Alejandro wasn't sure how long they would be able to keep this all up. The whole "Wing it without magic and weapons" thing was growing old, and quite frankly it was probably more dangerous than they realized. After the last job they took on this Island, they realized that there were actually some really strong people out there. The time would come when they would be completely outmatched just off of physical strength, speed, endurance and constitution alone. They needed to get better, to get stronger. Their father had blessed them with tomes of ancient magic about five years ago, so they had already learned the art of magic- and according to the elders, they had a lot of magical energy. The only problem was that they never took the time out to manifest that magic. It was getting real out here for the Elven Knight. If they didn't learn how to use their magic soon things would only go downhill from here.

They were stressed today. Between the stress work has been putting on them and the pressure that came with being naturally strong, they felt like at some point they wouldn't be able to keep up with all the expectations placed upon them. This was probably going to be their last day in Luluhawa island for a little while. They already had a plan for when they returned to Fiore; train. It was time to take their goals seriously. Kings guard was a possibility, especially with how many Captains and Captain Commanders were watching them. While at first the Rune Knights weren't something they found interest in, they became more passionate about their career over the past two weeks. It was time to get serious. With the increasingly difficult jobs they had been taking, they couldn't afford to get caught lacking. Kohana had once again reached out to the Seated Knight for help.

Apparently she was speculative of some secret operation that wasn't even actually secret since she knew about it. This wasn't the first time she had to hire someone to handle this issue. There were people planning on attacking the island- an army of mercenaries to be exact. This wasn't just some stopping a crime lord type of quest. Not at all. This was some high level shit and if all went left this could put their head on a pike and possibly fuck up all that was Luluhawa Island. Unfortunately for this Mercenary army, Ale had grown to love this island even more than any other place in the world right now. The people were loving, sweet, and rich with culture. It was safe to say that the Stellan was willing to put their life on the line if it meant saving this Island. Of course with the famous guild lady of Blue pegasus being named the protector of this here realm.

Alejandro didn't think they would need to do much in the grand scheme of things anyway. For now, their task was simple; Confirm that Herman Schwarz was amassing an army of mercenaries to march onto Luluhawa. One thing was for certain; no matter what country or island you happened to be on, there was always someone who sought power above all else. There was always going to be those set group of people who wanted to take control of a certain territory for whatever reason. Sometimes these people had a noble and/or righteous reason and other times people were simply sick in the head. Alejandro was sure that it was the latter for these group of mercenaries. Alas, as they walked towards Ainz forest with their best pal Happy, they kept their guard up. This was war and although they had absolutely no war experience, they knew it would be naive to simply waltz up in the enemy's camp.

Happy stepped up to the plate as always and flew above in the case that he could see anything that his partner could not. If there was anything fishy going on in any direction, Happy would be the first to know. In fact, he was basically leading the way. Between the two of them, when it was time to get serious neither of them broke out of concentration. It was like they were practically the same person. Happy wanted to get it over with as efficiently as possible and so did Alejandro. As the Celdruan walked through the forests they kept a look out, but then they heard a twig snap behind them. It was quiet in these parts so the sound of the twig snapping was enough to but them on guard immediately. Quickly, they turned with their hands up. Ready to attack or defend, they glared into the eyes of the intruder.

It was Keanu, another pretty well known native of the island. Alejandro sighed and shook their head. They proceeded to tell Keanu that they were about to knock his head off thinking that he was an enemy or something of that nature. Keanu's appearance was pretty random. How the hell did he know that the seated Knight would be out and about. Keanu was a Luluhawa native and his soul embodied the passion that was evident in the people on this island so he was easy to trust. Still, if Keanu knew of the mission then how many other people knew? Keanu mentioned that this was the second time anyone had scouted to see if an army was being formed, with the first person being none other than the Commander of Paradise Dawn. That came as no surprise. Yuurei was by far one of the strongest mages alive, if he was on Luluhawa then a task like this was perfect for him.

There was no way any of these mercenaries stood a chance against him. The two of them walked through the forest, making sure to be as quiet as possible so that they could hear everything around them. Ale and keanu spoke and got to know each other a little more. Keanu taught them more about the history of Luluhawa Island and the elf taught them about their family. It was a great way to pass the time. Keanu was interesting, and of course he was just as passionate about stopping these villains as both Alejandro and Happy was. Time went by and the trio were still looking around, making sure to keep themselves under the radar. Alejandro was prepared to do anything necessary should things change pace, but at the moment they took their time. It was until they looked up ahead and Happy turned to point that they saw a group of people rallied up.

It was no small group either, they were large in numbers. It had to be about sixty of them total. Quickly Alejandro hid behind a rock and Keanu hid behind on across from them. They listened in as much as they could to hear the conversations and sure enough they were talking about attacking. In fact, they were preparing to attack soon. In the next few days they were going to be marching on the island. This became something far more than Alejandro anticipated. Luluhawa island wasn't Fiorian territory so they doubted the Rune Knights would get involved, but maybe they could inform Alisa about what was going on. The elf had never met her before but they were sure she was a nice lady, capable of communicating and would get the gist rather quickly. She was the protector of this island after all so surely she didn't take threats lightly.

Suddenly one of the mercenaries saw them and pointed them out. Oh shit, Alejandro thought. They looked at Keanu and happy who looked back at them and the trio began to run through the forest almost in a panic as the mercenaries chased behind them. They continued to run, making sure not to lose their breath as they made turns to the left and turns to the right. If these mercenaries caught up they would probably want to fight and Alejandro was more so worried about Keanu. The poor guy seemed to be running out of pure fear. He told Alejandro to follow him but he wasn't as fast as the elf. If the they continued at this rate it would all b over before thy knew it. So what else was there to do but fight? Alejandro stopped in their tracks, allowing happy and the native of Luluhawa to continue forward.

Fuck it, they thought. Only when Alejandro turned their back to engage with the mercenaries did the exceed and the sprinting brown boy realize that Alejandro wasn't even with them. Alejandro wasted no time in engaging with the mercenaries. They would be sure to make this fight as quick as possible. They were already thinking ahead. If they were right, then there were bound to be more mercenaries chasing them, trying to catch up. Alejandro fought the mercenaries, taking some hits and getting bruised in the process but ultimately remaining victorious. The mercenaries weren't weak but there was no way they could keep up with the Stellan. Keanu watched in awe and Happy watched with a smile. He was pumped up and wanted in on the action too but he knew it was best to stay with Keanu. Alejandro was young but they were strong. A prodigy, if you will. In no time the battle was over and the trio would make their way back to the person who had given both Happy and Alejandro the task. When they reached her they reported everything they saw and received their reward.
