Drakkon was almost done with Talaz Lagaar, he could feel it in his bones, and he was hoping that after this was over, everybody would be fine. They needed to get back to normal and this sickness needed to be eradicated. It was either that, or just take out and wipe out Talaz Lagaar from existence. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen, and honestly, he didn’t care. In the end, he was getting paid and he would do what was good for himself.

The man at the campsite though, would offer another job for him to take. He wanted Drakkon to clear another path within the island. This place had a blockade for some time. It was also something that brought their workers to get to the site faster. It was sad and honestly, they didn’t have the time to clear it out. That was what people like Drakkon were for.

Drakkon would continue making his way through the island and he was heading to the destination given to him. He was wondering if he would fight someone there, but he wasn’t sure. It could be a million things that could go wrong there, but he would find out when he got there. It would seem like it was a safe area, but it was that one thing that was blocking the residents in this island from moving through it. The Demi-god would be the solution to their problem though.

The young man would continue his path with Luci on his shoulder. The demon was fading away though and soon enough he wouldn’t be in this physical plane.

“It seems soon enough I will be one with you Drakkon.” He said to him.

The man would look at him and he would shake his head about it.

“Yeah, which means you will be by my side saying weird stuff right?” He asked Luci to see what he would say.

Luci would hear this and he would puff out smoke from his mouth. He was right, they were always going to be together unless Drakkon found a way to snuff him out of existence.

“I guess you’re right about that, but that isn’t the end of the world. I’m pretty sure I’m the reason your powers of a Demi-God came to fruition anyway.” He said to Drakkon.

The Dragon Slayer would continue walking and he thought about those words. Before Luci appeared, he wasn’t this strong, so he wasn’t wrong. It would seem that would be the case, so he would have to be thankful for that. Still, he missed Toge, he learned that he would one day meet him again. It wouldn’t take long, but the two of them would make their way to the destination. Drakkon would see the mess that was in front of him and figured that it would take a while to clear out.

Drakkon would look around the place. He had arrived, and the last thing he needed was people hiding to attack him. He could catch scents around him, but those were from the people who lived around there. He would have to follow the scents closest to the blockade. When he did, he wouldn’t find anything. It was just someone’s home near it, which meant that he didn’t have anything to worry about. The young man would bring himself back to the place, and he would just look at it. He figured he would break it into pieces, but using his raven would cause more damage than anything.

That was when he figured he would just cut it down to even smaller pieces. The Dragon Slayer would unsheathe his katana and he would look at it. That was when he pushed forward and he would start his job. He would activate his dimensional slash from his katana in that one attack and it would cover the blockade instantly.

Drakkon would watch as the attack did it job, and he would see everything crumble into pieces. It was still a blockade, but it was easier to handle now. He didn’t have to worry about anything with heavy lifting and he would start moving things around. The Dragon Slayer was a devour of things, but he knew he couldn’t consume the rubble here. He would summon his dragon and he would have them smack against the rubble. When the impacted him, it was strong enough to turn the small bits of rubble become nothing but dust. It was an easy solution, one that he thought about right then and there. Still, now that he saw it worked he would also be done with his job a bit earlier than usual. He looked over to Luci and figured that they had time to kill.

Drakkon would start moving back to the campsite, but he would take the long road there. He didn’t want to feel like he didn’t do his best to get the job done.

Drakkon and Luci would eventually make their way to the campsite. Of course, they would be met with the guards there. They would let them in right away though, and there he would go hunting for his client. It would take a while, but he would see the man come out of the tent. He would approach him and he would explain that he got the job done. He would nod as he expected Drakkon to do just that. Still, now that he saw that everything was done, he didn’t have much to worry about for the time being.

He would thank Drakkon for his hard work, and he would hand him the jewels that he had offered him for taking on this job. Drakkon would look at him and he wondered if he would have to come back here again. He was hoping not, but things around this world worked in mysterious ways. He would count the jewels that were given to him and once he was done with the count, he would walk away as he said goodbyes to everyone in the campsite. They hoped that he did come to visit though.
