It was Noels second day in Marigold when he was seen wandering the streets once again. It had seem commonplace for the regular folk to avoid being near him. That was understandable, Noel thought. After all - most thought he was a villain. They didn't know his morals, what he stood for and the code that he adhered; all they knew is that the royals had classified him as a Hazard.

It didn't matter to him though, for he knew he was a righteous keeper - someone who kept the empire safe should the call of duty fall upon him. Though his peers who'd do the same have proven to go beyond the call of duty to lick the kingdoms boots. Noel wasn't like that. And today was going to be about proving once again what type of man he was.

During his visit to most cities around the Fiore continent, he'd seek towards getting a taste of local culture. The male had decided to visit the theatre, as he didn't want to scare people away, he decided to wear a poorly knit scarf around his face to make his identity a bit obscure. There were almost no people around when he arrived at the destination. Maybe the scarf wasn't needed after all? There was an open door session being held for an improv stand-up. When Noel entered the theater, nobody properly received him - as a reception would usually do. There was just a whiteboard sitting on a chair with the instructions to the theater where the improv show was being held. "Hello, is there anyone here?" His voice echoed through the empty halls of the formerly famed theater. It really had seen its happier days, Noel figured as he started following the instructions listed on the whiteboard. Eventually, he'd arrive at the seating for the audience.

The first thing Noel was noticed was the podium. Three beaming lights had been aligned upon it. The second thing he noticed was the empty audience, it was hard to see initially due to the theater being generally dark. Jet remained in the lobby of the theater while this was unfolding, picking apart various precious metals to pocket for his master. Music was being played in the background. Noel took a seat in the center of the audience seating. There were many rows, and the theater had a grand podium. Four figures stood on the podium, after Noel sat down he could finally hear them. The blaring music made their vocals quite muffled. It was way too loud, Noel saw how the lacrima powered speakers were pointed completely at the audience. He'd cross one leg over the other, squinting slightly at the podium to try to catch what they were saying. The music was very intense.

Suddenly the spot light was turned to Noel who was somewhat blinded by it. He withdrew his hand and covered the direct source of the light against his eyes with his hand. The music cut out for a second, as someone from the podium yelled at him. "Would you like to join the stage, sir!!?" Noel was baffled - was this a regular night? Maybe he'd walked in on them practicing? "No, I'm alright." He'd reply to one of the actors of the improv show. How typical to force unwanted interaction with the crowd, Noel figured. The music continued after the main actor mumbling away insults that Noel couldn't hear. Out of artistic integrity, Noel was getting quite hot headed at the degeneracy of their improv show. They were slapping each other with large pink dildos, sexual props maybe was one of the reasons why this show was as deserted as it was. It took quite a while to end, it seemed like the main actor was in the middle of a drug fueled rage.

After his eyebrow had been done twitching, Noel decided to put an end to it. He'd try his best to put a halt to this show, there wasn't anyone other than him watching anyway. "Alright, guys.. let's stop." He said to the performers, who at first glance didn't seem to hear him - or pretend that they couldn't hear him at least. It was very embarrassing to look at. "I think I've seen enough. I may have some ideas you guys may be interested in." Noel assumed he wasn't the first one to try and help them out, they must have been very noble and denied any help. Truth of the matter was a bit more complicated, it seemed like they have truly tried everything - but none of it has helped so far. After the gang calmed down somewhat, Noel went back stage with the group where they all had a cup of coffee and a sit down.

It was very unlike Noel to assume a leadership role position as fast as this, but he knew a burning wreck when he saw one. And the others most likely saw this too. "Okay, so first is - thematically.." Sipping from his coffee, Noel looked around to see if there was a blackboard at his disposition. There was, and he pulled it to the table so all of the performers could see. He'd make a simple drawing of a couple of different themes. Fantasy, Action, Drama, Comedy, Mystery, Crime and a few others. "It is very important that a show follows two main themes. One is too monotone for an audience, while two will keep their attention drawn." Noel as example encircled two genres and moved to the right of the board. "Second." He'd continue, the performers were curiously watching him without asking any questions. It wasn't the first time Noel was giving lessons, as he's taught anything ranging from high ranking military officers to young medical professionals.

Noel tapped his foot a little, he'd draw the symbol of jewels on the board. "So you guys have no marketing, no flyers - nothing. I assume you're in some financial struggle, ..." Noel went on to pitch the idea of them going to investors, once they had a great idea for a show. Get them on board, and then market through the financial foothold they could grant them. An issue arose with whether the show would have to be more commercial if that was the case, and that person was right. Noel iterated that the success on the show depends not only on the writing and the acting, but also the marketing. So even if they had a godly show, with nobody in the audience it wouldn't matter. Not like they had world famous actors to carry the show through marketing solely on their reputation either. So choices had to be made. After a long brainstorm with the writers, they begun working on a new show. The rest of the talents had gobbled up to come up with a set and almost in unison the actors began working together to setup something great. Noel was down to arrange a meeting with the bank so they could get a loan for this idea.

It wasn't ideal, since Noel wasn't too closely involved in the writing to find out what the actual plot was going to be. It was quite known that he had a silver tongue - he could sell this project to an investor without breaking sweat. After a days of work, and some calculation - the actors required a few million jewels for marketing and the decoration, wages and other services. Opening night costs half a million, with fifty seats filled they cut even on the loan. Every night additional after that would be profit. Could they fill at least fifty seats? The theater had room for four hundred, easily.

As the day progressed, Noel eventually wound up at the local Marigold farmers trust fund bank. It was a mouthful, and by persisting he got setup with an early meeting with one of the banks investors. "My theater is in a prime location, its reputation exceeds its prestige, and with ..." Noel began selling the idea to the bank that they could invest in this show, receive a five percent margin on opening night. Only fifty seats to fill up the theater to break the costs, and anything above that they'd get a five percent cut on. The bank investor and Noel bumped elbows, and agreed on the deal. Noel considered himself a ruthless business man, because if the show did end up failing the bank would be out on their money. By playing the bank like this, it gave Noel some options. He headed back to the actors theater, and retrieved a lot of semi poorly drawn posters and flyers for the opening night. Dropping the bars of jewels off at the same time. He'd return to the Marigold streets with a bag of these posters and flyers, with the activation of his spell Wingardium Leviosa, he rapidly spread the posters through town. His Flight or Fly spell aided this, it took roughly five minutes for him to stamp the town under more than a thousand of these posters and flyers.

He returned to the theater to give his input on the story of the act, and improve it a little. Acting wasn't his forte, lying was - he tried using this skill in situations where the actor could apply the same. It was tough to train them using soft skills such as this, but through practice and repetition the actors were improving at their job. They remembered their lines very well because Noel was very strict about it. They probably felt intimidated by him.

Noel had influenced the marketing a little bit more than he intended, shortly following his poetry contest - people assumed that this opening night was officially endorsed by him as well. While he didn't mind being somewhat 'positively' seen into the news as this, the uncertain outcome made him slightly more nervous than he anticipated. His reputation was on the line, even though that wasn't his intention. Having read the script a couple of times, he knew it word by word. He'd have practiced the lines with the actors, while at the same time yelled and screamed at the writers for making them. What had come out was a near perfect play, and during opening night it was beloved by many.

The metacritics rated it highly, roughly eighty seats were filled day one. The bank had certainly gotten a bit of profit, though day two all of the seats were filled consequently for the following weeks. The shows prestige had risen to unknown levels, a few weeks after it finished a few actors in an interview have said that Noels perfectionism had brought the show to the great value known today, but at the same time has doused the kindling flames of many young talent that will never reach their peak again.

In any case, Noel thought his job was well done when opening night had concluded very successfully. His reputation had increased towards a more positive side once more which is what his original intention was. The staff of the theater payed him a small cut the same way the bank was paid after a few following weeks, certainly lining his pockets up enough for him to use it on stupid things again, such as a timeshare penthouse in crowded cities. This job was quite unlike any job he's done before, while this added to his repertoire it seemed unlikely he will do something like this again in the soon future.
