Kaito and this new exceed had gotten a new mission and Revy had not had the guts yet to tell him that she was the exceed that he was missing this whole time and she can tell that he was still a bit broken up from her disappearance but was trying not to show her so that she didn't feel bad and he looked away. He handed her the request as she rode in his hood like she always use to do as he was taking her right to where they needed to go and as this place looked different as there was nothing that could be done as she was not sure that she could help him here and she still readied herself as they walked into an area that more of the machia beasts where and Kaito sighed as he had not been expecting to have to deal with this. He sets the exceed down and he pats her head telling her to stay back here as he was not going to risk losing a second partner.

He then ran into the area as he can hear machine like howling as one had seen him was warning the others that a new prey had entered the field of battle and they had a new target to hunt and Kaito swung his arm as his gear appeared and he was ready to tear all of them down as he was not scared of them and he was not going to back down as he was in need to become the alpha here and show them that he was not going to allow them to scare him or even make him show fear. a cloaked woman ran past him and she showed off her speed and she didn't waste a movement and she helped to keep the focus off of Kaito even if her attacks didn't hit them as hard as his attacks did she was not going to allow them to hunt her partner alone and she was not going to be left be hind as Revy hadn't told Kaito she figured that he couldn't blame her or yell at her.

Kaito wondered who this woman was but he couldn't complain as she had showed up on time and had saved him for the numbers game and even if she couldn't break them she was still keeping them busy and she was not going to back down or so Kaito thinks so he will take the help as he starts fighting with the machia monsters and he was not going to stop till they had been broken and left in pieces as there was no point in trying to stop them and letting them live as they needed to get the people that were hiding here to come out and the only way Kaito can think that they would come out was if he cleared the area. Revy kept the extra monsters moving as Kaito breaks them one by one as he moved along fighting them and dropping pieces of them.

Revy flipped and moved around swiftly as she threw herself at them and hits them as hard as she could knocking some of the parts in them loose as it was not a super strong attack but she knew that she could do better. Kaito throws her his sword so that she can do real damage as Kaito hits them with his bare fists as he was strong enough to fight them bare handed and still had a shield that helped him knock the extras away from him to allow him space in case there was trouble or if one got the drop on him as his shield kept repelling the extra attacks that had been flying at him and he was not going to back down and he was not going to allow them to harm him or the exceed. Kaito used the shield and crushed the beasts like he was crushing cans to be recycled and renewed but he was not sure that he was getting it done well enough.

Revy used the sword like it was second nature to her as she had watched Kaito train with the sword endlessly when he was learning to use it over the beaten old Katana he use to use and so she knew how to use this sword well enough to make her strikes count and the sword gave her the extra bit of power she needed and the blade being smart swapped to hit with different elements that helped Revy cleanly sever a had of a beast clean off as Revy was nearly backed into a corner and Kaito came and helped her and the beasts were beaten and the people had started to come out to get aid form him and the cloaked woman. Kaito tried to sneak a peak to see who she was but she only returned his sword then took off and Revy came running in asking if the fighting was over so she can help to help them and not have to worry.

Kaito gave the exceed a nod and they set up the are and he opens portals and more people join them and help them to assess the injuries and the people that had suffered to see which ones needed more help than the others and get them to the critical area where Kaito was manning and he cleans out the wounds and give meds to help dull the pain that he was giving them as he starts getting the wounds sealed and the others they had bandaged up and ready to be set free if they chose to go that way and the others work hard to get the areas cleaned up and them back on their feet as they had no idea how good or bad that this area might be. Kaito got them as stable as he can and hand others help them to get to safety and not let them lay to long unless they can't be moved yet risking more damage or injury to them.

Kaito was not one to give up but he was not sure how that these people kept going after seeing how this island was mismanaged and was a floating death trap Kaito kind of wants to sink the island to the bottom of the ocean and just pretend that it had never been here as it would just be better for the world if this place just didn't exist here as this was not the way that was going to be worth any of this with how many people he has helped and healed but they never seem to stop and never seem to lower the amount of people these elitist fucks harmed and had killed probably as they opened boarders for help with a problem they themselves were causing this makes no sense as Kaito keeps working on them and getting wounds bandaged so that they can not suffer as badly but Kaito feels that they are not really getting this done that they are just refeeding these poor people back to a machine that just keeps chewing them up and just spitting them right back out into a new blooded mess but Kaito keeps working on them and getting them onto their feet and when he was done he cleaned up and he wondered what the next place he goes to might hold for them and he just hoped that they can end this horrible cycle that seemed to never end and it was getting innocent people murdered for no real reason besides that it can, they gather their pay and head off to a place to eat as Kaito wondered who that woman was.
