Description: This smithing hammer has runes running from end to end. When beaten against an anvil, the runes around the hammer glow a bright red and emanate heat, allowing a blacksmith to use the hammer to mold weapons and armor using only the hammer and anvil.

Lore: A hammer that belonged to Hephaestus.  It is one of many that Hephaestus used to forge his incredible creations.

Requirements: None.

Effects


  • God of the Forge: The user receives a cooldown reduction of 1 month on the creation of items in the Forge via Storylines.
  • Heat of the Furnace: The user may repair 1x S-rank durability on their equipment per turn at a cost of 500 mana. The user must pull out the hammer and slam it once on the piece of equipment that is in need of repair to apply this effect. The effect may be used on the user's equipment and the equipment of others. The effect can, however, only be used on items that are in the Weapon, Head, Body, and Off-Hand slot. Hephaestus' Hammer can only be used to repair up to 10x S-rank damage in a single topic after which it loses the ability to use this effect for the remainder of the topic.
