Jikan

The vile witch stood in front of Jikan, a cackle of a smile on her face due to her magical spell successfully taking Jikan's sight away. She even chuckled at Jikan and began to taunt her. "I'm so sorry I was boring you earlier, but you know how it goes. You have to set the stage with the proper set up to put on a great show". Unbeknownst to Jikan, the witch removed two daggers from her attire, a glare of light shined off of the bladed edge of them. "Know that the actors are on the stage, I will be sure to put on a fine show for my beautiful fans~".

The rogue dark magic user thought she had Jikan in her web, soon to be her prey to be played with, poked. Slowly and without mercy as her supporters cheered. But although Jikan had lost her eyes, she had a few more ways for her to see the world that her opponent had no idea about.

Concentrating her mana, Jikan began to extend both of her arms outwards to her side. At the same time that she was starting this action, a white .25 meter circle came into the world, with Jikan at its center. A small current of wind formed from Jikan, starting at her feet and moving upward beyond her full height. The wind danced around her, softly flicking her long auburn hair as her magic began to work.

Jikan

The wind expanded, staying within the confinements of Jikan's center location, moving out to cover five meters in all areas around her. A magic circle matching the white color could be seen on Jikan's core as she casted and sustained her spell.

Jikan stood in the ring, cool and calm at the situation she found herself in. If this...witch that she could easily defeat Jikan just because she took her sight away she had another thing coming. She had sight, in a different way than most people had. And beyond that, it was not like she did not have her ears. A lesser fighter would have been unprepared, a more inexperienced Jikan would not have been able to use her ears as a replacement, but that was the past and today was the present. Jikan's ears flicked as she heard the murmured and loud voices of the crowd. A few people wondering what Jikan magic spell would do, others saying it would not matter, that Chua would defeat Jikan in a minute or two.

Well, it was time to see about that.

Jikan let her opponent, Chua, close in on her with her daggers drawn at the ready. Just as Chua entered the edge of Jikan's wind sensoring range Jikan was now able to see, feel, what direction she was coming from. Jikan let her back foot inch back behind her and rested her hands down to her side. She was calm, loose, tranquil even.

Jikan

From the foot taps of her oppoet's body ad the wind resistance she felt from her sustained wind spell, Jikan could feel Chua getting close to her. 4 meters, 2 meters, then finally one meter away. One of Chau's daggers, the one in her left hand, rose up ready to strike. Slicing through the air like butter her blade an arms reach from reaching her target. She lunged forward. But Jikan could sense her, feel her, see her. Sliding her back foot back, Jikan turned her body while patting the outward arm of Chua that held the bladed weapon. The momentum of Chua's attack continued due to her last minute lunge, causing her body to land a couple of meters away from Jikan.

Jikan spun on her heel, charging forward with her momentum in a zig zag pattern. Finish up her approach Jikan jumped into the air, her arms pulled to her side hands closed to a tight fist to her core. She let one of her feet dangled in air, the other pulled back behind her. Extending one of her closed fists away from her core in an open palm stance still in the air, Jikan rotated her body and threw her leg out in a wide arc kick towards Chua.

As she threw her kick out, Jikan watched as Chua's bodied turned back to face her. Caught off guard and unprepared, Chua was unable to react to Jikan's kick, taking the strike to her left rib cage and being pushed away with a groan.

Jikan

The female magic user landed on her feet and quickly dashed forward back towards Jikan, a speck of small dust from the pebbles and sediment of the stage behind her. This time flinging one of her daggers at Jikan as she kept the other in her hand. The blade quickly made its way to Jikan, whizzing past Jikan's chest. Missing a vital spot of her organ that would have been a kill shot area if it had successfully landed. Using her speed Jikan once again moved out of the way of the attack by jumping to the side, only to be hit still with a slash.

Jikan held her side for a moment, checking to ensure her side was okay. A small cut was present on her body now, along with a small flow of blood, but overall Jikan was fine and was not hindered at all. Jikan had to put her focus back on the battle though, for Chua was upon her once again. Chua threw her dagger previously but she still had her other blade in her hand. Pulling her dagger to her side, Chua held it with a vice grip as she made her way towards Jikan. With her sword at the ready, Chua slashed with her dagger, moving with a horizontal slash to Jikan's hip area. Once again Jikan would attempt to avoid the attack on her, backpedaling a few steps to move out of range of the blade. This time Jikan was successful, dodging the possible blow to her stomach.

Jikan

Chua followed Jikan's motion, telling that Jikan was preparing to counter attack, she back stepped. Swinging her bladed dagger in an upward diagonal motion in expectation of Jikan pursuing her. Chua using her offense as her defense, hoped that the strike would either hold Jikan back or land an unexpected blow should the woman come within range of her weapon.

That hope or bet would pay off, for this time around Jikan was forced to not counter attack. The initiation action making her body hop back and before she could fully commit herself to strike out, the edge of Chua's blade was on its way to greet her approach. The lane of Jikan jumping into the personal space of the witch was cut off, unavailable to Jikan to use. Forcing her to back off for now.

But soon she was away, having space to consider her next action. As she had no long range magic spells yet, Jikan chose to charge forward once again.  Jikan hopped into the air once again, flying forward to throw out a punch with a heavy amount of momentum behind it.

Chua was in the middle of her back peddling and soon Jikan was finally in range again. Jikan lifted her hands up into the air, intertwining her fingers, she then slammed it down over the female wizard. The blow slammed and landed on Chua's shoulders, slamming them to the ground and then kicked, sending her in a roll.

"You will pay for that!".

Jikan

The threat towards her just bounced off of Jikan. She did not care if this champion was getting angry, in fact, it pleased her. The more emotional Chua would get, the more impatient and sloppy she would get, in the end, making it even easier for Jikan to beat her. Time to get some space in her head.


She shook her head to loosen her hair, and let a chuckle to escape her lips. "Is that so? Well, that would be a nice change of things. From how things have been going so far, I was beginning to think you had a think for getting hurt. You seemed to be all to be happy to allow me to beat you up so far".

If looks could kill Jikan would be dead right now, but the animalistic growl that left Chua was more than enough for her to known she got under her skin. Jikan gave her a smug grin in response, just to egg her on even more and make her lose her cool. There was so much darkness and anger in this witch trying to hurt Jikan, well, at this point really kill her. Uncontrolled. All to easy for her to use against her.

Chua leaped into the air throwing out a anger filled cry as she did so, "SHUT UP. DON'T YOU TALK DOWN TO ME YOU OLD HAG". She came in blind, just as Jikan had expected. While her opponent's body was in the air, Jikan quickly moved her hand back down against the ground, picking up the other dagger that was previously thrown in the match. In a well aimed thrown, she tossed the dagger with all her might into the air of Chua. A cry was unleashed as she dropped her other dagger and lose her position in the air. It was all too easy then for Jikan to leap into the air and aim a striking kick to the head, knocking the emotional fighter unconscious.
