Yugo
After losing at the final Cup game round, Yugo heartily left and thanked the skeleton for the challenge. He didnt normally lose games like that, it was nice to know there was still competition to be had. The Man laughed as he left and after a moment, he began to look for another game to play. He would normally be getting plastered by now, but he was feeling a draw to the games and wanted to compete in each and every one. He soon stopped at a new stand that inmade him curious. He read the sign as “Pin the Heart” and seeing the few people play the game as he stood at the edg eof the area, he understood the concept quickly.

He couldnt help but think of it as childsplay, a simple game of remembering the placement after being made dizzy by spinning was a easy game for Yugo to win. He got into the line and waited as he watched. Each person who went up, all seemed to have an equal chance of winning. This made Yugo sad, it wasnt a game based on skill, it was a game based on Luck, something Yugo didnt put any stock into. But something still drove him to wait in line, perhaps it was his inner competitiveness, but Yugo wanted to try it out all the same.

Soon it was his turn, as he was blindfolded and spun around three times, Yugo was shocked by how suddenly dizzy he was, They must have been using magic of somekind he thought, and smirked to himself as he desired now to fight through the dizzyness and to pin the heart where it belonged. He stutterly walked, barely able to stand up with how dizzy he was. He slammed home the pin, or at least he was sure he had in his minds eye. He lifted his blindfold to see.

Samhain: Pin The Heart Empty Thu Oct 22, 2020 9:12 am

Odin †

At the final utterance of 'Bloody Mary', a ghoul appeared in the mirror. A woman, although she was horribly disfigured and covered in what could only be blood. She howled and screeched as she reached out for Odin, giving the Lich a fright as she latched onto him and tried to drag him into the mirror with her. He wasn't used to getting frights, but this certainly warranted one as far as he was concerned. "Fuck, get off me." Collecting his thoughts, he would grab her by the throat with his gauntlet. She had momentarily gotten the better of him, but that moment had passed, and he was a Wizard Lord. One of the strongest dark mages in Fiore. He was not about to be outdone by a random ghoul who lived in a mirror. He crushed her throat and threw her back into the mirror, back to whence she came.

As soon as that happened, the room shifted around Odin, becoming another booth for another game. Perhaps that was how the Void operated: all the games took place in one room but the room itself reflected the gauntlet of challenges that the Lich would have to journey through. It mattered very little, as it simply meant he had to complete another task.

This one was another new one for Odin, but it was a fairly simple task he was given. He had a heart attached to a pin, and he was to place it where it was meant to go on the skeleton. Ignoring the obvious irony of Odin not having a heart himself, the Lich took the piece of cloth from the skeleton, the same one from the previous game, and wrapped it around his one eye and his free socket. It certainly wasn't comfortable, but he only had to wear it for a few seconds as he was spun once, twice, three times, just to ensure he had no idea which was was up, and where the paper skeleton could be. Oh well, here we go.

Well, that first game didn't turn out well since he had failed it so miserably. That kind of blows but shichiro would get over it. It's not like he was gonna get a fancy prize anyway, right? Anyway, the skeleton had apologized for his lose but quickly told him to cheer up since there was a lot of other games where he had a chance to win a lot of the prizes. Now shichiro wasn't sure what exactly he was able to win but it didn't matter at this point. All he wanted to do now was just win for the sake of winning and getting over the small lose he had just suffered for not bein able to guess where the eyeball was. Well, he heard the freaky skeleton man, he had more chances to win so take he was gonna go and take them, if only to satisfy his own hurt ego. Well, onto the next game then. "Alright, so what's next then," shichiro asked the skeleton a bit impatiently. The skeleton looked at shichiro and told him the rules to the next game. The game rules were quite simple, he was to simply put on the blindfold, be spun around three times and try to pin the heart on the fake skeleton made of paper. Well, at least this one was made out of paper, he wasn't quite sure about the other one though since he hasn't really made contact with it. Giving a small sigh, shichiro put on the blindfold before saying giving the skeleton word he was ready to be spun around. The skeleton gleefully approached shichiro and began to spin him around a total of three times. Feeling a bit strange, it was now up to shichiro to successfully pin the heart if he wanted to win his prize, whatever that may be.

Maneki
"Iya, iya, what the hell are you?" was what Maneki said the first time he was greeted by a skeleton—a live skeleton! He had a handkerchief held out which Maneki took by instinct, with no questions asked and with no complaints given in return. "Oya? A game booth—ooh, candies..." in that quick turn, Maneki was interested, thus turning around to let the skeleton tie the handkerchief around his head to cover his sight, when whooooosh, he was spun around one, two... three times in total! Maneki felt all dizzy; and the pin in his hand felt like it wasn't held between his fingers. When he faced the skeleton (or at least, believed that he did so), he had the pin faced forward, and Maneki couldn't even stand still, but was unable to completely fall due to great balance. At this state, it was a very uncomfortable act for the Nekomata.

This was Maneki's first game in Samhain and it wouldn't feel so nice if he had lost. "Gotta get the pin right, gotta get the pin right," since the skeleton did not speak, it felt as if Maneki was speaking to thin air the whole time. Now, that's a very mean way to treat a customer correctly! Or... it must be the better choice, actually; Maneki reached the hand out in a swift motion, as if stabbing the target (and hopefully, he had stabbed the correct one after that spin), and indeed—the cat felt as if he had stabbed something, after all! He struggled to rid off the handkerchief and with an excited look on the Nekomata's face, he was ready to get upset see what the future held out for him! He stared right at where he pinned the heart on, not sure what to do next or if he had to do anything after that. All the work for two pieces of candies.

Coming through a door, Vice has entered some Void place. What a coincidence, Vice happens to have Void Magic, but he can't void others for some reason. Happily progressing through the scenery brings Vice to not wanna change his prior costume. Everything is still very scary, so it's most comfortable to be an orange lizard. Real losses are unavoidable, and Vice happens to have the time for more. Magical stuffs can't help Vice cheat enough with the skelly games. Every day grows closer to becoming the greatest orange lizard trainer there ever was. Once Vice has prepared himself enough for another nonsense game, he's come to greet another scary skeleton.

Operating under the assumption of skelly being a mob boss, Vice complies with all instructions, to save his dignity. Receiving a handkerchief, Vice blindfolds himself, and gives himself up to the machinations of evil. Gambling is an evil thing, but it's a good thing Vice is not betting anything. Hooded into the boniness of his costume is an Eru that looks around Vice. While it looks around, the skeleton stares at the pet, and Vice has a shiver go down his spine. Getting twirled a bit, Vice has already been briefed on what's supposed to be done. Flailing around makes Vice give his best shot at hitting a fake skeleton that has a paper nest. The whole process doesn't feel safe to Vice, and he feels like the mob boss Lich can be potentially thrown into a rage.

"I didn’t want to play it safe with a skeleton costume, I want people to know I have guts." Cringing with a moan, Vice lets known his intentions. He'll win a game no matter what! There's no reason to assimilate with these skellies.

Besouro
Once again, the wandering insect was instructed to wait outside on its lonesome while the attending skeletons rushed behind a hanging curtain- the usual handkerchief did not fit its abnormally large mutated anatomy, and as such a replacement was needed if they wished the game to be fair. After a few minutes of muffled crashes and very audible rips, a single disheveled skeleton emerged from the cloth door holding a scarf. Besouro amusedly let it approach its person, ducking its horned head downwards so it could wrap the fabric around its remaining eye. The action was done so with a surprising tenderness from one who didn't have skin, which the guildless demihuman appreciated. After satisfied the job was done, the skeleton began directing it to spin around in place.

Though it didn't have the same ears or sense of balance as full humans, evidently there was some Samhain magic at play, because it quickly found itself disoriented after only a couple of circles. Once finished, it stumbled on its feet, heart pin clutched between chitinous fingers. Surely this wouldn't be too hard. Surely it could pin this on the skeleton... It made the motion to do so before taking the scarf off to view the fruits of its labor.

Hopefully, all would be well.

Samhain: Pin The Heart Empty Sun Nov 01, 2020 6:19 am

Steel

Steel had gone through the usual haunts, he had gone through Samhain's tower and he had gone through the rave garden of no actual rest And now he was in the white room of madness known to some as the void. Hewas no longer skipping, instead he walked like a zombie towards the next game. He was losing all of the games that he went to. His luck was shit. He was laughing very loudly. And he was crying softly. But he was also angry with a raging hate fire. The puke had started loosening from his mask. The long since dried blood stuck to his tuxedo was now gone. He had now also pissed himself out of fear for bloody Mary whom he had met in a dark room that was a part of the last game he played.

It was time to go on to the next game. Going up to the game booth Steel looked the skeleton dead in the empty eye sockets. Then he laughed loudly. The skeleton did the same. Steel no longer really talked after all. He had said trick or treat so many times that his voice had disappeared. The skeleton in the booth explained the rules of the game. You had to pin the heart in the location of a skeletons chest whilst wearing a blindfold and being nauseous from being spun around. Steel agreed to the game's rules since he just wanted pops anyway. Then he got the blindfold on got spun and tried to win this game.

Karisa

Kurisa got scared over some chick that decided to scare her. It was a real ghost. It was a pity that the place did not give them a story. She enjoyed stories about those of the horror genre. Once again she was alone and looked at different games. The next one seemed to be one with a blindfold and pinning something. It reminded her of all those years ago where she had to do the same thing. How many years ago was that exactly? She felt like she was getting older, but since she was a Neph her aging was very slow compared to humans.

"You up for a game, Miss?" The skeleton escorted her to the game and blindfolded her quickly. "All you gotta do is pin the right spot!" They instructed. What would happen if she missed? She had no clue where they positioned her since they grabbed her and did it all right away. It went by so fast, the time. She stood there as she tried to make her body feel more easy from all the spinning. It was quite chaotic for her body that was turning frail due to her illness of the curse. Rather or not she will win this was up in question.

Juni Anastos
Juni was sad. So sad she was getting shit faced in the middle of the void because she knew for a fact that the last two games that she would be playing would be a loss, just like all the other games. If memory served her right she had only won two of the games and memory right now was not serving anything. Wandering around she would eventually come across one of the last few games she made a pact to play. Taking a deep breath and downing the rest of her booze she chucked the cup. With a poked out chest and all the confidence of a rooster, Juni walked on over to the skeleton man. The Skeleton greeted her happily and helped blindfold the drunk girl. All Juni had to do was pin the heart on the paper skeleton and she would win. It was an easy task that was made harder with her drinking and even harder when she was spun around three times while forgetting where the paper skeleton was. Taking deep breaths she slowly moved forward, her hands out to help her feel when she got to her target. Once she finally thought she got to it she slapped the heart wherever it would stick and quickly looked to see if she had gotten it right.

#20Masami

Samhain: Pin The Heart Empty Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:32 pm

Masami
This is the last game in The Void; there were still more places to visit and, although the narrator tries hard to comfort their character, it seems as if Masami's contrasting personality will continue to stay a very saddened state until he wins a single game! Maybe the RNG-goddess will take pity on the poor kid, and give him a win, just this once! That was what has been coming to Masami's mind, despite them being nonsense because metagaming isn't a thing, he'd still continue to play these skeleton games and hope that he wins. More prayers ahead, preferably.

One of these games caught Masami with a pin, in a more lucid and wild state. "Pin the heart," they say, after spinning him up to three times with a blindfold on; in this state, Masami would really want to pin the heart. Or rather, he probably would not mind pinning it on the skeleton themselves, as much as he'd assume. Although he was trying to focus since the previous games, this one was left out of the list. No more focusing and just relying on luck, and then hoping that he'd win; perhaps pin someone's eye by accident. They'll never know until he removes the blindfold.

Günter Von Wolf

Gunter heads to the next tent where he's unsurprisingly greeted by a skeleton, wow what a plot twist, and yes he has a shotgun. The skeleton greets him and informs him that it's his second to last. His semi-final, even. "Are you ready? Ah, we know you aren't, you're gonna fail. Sorry, your luck is shit. You suck ass. I've seen blind fuckers get more lucky than you. Here's what you do. Heard of pin the tail on the donkey? Same thing, but pin this heart to the paper skeleton. Paper on paper. Understand? Not on your last brain cell? Cool."

Gunter grabs the heart and puts the blindfold on, Gunter walks towards the real skeleton. The skeleton then tells him that there'll be distractions as well, and as soon as he says this, he feels a meaty slap on his face. "Ooooh~!" a manly voice speaks out, turned on and ready. Gunter continues on, trying to endure the repeated meaty wet slaps from this maze clown's advances.

If he succeeds he'll successfully pin the heart in the right place. The clown would say "Ooooh~! You did good, boy!". If he fails, Gunter would get slapped around so much that he accidentally pins the skeleton that gave him the stuff in the first place, and gets pimp slapped to the floor by the clown from earlier.

Either way, reward or no, Gunter would quickly take off his blindfold and get out of there regardless of whether he has a reward or not.

Alyssandra
Whatever was special about the chant, Aly had clearly gotten it wrong as a ghoul emerged from the mirror, giving him a good fright and then he moved on with his life. At least, that's what Aly would forever tell anyone who asked of that moment. In reality it had gone down very differently. Just like in the Haunted House with the clown, Aly had squealed at the sight of the ghoulish woman, almost fainting on the spot as all the colour left his face. Unlike the clown, this woman was not just hear to make him look stupid, she was here to kill him. he could tell, he knew it, and he instantly ran out of the tent towards anywhere else.

After a few moments, although it had really been hours, Aly appeared before the next game, unsure of what was happening as he misplaced his entire being. He walked into the next game, where he had to put a paper heart in the right place: in the centre and to the right a little of the paper skeleton. Unfortunately, Aly had been blindfolded again, and spun around three times so he had no idea which way was forward or up. He just had to hope he guessed correctly.
