Obasi
Obasi woke with a stir, his eyes still heavy with sleep. Today was his solo job so the octopus boy couldn’t keep snoozing away any longer. Even shady businessmen and villains needed to be punctual for their meetings after all. Besides, this would be his first job for Neal so he wanted to make a good impression. The growl in his tiny tummy told him that he needed to eat breakfast first. First thing he’d do was prepare a plate of eggs with some bacon and toast. He’d liked toast so he made sure to pick some up from the market. The eggs were first on his list of things to cook. They slid out of their shells with practiced ease, which was something he appreciated. Obasi wasn’t the best cook and it often showed in his eggs and pancakes. Today, however; things were going smoothly and so was the food. Next were the pancakes, which he’d also prepared like a master class chef. He didn’t have long to savor his victory though, because of the limited time he was working with. So like a little savage Obasi dumped the food down his gullet. A satisfied belch the only trace of their existence.

Obasi
After breakfast Obasi hurriedly made his way to Neal. The man was a professional thief, so he obviously wanted to meet someplace inconspicuous. It was no surprise then that the place in question was an alleyway. The young mage chuckled when he saw that it was behind a row of merchant stalls. No doubt these savvy men and woman would be torn from their precious wares soon enough. Not that it was his problem, Obasi was just here to collect some jewels and move on. He had better things to do than worry about the ills of merchants. Through the alley he went trying to avoid sleeping animal and man alike. After getting turned around a few more times he eventually met the infamous Neal. Obasi wasn’t sure if he should have been disappointed or not. The guy didn’t really stand out much and looked like he’d blended in with just about any crowd, but then again that made sense. A good thief knew not to attract attention to themselves, and he clearly did just that. Neal introduced himself with a shake, which Obasi happily returned. At least his employer was professional not only in dress, but also in communication.

Obasi
The bandit wasn’t much for pleasantries though and quickly got down to business. As someone who didn’t like messing around too much the boy also liked this aspect of Neal. “I am in need of a disguise, and you will help me acquire one.” Obasi responded with a simple nod of compliance. Before he could ask for further instructions the man handed him a list. “This is what I require from you. You can also rest assured that you will be rewarded for your cooperation, my young lad.” Finger narrowed on the row of stalls; it was all to clear to Obasi where he would be searching for these supplies. With another bow of the head Obasi bid his employer farewell. It was a simple job and he betted on his youthful guise to aid him in finding some suitable clothes for Neal. The first stall was simple enough to raid. The merchant was a plump and haughty woman who seemed to disregard Obasi as just some noisy kid. She didn’t even notice him take the mask and hat from its stand. The next stall was also easy enough to take from. His target was a cloak that was begging to be stolen. Next was an all-black suit that he was able to steal with even more ease than the cloak. Finally, he appropriated the last item on his list a simple pair of black shoes. All would not be well in the little wizard’s world as he’d run afoul of a Rune Knight. Not wanting to answer anymore of his questions the wizard skedaddled, leaving the rune knight eating his dust. After losing the knight he sought out Neal who seemed pleased and rewarded him generously.
