RingIt seemed that Nyancelot had found another job for them to participate in, albeit this one? This one she had to admit was a bit weirder than the previous one. She was supposed to be playing the role of a storekeeper for the day. Nyancelot thought it was a suitable job, quite easy and free of danger. As such after they had received the details of the request from the store owner and took their place at the counter, Lily pondered just how important a task like this was. Certainly, it was important because it could keep business running, and she had to ensure nobody would try to steal anything. However, it still felt awkward to her.
She was not exactly someone that looked all that normal. Disregarding the fact she was an elf, she also possessed two different eyes that each had quite the unique look, more than enough for someone to get curious. The elf sighed gently as she watched a group of teenagers enter the shop and rudely started making a lot of noise.
It seemed they wanted to explore the back of the store, something the store owner clearly had forbidden. Nyancelot was already approaching them, seemingly attempting to scare the children away.
Still, for Lily her attention was elsewhere: She saw Hermes manifest beside her, the god humming in amusement. "Not exactly the most exciting of jobs right? Especially not after you dealt with these bandits last night."
Lily nodded her head sheepishly in agreement, albeit Hermes had more to clarify soon afterwards. "However, I do firmly believe that even the greatest need time to unwind and relax~ So a job like this every now and then isn't a bad thing on its own at all. Just take it easy and prepare for your next adventure."
Was all the man said before he disappeared, leaving Lily to wonder about his advice...
