When Seira awoke from a deep slumber, she heard the voices of the people from outside and sighed heavily - she had forgotten to close the window yet again. The vampire wasn’t a heavy sleeper, she awoke easily to the sounds of voices and busy streets and although it was mostly to defend herself in case something was happening, these past few days she often forgot to close the window. It usually wouldn’t be a problem if she lived at a more secluded place, but these hotels were often settled into the middle of the town, and the market streets were basically right under her windows. There was already a lot going on and the vampire often slept through most of the day and woke up at noon or even afternoon and stayed up long during the night since that was what she prefered. Seira yawned and slowly got out of bed. She checked on Espeon, who was still dozing off in her own cat bed and decided not to bother her. She would prepare her some food in the kitchen and placed it next to her, but that was about it. The vampire had plans for the day, she wanted find work so she could leave Oak soon. There was probably still more to do, but she decided that after nearly two weeks it was time for her to find a new place. She had done some work for doctor Mabuz in her time here, and decided that it was probably better to find a different client this time around, considering how most of the work he requested her to do was highly illegal. Seira usually didn’t have a problem with that since she did more good work than bad, but at the same time the vampire didn’t want to risk getting a bad reputation due to the latest events regarding her relationship with people. Furthermore, she also grew more hesitant when it came to those type of things and decided to stop by the mission request board instead. Usually there was always something to be found there and the vampire decided to perhaps do some work for the nobles of this town instead, interested in what they had to say and what things they needed done. She went into the bathroom and took a shower to get ready for the day before leaving, leaving Espeon behind so she could do whatever she wanted to. The streets were still busy and there were still a lot of people outside, most of them working in their own shops and whatnot. Seira stopped by a coffee shop where she would get something to snack on and something to drink before she continued to head through the city. The request board wasn’t going to be much further away from here and after a while she arrived and spotted a lot of other travelers who were there as well. Seira was surprised to see so many people, but Oak was the largest city in the north so it wasn’t really that surprising.

Seira waited a while for people to remove themselves before she stepped up to the request board and gave it a look. There were indeed a few quests coming straight from the noble Family and Seira was definitely going to take them up on that, since she enjoyed being in the castle mostly because it was pretty interesting in there. She picked one up for herself that didn’t include much information, which honestly didn’t matter, and checked again who the client was. Servas was the Lord of the Phantasm family, housing Oak's popular castle. He had one of the highest reputations in town and there was not a single person in Oak who did not know him. She hoped that he was going to pay her generously even for simple tasks and started walking to the castle. It was a long walk since the castle was located somewhat outside, but that didn’t matter. When Seira arrived all she had to do was hold up the mission flyer so the guards knew why she had come here and she was let inside. The Lord himself was meeting her at the entrance and since no introduction was necessary, he went straight to business. “All the butlers are busy today, which is why you are here. My late wife’s death date is nearing and I want you to enter the dungeon and fetch me one of her favourite flowers. A few of them, make sure they are the most beautiful looking ones that you can find, that is all.” She nodded and was led to the dungeon he had spoken of. Seira had no idea how flowers grew inside a dungeon, but it didn’t matter to the vampire either. It quickly got darker and darker but fortunately she had perfect night vision and could see things clear as day, which made picking the flowers a lot easier. They were beautiful, white flowers and Seira made sure to pick a large number of beautiful ones. She was surprised at how simple the job was and that he actually paid people to do this, but at the same time he was a rich person and they kind of had a thing for wasting money or spending it on unnecessary things. Seira picked the flowers and after she finished doing so she slowly returned to the top. The dungeon itself didn’t give her any weird or strange vibes and even though she had a feeling that many years ago something not so peaceful was going on in here, after the late wife of the Lord had planted her flowers here, the bad auras had somehow disappeared. Something dark couldn’t bother the vampire anyways, since she was naturally aligned to it, and after returning to the surface she decided that it didn’t matter anyways. Seira handed the lord the bunch of flowers and upon seeing them, he actually shed a few tears. “These are indeed beautiful. The exact flowers that my wife loved so much - thank you for retrieving them for me. You shall be rewarded now.” Seira was given a good sum of money and was allowed to leave afterwards.
