CompanionThese who don't work, don't get food. It was a saying she had once heard a long time ago. Where exactly she didn't remember, but the fact remained that if she hoped to get enough money to buy lunch she needed to work for it! Fortunately the local inn was clearly understaffed, to the point they were hiring foreigners to help with the problem. It sounded like a simple enough job. First she went to help change the bed sheets of one of the rooms, then helped clean some dishes when suddenly the innkeeper called out to her and explained she needed to leave the reception lobby for a bit to resolve a problem. Of course when asked if she could take her place for a bit Yu didn't mind, especially since Nyancelot had been napping on said lobby for the entire morning!
However, it was during the time she was watching the reception that a grumpy local came, complaining about how the inn was fully booked and that she should shoo away some of the people already staying to let him stay instead! While initially she denied his orders, the moment he attempted to protest and make a Tantrum his expression turned pale, as if he saw a demon! But when she turned around only Nyancelot was lazing around behind her, purring softly. To make matters even more curious, the man soon left in a hurry, at the same time the innkeeper returned, offering the pair some nice meals as a bonus for their quick work!
