PouchKazimir stood on top of the roof of the building. He looked over the calm city that he was in. A lot had happened to him here. The final stage of his magic was within his grasp and he found the woman he loved. The wind s blew northward once more and so he would follow.
The wind mage jumped from the roof and with a whistle, a large burst of feathers soared above him. A shadow cast down engulfing the mage's body. A griffon flew overhead and swooped down beneath the mage to whisp him high into the air. The two broke into the clouds and spun, leaving a wispy trail behind them.
Off the flew towards Hosenka. The land raced by beneath them and kaz leaned forward on the griffons back. The wind pushed back his hair. His face was almost pressed against the feathered back of the winged beast.
The town of Marigold was behind them now. Hosenka was on the horizon. Within it was both his love and the showdown that would set his life free. His revenge would finally come to pass and he could put it all behind him. The griffon landed on the outskirts of the city with the sun still high in the sky. But as they entered, a man rushed forward. Sweat on his brow and panic in his eyes. He was the herald of a message. Grim news about the guildhall.
