ManaFine after long days here in Orchidia, it was really time to go. Something had changed but her mind wasn't set at peace to be sure what to do. She had wanted to see the world, she wanted to see more of Fiore, she was scared. She wanted to go home, back to Magnolia. To her mother. The Divine would understand. She was lonely, she met people that were interesting but not interesting enough to take the pull away of being home sick. Where else would she have to go but to Magnolia together with Scarlett. She sat at a bench in front of the inn where she had stayed for quite a while. She sighed and looked at it, really she was stopping her ultimate plan that wasn't a good idea but she would have to do something instead of staying here all the time, sighing and behaving like a stupid little child.
"Fine!" she said more to herself and the nothing than to anyone or Scarlett. She grabbed the trolley that was standing next to her and stood up and started to walk. It would be stupid and ridiculous but maybe a stop home, in a town that she always liked and loved was the best. So that would take four days of travelling and man she hated walking but it was the best option she had right now. She need to keep the jewels that she had earned for other things like food and water for both her and her companion Scarlett. It was a boring travel of course as she was alone but she had done this before. Actually she had traveled from Magnolia to Orchidia the first time and she had stayed there for three months and was now going home. So much for trying and find out the rest of Fiore. Maybe she would do that again, after. Definitely.
She stopped when she was not even very far out of Orchidia because she had a fitting cough and when she lifted her hand away from her mouth she noticed the blood spots. No. It must be from a bit in her lip because the Divine would protect her all the time, she was sure of that. She would say a short prayer before she would walk on again. For four days and for a long walk before she finally could see the huge Cathedral of Magnolia, which made her really happy because she needed some water and food, the last of her rations was gone. "Welcome home Lacie." she muttered to herself.
