly as ever, a smile on her face, the smile of someone who wanted the girl to ask her more about herself. She asked something not too different from Alisa's, bringing her back to those days when she had nothing on her mind but vengeance. She had plenty of reasons to join Blue Pegasus, but none so strong she could name it without question. It was they who first saw her crystal magic as art, and made her call herself an artist, "Who knows...?", she shrugged, her gaze drifting off into the distance before returning to the shimmering lilac, "On some level, I feel I just wanted a place to come home to. But If you ask me why I chose Blue Pegasus specifically... I guess they made me feel beautiful."

She leave it to Xandra to interpret her words however she wished... She asked herself that very same question more often than not; why would a lone wanderer who detested crowding with others join a Magic Guild? And she seldom found the same answer everytime she looked for it... Art, beauty, style... She found all of those appealing, and they nurtured that side of her into the stunning woman she was now. Yet her passion to better herself, to grow stronger... That was all hers, and without it, she'd have never caught their attention.

Naturally, Alisa too wondered how much longer the two of them might have together; not surprisingly considering both of them were reserved women who naturally enjoyed their time alone. Yet the thought of parting ways before recalling that night weighed heavily on her, as she looked between the girl and the scenery before them, eyes filled with longing...

The couple from before walked past them, hand in hand, and Alisa couldn't help but notice how similar the two of them must have looking as they walked across the concrete path. She couldn't even blame onlookers for mistaking the two women for yet another couple, even though they had only just met and now found themselves struggling to recall what they did or didn't know about each other. The way they gazed at each other with mutual admiration, drawn to each other's beauty as they were still look different from the longing gazes of a lovestruck couple; not to mention they weren't even kissing...!

Yet once this thought crossed Alisa's mind, another one sooned followed, a nudging feeling from the recesses of that forgotten night... She didn't yet truly remember... But for the first time, she had a strong, unyielding suspicion about that missing piece that sped her heartrate whenever she thought on it. Gulping, the tall woman uncrossed her legs, considering a gamble the likes of which she never wagered:

"Hey, Xandra... Close your eyes.", she asked, a no-nonsense look in her wine red eyes... A look serious enough for the blonde to understand the meaning; Alisa had an idea. Only question now was, how far did the girl trust her?

...Unlike before, she avoided thinking too hard on it, almost as if she knew doing so would make it harder for her. On the other hand, not dwelling kept her cheeks from reddening as much... Though she didn't consciously remember that kiss, her instincts did, enough that mere sight of that couple convinced her this was good plan. But then, Alisa wasn't a forward woman: Even drunk as she was, she must have needed a herculean effort to take this plunge... And now here she was about to take it again, with nothing to help lower her inhibitions like she had last time. Telling herself she was just jogging their memories didn't really help either, almost like she knew better...

If the Knight agreed to her request, she'd take a deep breath and lean slowly into her, feeling that familiar pounding in her chest once more - stronger and stronger the closer she got - letting her eyelids drift closed...

And very slowly, she'd press her soft, luscious lips to her partner's, a tender kiss packed full of admiring affection, expressing that marvellous attraction like a bashful schoolgirl might, as opposed to a cool and confident woman like Alisa. Exactly like the first time. Her heart skipped a beat the moment they touched, and all those missing memories leading up to that kiss flooded into her mind relentlessly, as if a dam broken. This time, however, she lingered there, giving her a chance to return or turn away from it.

"This... Is what I did.", she'd finally state, slowly opening her eyes to look into Xandra's expectantly, her cheeks red like never before.

She didn't really know what this - what her feelings - actually meant, and doubted she'd learn in one day. She understood the risks, how she could end up ruining what they'd built so far. Hopefully, they'd have time to think about those two kisses in the days to come... But despite how anxious it made her, she still couldn't help herself...

EXIT

Relief washed over the body of the Knight as her expression softened, letting her gaze, that had subconsciously drifted away to the grey concrete path which suddenly seemed so interesting, return to meet the rubies upon the sound of her words. A small smile found it's way onto her lips as she leaned back to let her back touch the wooden texture of the bench as her long legs bend at the edge and lazily stretched out. Her hand hauled up as she bit into the melting ice cream, before taking a few moments to completely lick the creamy bit off the stick. Her body relaxed as she felt the release of the tension, that had taken over her without her knowledge as the woman's words served as reliever to her hidden nervousness.

The blonde nodded, slightly as her tongue grazed the thin stick, letting the cool liquid that snack had turned into attempt to attack her taste buds. Never had she shared what her goal truly was, and never had she thought that there would come a day that she would. However, at this point, the rush of incentive that drove her was stronger than before. Now, she had a reason to work harder towards her goal because there was someone, waiting to listen to what she had accomplished. The lilac irises flickered to the side, noticing the couple that passed by them but paid no heed to it as her attention diverted towards the sky, occasionally shifting towards the raven-haired woman before returning to meet the clouded sky that attempted to rule over the sun's reign.

Evading her ears was the call of her own name that escaped the woman's lips as the Knight couldn't help but feel uneasy by the tone of her voice. Those few, simple words carried with them a weight that she couldn't describe. For some unknown reason, her heart beat hastened as if giving her a sign that she couldn't quite catch. She hesitated for a moment as she was never someone who blindly trusted someone; she wasn't someone who let down her guard. On the contrary, however, she had already done that on front of this woman before and nothing had happened that would give birth to the constant troubling thoughts that ran across her mind. It was time for her to, or at least, attempt to climb over the sky high walls that she had build.

Her mind told her not to do so, as it badgered her inquire the reason as to why she should close her eyes but the instinctive behavior she always nurtured kicked in, allowing her blink a few times before her lids blocked out the light and all she could see was darkness. Xandra could hear her heart, now that her vision was gone as the touch of the wind felt stronger. But what truly got her to frown was the sudden heat she felt on her face. Alas, she couldn't do it, she was too curious and too cautious for wanting to see it herself but she was too late. The soft touch of Alisa's lips bombarded her as they collided against her own, slightly glossed ones. Her eyes flew open but she couldn't move so she sat, with irises wide in surprise.

Her legs and shoulders tensed as her mind completely went blank. What was going on? Those few moments felt longer than they should have as indecisiveness invaded her thoughts. She didn't know what to do. When their lips parted, all she could do was stare blankly at the female as her hand instinctively rose to let her slender fingers feel the warmth left behind on her plump lips. Moments of silence passed by as the air around them held an indescribable heaviness. It wasn't long before the heat rushed to her body, spreading to every part of it as the thoughts and memories began rushing in.

Holding hands, dancing, drinking, taking care of unneeded guests, the body contact and alas, the kiss; it all blazed through her mind as all she found herself doing was speaking one word alone, "Oh". A hurricane of emotions ran through her at that moment, something she had never experienced before. The blonde didn't know what to do. Everything that was happening, that she was feeling was so foreign to her that she could only sit there in silence as she attempted to make sense of the situation. She whispered, "I remember now." but there was nothing else she could do.

Her gaze shied away from the woman, which was very unlike her usual demeanor as she bit the corner of her lower lip. She needed time to think about everything that had occurred now and before. She needed to sort out these feelings that she never thought she would experience. The only for her to do so, was to be alone with just her thoughts. "Uh, I should really get going." She stated, her voice much quieter this time. It wasn't because she despised Alisa for doing what she did,  but simply because she had a lot on her mind at that moment. She hauled herself off the bench, "I'll see you around, I guess." With that, she strolled off, regretting the fact that she couldn't express what she truly thought. Hopefully, if and when they meet again, she could let the sculptress know that she wasn't hated or despised but that the blonde, was simply too flustered.

Alisa

WORDS: 750 | TAG: @xandra | CLOTHES

They truly were similar in oh-so-many ways, far more than they'd first seen in that inebriated night. The more they sensed that keen understanding on the other's part, the more at ease they became, even with topics they'd normally not discuss with other people. None of them shared their goals at their most intimate - neither would ask such a thing of the other - but then, Alisa saw this as a pretty close second, and couldn't help but ponder if Xandra wasn't thinking the same thing, looking relaxedly as they finished their ice cream.

The girl beat her to it, of course, she always did. No doubt, her appetite was one of her charm points.

But this left their lips free for something else, something much softer... So plush, so tender... Only after their gloss tinted lips connected did Alisa truly fathom how much she'd genuinely wanted to do this, simultaneously reconnecting the better part of her lost memories with her unexplained feelings. Only the second time it had happened already, but for the first time since that night, Alisa understood. Perhaps not everything, not completely - not yet - but having regained her lucidity she realized her motivations better than she ever could have before.

Mo matter what, she didn't want the girl thinking that kiss only happened because of the alcohol.

True, it helped, the sculptress might have struggled doing it otherwise, perhaps she wouldn't even have taken such a leap of faith at all. Not that she didn't want to, but she simply wouldn't have realized how she wished for it. In battle, she made a move only after ensuring victory, a cautious, but restraining mold she'd been slowly breaking her way out of. This mindset spread to all things romantic too, taking the form of a classy, restrained subtlety that always held her back. But not this time.

...On the other hand, It didn't change the fact they'd known each other for a couple of days, even if it felt longer...

Almost as long as that that singular moment; all but stretching out to a stomach tingling, heart racing infinity, a flush heat taking over her body the whole way, even as she pulled back. They gazed at each other in weight, almost overbearing silence, Alisa curling her lips, running her tongue over the bottom slightly... Sweet, like chocolate, not surpring but still oddly fitting. This time, neither of them would forget this sensation.

Even the normally relaxed woman couldn't help but stiffen at the huge leap out of her comfort zone, twiddling the edges of her sweater wherever she found them with uncharacteristic awkwardness: "I'm relieved...", she all but sighed, a bit of the tension easing away as Xandra admitted what Alisa could already tell from her face, "If you hadn't, then...", her words trailed off as she tugged on the comfy fabric, pulling the white fabric up, covering her cleavage a bit more, internally shuddering at the thought of Knight not remembering anything despite the kiss, and ultimately feeling Alisa had just locked lips with her out of nowhere...

...Despite doing exactly that the other night...

If she felt confused by her own actions, she could only imagine how one might precieve them from the recieving end. They needed time, and they both knew it, like the aloof warriors they were:

"Yeah, me too...", Alisa nodded, brooding but understanding, still managing a soft smile, as if making that the blonde's last image of her, until they met again. Maybe she'd even make progress on her seemingly grueling quest, "Take care, alright? And good luck...!"

Yes, it stung seeing her leave so suddenly... Though not nearly as much as she expected it might. She didn't believe Xandra hated her, or what she'd just done, which was good... She'd seen what she did to people she didn't like - one of the things she actually admired about the blonde - and if Alisa were one of them, then she wouldn't have gotten away that easily.

She'd eventually learn whether what she did was truly for the best... But deep down, she couldn't help but believe so, yet fearing the exact opposite. Ultimately, they'd be unable to help each other sort through these new emotions, but hopefully the next time they met, their bond would yet hold strong, perhaps stronger than ever. Only time would tell...
