Kaito knows that he needs to pick up another mission and he goes for the board once again so that he can gain more jewels and be ready for the future and have funds to help himself and others survive what might be the end of the world as they know it as none of the raiders had fallen yet and the challenge that Yuurei had made to one of the raiders had gone long unanswered so it means the raider was scared to fight them clearly cause they know that they would have been destroyed by him, Yuurei and Brone. So he finds a mining mission that seemed simple enough and that he was to help other miners as well which was an odd request but that was the perk of this job he guessed as there was always a twist just laying out of sight that will need to be handled and that was just the way it was he guessed. Revy is in his hood like normal and she thinks that the tiger and boar would be good to help them for this request.

Kaito guessed that is a nice mix the robot boy and the lich woman are both strong and have their own ways to handle things and he guessed that it made sense to him to have them serve him on this mission, they don't serve him but help him but that thought crossed his mind as he walked up to the clients house who was a little old woman that welcomed in and told them the story of her husband who was a career miner that had hit rich and now that he has passed she uses the funds to help the other miners and she likes to have raw minerals in the home as they help her remember him and feel closer to him like he had never gone from her life even though he had passed peacefully she still thinks he comes to check on her and see what new pieces she had gotten while he was away from her so it has sort of become her lives work so to say.

Kaito agreed to take on this mission and takes the drinks and snacks the woman had made for them for the day to go to the mines and to give out and Revy smiles as they seemed to be getting off a little lighter today, Kaito opens a portal and summons the two for the day and they head for the mines and once they are there and they split up to make sure that everyone is getting attention and making sure they help those that need the help and give out drinks and snacks to those that need it currently as Kaito does some mining and he comes across a little old man inspecting a wall and he looks up at Kaito and he says that he wished he was still young so he could crack into this wall as it looked like it was chalk full of good finds. Kaito laughs softly and he says he will help the old timer.

Kaito does as he said and he cracks into the wall as the old man had wanted and as the old man had predicted there was indeed good things in that very wall and the old man lets up an old coughing laugh and asks if he can have some of the stuff Kaito had gotten out of the wall and he said yes of course as the man had told him the hot tip and he gets some for himself as well because of the job was to bring a little back and he offers the man some of the snacks and drink the woman had sent them here with and the old mans eyes light up upon tasting it. "Tastes just like the snacks and drink my wife use to send with me when i use to mining in my youth, sadly she died but I must say this is very good you have a talent." Kaito stops for a second and realized something the woman had never touched any of the things while he was there just more directed them to the places to grab the snack and drinks.

Kaito offers to walk the older man home once they had finished for the day and the man of course agreed to this as it would be nice to have company on his nightly walk home as he more comes to the mine to watch and remember the good times of his loving wife coming in with his food and drink that he had forgotten and the memories of her saying he has minerals for brains and that he was lucky she loved him. It had been the first day that he had forgotten in a long while to bring his lunch and a drink with him so he was glad this young man had come along when he had. Kaito thinks that his dead wife saw this and some how had done this but was it cause Kaito could see ghosts that he had been able to see the listing as he had seen people look it over before him.

Kaito keeps mining and helping the miners along with his team mates that were all happy to help as this was a job that was clearly abnormal but that was part of it's charm Kaito guessed. Kaito gets all the things they needed to do finished up and he goes and finds the old man chit chatting with another miner and he comes and collects him the old man excusing himself with a his ride home was here and Kaito walked with the old man he Kaito realized that the man was leading him to the same home that he had taken the task from and the old man walked up the same walk way right up to the door that was already unlocked and he walked in with Kaito who sets the bag of minerals where the woman had told him. The older man looked shocked and looked at Kaito and that is when it hit him, his dead wife had sent him, and a bag of jewels fell down and the old man looked at it with a smile and handed it to Kaito and Kaito looked inside of the bag and it was the payment he was promised and the old man told Kaito to come back anytime to talk and things while fighting tears and Kaito leaves with his payment as he leaves the house he can hear the man sobbing and goes back in to stay a bit longer with the man.
