Range: 25 Meters
Cooldown: 5 Posts
Duration: Instant
Effect: The user creates a wild rush of wind. The Whirlwind begins any place within 25 meters of the caster and whirls in a 16-meter diameter. The user creates a circle with his arms in front of his chest and clinches his fists. He then opens his hands and thrusts one hand outward where he wants the whirlwind to originate. A white seal appears under the caster and another seal will appear at the origin point that the 16-meter diameter whirlwind will appear. The whirlwind deals 2x S-rank damage. The user can make the circle with his arms and extend both hands outward to create a 32-meter diameter tornado at the location instead. The 32-meter diameter tornado deals S-rank damage.

Tempest magic: Offensive spells are treated as one rank higher

Hello, I'll be grading your spell.

  • Though this is not required for you to add into the description, please do note that spells require time to travel to the target location.

    Spell Origin: Spells that do not originate from the user, but from a target location will need the time required to travel from the caster towards the intended location before it is activated. A magic seal will appear at the intended location for the duration it takes to activate, in addition to a magic seal at the caster.

  • Since your magic does double damage, there would be no X-Rank, only 2 x S-Rank damage since we don't have X-Rank as a measurement. I'm assuming the range increase is from your Sorcerer class and it's not supposed to be mentioned upon spell creation, only during posts.

I made the edits. I assume you mean the size of the 32 meter whirlwind. I misremembered the rule. I thought you could lower the dmg by one rank to double the spell area. The rule is that it takes on the area of a spell one rank higher, but there is no x rank spell stuff. My bad.

But it should be good to go now. Let me know if there is anything else.

I'm a little confused with the way the spell is worded.

The user creates a wild rush of wind. The Whirlwind begins any place within 25 meters of the caster and whirls in a 16-meter diameter.

This states that you can cast the spell anywhere within 25 meters.

A white seal appears under the caster and at the point that the 16-meter diameter whirlwind will appear.

But, this one states that the spell is casted on you, so 16m diameter from your body. Therefore, I'm not sure which one I should follow. Could you please clarify? For the double range, let me confirm it with the staff and I'll let you know.

I changed the wording on it so hopefully, it makes more sense. The idea is to be able to cast it anywhere within 25 meters. I included the second part because of this requirement in the spell regs

I understand, thanks for the clarification. The double range is approved for reducing the damage, so you would be dealing 1 S-Rank damage with your spell. Feel free to add it in your spell if you wish.
