Emil seeing a sizable recovery in his exceed figured that they should take up a mining quest to let the little guy shine as this was his strong point in finding and helping him get the better pay for these missions as the little guys was what Emil thinks is a self proclaimed expert of these kind of things but he doesn't really know the guy is actually a noted one. They reach the home of the client that looks at Emil and things that maybe this guy had got lost on the way here and this guy was sent to tell them that the real mage was going to be late but Emil announces himself with his name pridefully as he always did but he was totally oblivious to the way they are looking at him and Indi pipes up. " I know he doesn't look like he is the right man but trust me that he is indeed the right man and I will be making sure of his results for you."

The client looks down at the exceed and starts laughing at them and he figured this should be at least worth the show of idiotic appearances and he doesn't expect the job that he has requested to be done right but he figured that they will maybe if he is lucky bring him back the bare minimum and he starts getting complaint forms ready to send to Paradise Dawn if this man fails to do what was requested of him and maybe it will get him a discount on the next time that he requests a job from them, he doubts Paradise Dawn will do that but maybe he will at least get this guy kicked out of it if the complaints are piled high enough about him screwing up other jobs and causing issues. Emil and Indi are on their way to the mine for their day in it and Emil wants to try a few new tricks on the stuff in there to see if he can make what they do a bit faster as he is impulsive and he gets bored easy doing such tedious work.

Indi goes over the facts here and he tells Emil that they should keep the fighting against other miner to a minimum if they can help it and that was just a request of his to Emil. Emil sighs and nods cause he knows that he is already on thin ice and needs to keep his nose out of trouble or else the ground he currently is on might just get him tossed to the wolves. Emil enters into the mine with Indi as his side and the miners make room for him because of the last time they picked a fight and attacked the small exceed walking along side him they got more then just a few teeth knocked loose for them and they left the poor exceed in a critical state and Emil was not going to let that happen again to this poor thing and they start venturing deep into the mines.

Emil can hear the sounds of things moving around down here and he wonders what could be down here where as Indi seemed fully calm which was in most part to the fact he was walking around with Emil a Lightning god soul holder but he isn't even sure if Emil knows truly knows what he is and how amazing that power could be if he was to use it right and grow it and Indi feels he will have to make sure that this stupid man doesn't just write it off as nothing more than a parlor trick that, that voice in his head is a god that has given him a piece of his soul as a pseudo avatar of sorts for him, Indi looks around at the rocks and he thinks he sees signs of something being here and he taps Emil and points him toward where he thinks the lair of these creatures are.

This tunnel looked newer so maybe something had broken into it or someone that didn't get to tell the tale broke into it, they wouldn't know until they were to search the area and maybe find the point of entry or exit for these things. Emil went the way that the exceed had told him and he looked around but he was not a good tracker so he didn't know what he was to be looking for to trail these things so he had just kept his fists up at the ready for them and then they see it the mother load on a far wall but that meant getting through the room and digging unnoticed if there were things in this chamber of the mine. Indi doesn't trust it as it feels like a trap to him but Emil being not scared of anything went out into the room his fists at the ready as the beasts did indeed come out to play.

Emil is fighting them off while Indi went to get the goods and Emil was going to keep them busy while and their attention toward him and he lets out war cries and such to keep them focused on him and not to turn around to deal with the exceed that was getting the gems and such and marking the area for them to give to the client as Emil fights them he realized that lot of these seemed too small to have made the claw marks on the wall he had seen on the way into this area, these might just be children or young adult ones of this kind. He did not have to think about it for long as a much bigger on came out to greet them and to see what all of the noise was that it had been hearing as well as young one yelps.

Emil is now a bit scared of this turn of events but he can not say that he did not see it coming as he takes a deep breath and he runs in at the bigger one with his fists flying and ready to go for this was a grand place to deal with this and if he was to die he guessed that it would be a noble death in the jaws of a huge creature that had no want to even bother with him but just to defend it's home which was more the natural order of things in the wild but that didn't mean that she was a bad thing just one that was here for the fight to defend themselves. Indi is working hard to find a good vein for them to claim which means Emil will have to clear out this area which he seemed to be doing pretty well.

Emil finishes up with the fighting of the small ones and he Cracks his knuckles as he and the mother clash in the chamber. Indi has to keep refocusing cause he kind of wants to watch the fight but he knows that the mining here is to be the main event and that Emil is on thin ice at home and in the guild so they can't afford to really mess this up or Emil may be looking for a new home and he doubted that holly would follow behind him and ending up some where else in the country would probably mean he never gets to see the children unless holly is feeling generous at that time which after everything that happened Indi doubted that ever happening if he and Emil screwed this up. Emil ends up taking the large one down as well then walking toward the exceed that was still hard at work.

Emil starts helping the exceed get through the thicker layer of stone on top by punching and cracking it while coating his hand in lightning energy that was weakened by earth so it did most of the damage on the outer layer not on the inner layer which Indi was thankful for as anything more than that would probably damage the things under there that are more worth their time to dig and move around for jewels or as item pieces that can be refined and help power magic weapons that were around the world this was just a job for them but a bigger one for those that have to refine and clean and make sure that it is worthy of their times to take on. Emil and Indi get what they had come for and they walk back to the clients home that had the complaints in hand already as he had thought they would appear empty handed and ready to fight but they handed over the stuff they got as samples and handed the man a map to his claim, took their pay as well as the complaint which meant later that man was going to have to be questioned and the complaint looked into probably by the guild master to see if Emil hadn't done the job.
