Her light blue hair is long, so long it almost reaches her ankles, and smooth straight silky strands flowing around her as she dances. Her eyes are a bright yellow and her skin a creamy pale colour. She is often seen wearing her dancing outfit, a long white dress with blue ribbons tied around it, sometimes with fake gold designs, and a silted open on the left side to her upper thigh. Her feet are bare, with a white leg rapping on her right leg and on her left a fake gold bracelet on her angle and upper thigh. She wears long white gloves and a beautiful gold necklace with a blue gem in the middle, along with a veil in her hair. She has a similarly designed outfit, except in a dark purple and a face veil used for darker bar dancing. She often carries around a spear for self-defense.
Extra: None Personality Personality: Nova is a very straight-forward woman who knows when to go with the flow or stand against the tide. She likes to treat people with kindness and doesn’t expect much in return, a good trait for a healer. She loves her magic and what it does and enjoys healing people and animals, curing them of pain. If life would allow her Nova would spend her time going to areas ravaged by war or famine and aid people there. When healing or dealing with kind or trustworthy people Nova is known to smiles softly and speak happily with these people or her daughter. But if she finds someone who is injured, sick, or not treating their bodies right and not following her healing orders she is known for getting temperamental with them, sometimes even biding people to their sick beds But past instances have also made her wary of strangers particularly men. When meeting new people she doesn’t immediately feel like trusting or liking Nova can be withdrawn and cold, even paranoid with people. She is known to dislike admirers since they’ve only ever brought her trouble though is not adverse to steady, healthy relationships as long as they like Ophelia and she likes them. It also because of her gross admirers that she’s begun to dislike her dancing and singing abilities since that draws them in more than just her looks. Despite her bad reputation in the Order, Nova is still deeply religious and goes by the Illumin beliefs, often telling others off if they go against it. Overall Nova is a serene woman, calm as a lake at times or wild and vengeful as a typhoon if you get off her bad side or threaten her daughter, showing great bravery against greater odds. She doesn’t trust easily but when you earn that trust you get a mother-hen who’s always looking out for you and making sure you’re healthy. She greatly dislikes those who take advantage or others, goes against the will of Illumin, or are generally unlawful. But she is also able to empathize with them as well, particularly if they are from poor beginnings like her or if they have reasons for their actions. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Aquila’s Blessings Magic Element: Water Magic Description: Named after the ancient mage, healing Lady Aquila, who was also known to heal with water. Nova uses the magic to bless the water she wields with holy power, giving it the ability to heal, buff, and defend her allies along with other useful things. No matter where she draws the water from as soon as her magic touches it becomes pure and clean, moving around her in strands like a protective friend. Usable Spells: Healing Spells (Price 1x), Other-Buff Spells (Price 1x), Supplementary Spells (Price 2x), Defense Spells (Price 2x) History History: Nova was born in the slums of Crocus and named after the brightening of stars due to her bright blue hair and yellow eyes. Her mother was a dancer in her youth and had several different children with several different men and a large extended family. Her mother danced and sang for their food and taught her daughters to do the same at a young age. The Artunis’s were very poor and the entire family and extended family helped each other along with others in the slums. When Nova got older it became apparent that she was blessed with the ability to wield magic, most likely from her unknown father’s side. This was a blessing since Nova was seen as valuable and could be used to pull the family out of the slums if her magical gifts were great enough. It turns out she had water magic skills and used it to make her dancing more beautiful, catching the eye of many who wanted the little girl as a slave or mistress. Nova was saved from that fate when she found that the water healed, catching the eye of Illumin priests and instead conscripted the girl into their order in return for Nova’s family getting more opportunities to move up in life and a more comfortable lifestyle. For the next few years, Nova lived in the great Illumin Church in Crocus as an acolyte and devotedly learned the ways of Illumin, completely at peace with this way of life. While she got into some trouble by continuing to use water magic instead of light magic she made do with what she had. As she grew she became more beautiful, attracting eyes and admirers even within the church where her vows should keep her safe. But scandal hit when she became pregnant by another priest at the age of 15. Her daughter Ophelia Artunis was born a few months after she turned 16 and despite her best efforts Nova was unhonourably kicked out of the order while the father got off scot-free. While a half-complete healing education, no offensive spells, no references, no money, and nowhere to go to since her family disowned her for the disgrace and to keep the positions they gained Nova and her baby ended back in the slums. While she disliked it by this point Nova danced and sang for money like she did before becoming a priestess and continued to learn how to heal, hoping to primarily make money off of that. By doing that and moving cities when someone became too interested in her she was able to raise Ophelia to the best of her abilities learn more about her magic.
