Tempris was on the verge of needing money again. She felt like her strength was getting stronger and maybe it was time to invest into a new piece of gear. While, her sword was still powerful and she now had some spells to sling, she felt like her defense was lacking. However there was a solution to fixing her defense issue. But that issue required her to get just a bit stronger and to make just a bit more money. Thus here she was.

The door opened with a bright swirling light. Out of the light stepped a little girl who resembled a nun in black who was also an adventurer. It was not too far off but the girl was not a nun nor was she truly an adventurer. She was a mage serving her lord with a dream to save the world from sin. Though today, she did not bring her sword. There was no point when she had this powerful magic in her corner.

Her client was Madam Suzumi. She owned a brothel and well, this was her first time inside the building. The previous two times she tried to enter, she was stopped because she was a child.

Lucky for her, she had this wonder item that just let her just walk inside of the building. This let her skip that annoying interact and allowed her to get on to the point. After all, she had a job to do.

Madam Suzumi was standing in the middle of the room, seemingly unamused. Tempris could only assume that the woman was expecting her and ready to stop anyone from preventing her from entering. Tempris followed the woman's orders and let her guide them to an array of room. The woman in the rooms were dress very... sinful. One of them was not even wearing a shirt. It was disappointing that such sin existed in a place that was public like this. Though Tempris did not know the purpose of a brothel. Madam Suzumi was very adamant about not answer that question and enduring the girl did exactly as she ordered without being curious. All she needed to know was that their was a thief and she thought one of her workers was responsible.

Tempris investigated each room for any signs of money, but there there was not a whole lot to look at. Besides weird objects of various shapes and bodies of weird liquids.

Ultimately, there was no signs of thievery yet. It was a shame cause Tempris really going to be allowed to "save" the guilty party. It was turning out to be a failure until the girl saw something move under a bed. Nobody else could see it cause they were so tall but being short and having room to join had it's perks... sometimes.

The boy tried to run but Tempris was small enough to follow him through his small holes and openings. It given her personal training, she was easily able to catch the boy. She brought him out into the opening complaining. Like how could they allow this kid to be here but she was not allowed.

Madam Suzumi was a little surprise that a kid managed to get in here... well, another kid. There was so much security and safety measures. Tempris could see the woman shoot glares at her every so often when speaking to the kid. Tempris ignored it, playing with an actual flame made through her magic. The woman eventually got the boy to admit that he stole the money, but the boy also revealed that he was homeless and he was only told to steal from the brothel.

He did not want to steal. The woman was not impressed but she was not willing to allow punishment to be made to a young boy. If anything, she rather the boy work off his crime. Tempris could see though that this was not forgiveness but sympathy. The woman was not only going to let him work here, she was going to let him stay here and get him cleaned up. The boy would no longer be homeless. He would no longer be forced to steal from the brothel to make a living. He would be able to survive doing easy honest work.

Tempris was a bit disappointed but even if she was asked to punish the kid, she did not think she could do it. Karisa would get upset and well... she kind of had a bunch of kids under her own watch at the guild that she saved from another bad group of people. It was funny... that the woman who had the appearance of being miserable to be around had a soft heart. Of course, Tempris was told not to say anything about it. Tempris happily complied and was finally given the money she earned. With that the girl left the brothel, or should she say was forced out of the brothel because... this place was not for children...
