Kaiser

Kaiser was out in the streets of Magnolia city, looking around to see if there was anything she could do to immerse in the ongoings of the lovely city. She found herself just always seeking for ways to get involved, wanting to be known and in a positive way so that she could have an influence over these people. At least she had someone to accompany her when she did this, and that was her little ferret friend Pabu. After buying some clothes for her at a pet clothes store, Pabu was no longer the humble (and naked) fur ball anymore. She was flaunting her bodily features with the most fashionable ferret clothes out there. Kaiser found this very amusing and had nothing to say about it. During these boring days at Magnolia, that was at least one of the sources of entertainment for her. Even though she had been here for a while now, Kaiser was still getting used to the vibe of Magnolia. Maybe she was just too gloomy to adapt, but she was trying anyway. The month seemed to pass in a flash, and it seemed like she had done nothing productive during the past time. She wondered how her guildmates who were not in Magnolia were doing. She received a telepathic message from Nuala once she had completed her duty of taking over the South Gate Park. She was quite impressed. The first location that her guild was able to take over, and it was one of those famous spots, a tourist attraction. She inhaled, satisfaction evident on her features as she walked along the streets. Much to her surprise she was suddenly surrounded by a bunch of cheerful people who seemed to be decorating the streets for some event that she was not aware of.

“Excuse me, what’s going on here?” she asked a man who was part of the activity. He had this big smile on his face that was so contagious, Kaiser found herself smiling as well, which was pretty weird but she could not help reciprocating the cheerfulness for some reason. She normally did not smile so wide to strangers she was just meeting, so it was definitely something crazy going on. Maybe he possessed a magic that made people smile like idiots? It was weirder when Kaiser stole a glance at her pet to see why she was so quiet, and found her smiling as well. Kaiser’s eyes widened a little to reflect the surprise that she felt upon noticing that her pet fur ball was also under the effect of this man’s magic or whatever it was that he was using to make them both smile so much. The man introduced himself as Medias and explained to Kaiser about what was going on here. Apparently he was just being a great dad who wanted his daughter to have the best birthday, by having it in the streets with all these people, and so they were doing the decoration for the party. The man then proceeded to ask if Kaiser would be willing to help, offering to pay for her work as he was doing so for the rest of these people as well. Kaiser did like having an easy way to earn money. It also looked like he was one of those influential people in Magnolia, so she decided to make small talk with him after agreeing to helping out. There was not much to do, since a lot of people were helping him. That was how she assumed that he was probably one of those important figures of Magnolia.

Pabu was also being quite helpful. She helped the little girls who were a part of the decoration team carry things around as she tried to befriend them. It was a pretty fun experience for the little fur ball, since she did not usually get the chance to make friends with children. Since she was sort of still pretty young as well. Kids loved her company and while the decorations were being put up, they also played around. The man who was known was Medias had also offered drinks and snacks for the people who were helping him. It already looked like a party, having all these people in the streets having a fun time just to decorate for a birthday party. Kaiser wondered where the birthday girl was at this time. She imagined that her client would have sent her somewhere fun to keep her distracted from this. She could not stop smiling the whole time too, it was weird but she just could not help it for a very odd reason. It was not harming her or her pet in any way, though, so she refrained from trying to find out what the cause of this was. Kaiser tried to mingle with the adults who were helping out so that she could not only get payment out of this quick job, but also some insight from Magnolians on some things she wanted to find out, like what they thought about the Daeva Eye guild. It was kind of strange that Medias did not recognize her, but maybe it was because he was kind of busy and had a lot of other things to think about, that he missed it. The vampire continued to help around but Medias promised her the payment after two hours of work, so once the time was up Kaiser informed him of this and added that she would have stayed longer if she did not have other work to do, and this made Medias curious about what she did, and so she told him that she was the guildmistress of Daeva Eye. Her client immediately went ‘Ohhhhh’, recognizing the guild as the one that was currently taking control of Magnolia now. He then expressed how glad he was that he could meet the mistress of such a successful guild. The vampire smiled and nodded along with him, then got paid and left with Pabu.
